I visited this charming shop yesterday to buy gifts and knick-knacks while visiting for the snooker. They have a delightful selection of products from independent, local artists and creators. I easily found everything I wanted, and they even found extra stock of an item that seemed to have sold out – excellent customer service! Awesome small businesses like these are so important for our communities, and I hope Bird's Yard continues to thrive in the months ahead.

In December 2019, I was working away from home in lovely, lovely Sheffield. My girlfriend came to visit, and as she and I were walking down Chapel Walk, she noticed something in the window of a gorgeous little shop of trinkets and treasures. A very sweet Snoopy the Dog dimmable lamp sat perched in the window pane, unbothered about life and seemingly very content in the window of Bird's Yard. Over a year later, I dropped the team over at Bird's Yard an email, enquiring over the lamp, with the intention of buying it as an anniversary gift. Michelle got back to me faster than I could have hoped, and was so helpful and enthusiastic about my idea. I couldn't believe just how wonderful she was, she even added a gorgeous personal touch to the package sent. Needless to say Michelle has really helped keep our wonderful memories of Sheffield so alive. I will absolutely be ordering from Bird's Yard again, and I hope to be able to drop by in person once we can venture out into the world once more. We are so very touched by Michelle's kindness. Our experience could not have been more personal or special, thank you Michelle!

Has to be my favourite shop in Sheffield. So many unusual and unique pieces and a great selection of items from local artist and crafters. You never know what you'll find but you're guaranteed to find something you love!

Really quirky gifts. Not expensive. Memorabilia I haven't seen anywhere else some relating just to Sheffield. Well worth a visit.

Quirky unique products, some look like fairly unique too. A great place to wander around in, and everything was pretty fairly priced given it seems to be locally made and sold.

A delightful little find that i came upon by chance. Right in the middle of chapel street is this little shop, very well set having all kinds of items made by local artisans. Quirky, bohemian, just the kind of outlet i like to go into that sells different kinds of items. From posters to magnets, keyrings, coasters, interior decoration stuff, soaps and whatnots. Smells nice too. The sort of place i would go to to look for something a little different for the bohemian corner in my home. You can mix and match things like coasters and buy at a reduced prize. Definitely worth a visit.

First off, it is really difficult to describe this shop as anything but an eclectic mix of artists’ products. From tea towels and jewellery to prints and handmade soaps, there’s a ton of great products on offer. The displays are almost set out to showcase a different artist at each turn. These range from pop art prints to Yorkshire-themed idioms on various items. Definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for something unique and that will support local artists and a small business.

Absalutley love this shop, popped in today and the shop is fantastic . If you want an unique gift that's all things Yorkshire or Sheffield it's the place to go, was so delighted told the woman in the shop and she ended up being a total legend and the owner we will be back my wax melts smell amazing xx

Lovely little place that we wouldn't have even noticed had we not stopped to pick up some Dr Martens. Stuff for every budget, formed most of our gift buying while we were away! Range of stuff from local sources and also national sources like Topple and Burn which I am already very familiar with. The amazing woman also gave us some free tote bags after we stayed in almost right up until closing!

Went for the first time today and it’s a really cute shop!all of the artwork(prints,totes,stickers,badges) are really nice and are all small artists.the prices are also very good for what you’re getting.deffo recommend visiting!
