I’ve used this car park for quite a while as it’s very close to city centre, despite its poor surface condition and as other people mentioned not the best website for payments. But they went too far this time - £100 fine for exceeding parking time by 17 minutes. Didn’t even realised it happened as my phone died that day, after appealing it stating that my phone has died etc got a reply straight away saying they can’t accept my appeal. If you want to appeal again you lose chance of reduced payment. Will avoid at all cost and I would recommend same. I’m sure they will lose much more in a long time period from all the customers that got the fine for such a petty thing

Paid to park at their machine and got a ticket which we displayed. We were there 30 minutes and then came back to the car park. Just over a week later, received a fine for £100 (£60 if paid within 14 days). I have contested it, but assume that they will just ignore for the next few days so the fine becomes £100. From other reviews on here, I can see that there are a variety of ways they fine people who have also paid to park via their machine and their app. Avoid like the plague.

There is both a pay and display ticket booth as well as registration plate recognition system. I paid for a pay and display ticket, then three weeks later got a £100 fine as I hadn't used the vehicle registration plate machine, which was broken. Of course I hadn't kept a parking ticket for 3 weeks to prove I had bought it. This company is scamming the public and deserve to be thrown in jail.

Parked and paid online (Parkonomy). Received a charge in the post for "non payment". Sent them the proof of payment. Now having to defend in court. So much hassle for simply being a compliant customer.

If you park here you’re very likely to get a very expensive and unfair fine because their machines don’t work so they can scam people out of money. Didn’t let me put in my full registration plate number, and when I appealed they rejected and said I should’ve rang the helpline as if people are just expected to have a charged phone on them at all times. Can everyone report this company as fraud? I just had to pay PCN even though I purchased a ticket. What’s best they never sent the PCN to my address. I’ve received FINAL NOTICE letter two weeks after demanding £100. How is this even allowed?!!

Do not use this car park. They are scumbags. I have been fined despite purchasing a ticket and showing substantial evidence in my appeal that I did so. Their ticket machine failed to record the full registration number and the (allegedly independent) adjudicator had the evidence that is the case but took the side of the operator even though their ticketing "system" is not fit for purpose. No matter what evidence you have that you have paid they will rely on the operators flawed system data to make their decision. Leeds council or trading standards won't help you either. Do not give this company - EXCEL PARKING - a penny or risk the stress and financial hardship of being fined unjustifiable.

One of the worst experiences parking in Leeds The car park is gravel and it has pot holes everywhere I’d say only for suv or 4x4s I managed to park and paid my ticket and went along with my business. When I returned (10 minutes early) to my astonishment i had a parking ticket (fine). The fine was apparently due to the ticket not being in the right place. It was clearly displayed in the drivers window they even sent me a photo of my car with the ticket in the window. This is a joke I am now waisting my time going to citizens advise to sort this out as they have taken me to court (with no one letting me know) for a CCJ. I would have been quite happy to go to court and dispute this fine, if I had been let know about this. Absolutely disgusting.

Handy for the city centre but very dirty ( dusty when dry, muddy when wet). Costs about £11 for a day. Gets full and a bit tight. Online payment can be a bit of a nightmare. Potholes galore and don't even think about using it after dark because it attracts an interesting crowd late at night... I presume that's also why it full of litter and bottles every morning...

Honestly avoid this car park! Full of potholes, cars full of dust! You need to wash your car every day if you keep using this car park! No security, no one to keep the place in order! Homeless and drunk people walking in pissing behind cars! Not the safety you’d except when you pay £12.50 a day!

DO NOT USE. They will repeatedly and aggressively demand excessive payment & threaten court, even though a proven requisite fee was paid for use of a space. Really disgusting behaviour from a true cowboy land owner and legal team. I have used the car park for years but no discretion or understanding is shown for what is in all honesty a disgracefully maintained area, see other reviews for verification of pot holes and similar demand for payment and pursuit. Use the nearby bus station or Trinity car parks instead.

They deserve no stars at all. I paid for parking but still got a PCN and appeal was refused because parking wasn't paid within 10mins. It would have cost the same amount no matter what time I paid. No refund was given either. Also my windscreen was stolen here. Such a scamming spot. DO NOT PARK HERE. The ground is also very unstable & customer service over calls was poor.

SCAM. DO NOT USE. SCAM. paid twice online Nd still received tickets, part of the car park is a separate car park and is unclearly signposted. They have made it very easy to get a ticket here. Do not use. Go to the multi-storey by the market/bus station.

AVOID! Someone hit my car in the car park, made a massive dint and left. Carpark company would not release the CCTV footage. Just don't risk parking there.

£10.40 for day(8hours) quality. I left them a 4 hour tip, Due to been so cheap!

Good location. But not good accessibility, terrain is terrible, litter everywhere including lots of broken glass, spaces not marked so often poor parking and difficult to manoeuvre around.

Good location. You must be very careful of potholes and where and how you park as the space markings are not very visible, and it is easy for drivers to scrape or bash others cars. Always park as safely and defensively as possible, giving a wide berth and tucking right in, keep wing mirrors in. I have a small car so it is fine. Be careful of the booking app - it can automatically add hours and charge you for them so watch the time slot numbers like a hawk. If you can navigate all of this, it’s a convenient place to park for cheap short stay of say a couple of hours in the city centre.

On the 22nd December all there machines were out of order , tried there customer service but no luck , downloaded there app but no luck as there whole system was down and I was running late for my Apple appointment so I left after struggle of 15 plus minutes and I went to the nearest NCP car park near the bus station easy IN and OUT there and much cheaper than these scammers. After a week I received a PCN that I didn’t pay for the time I stayed there , I explained it to them all your machines were out of order , app was down , couldn’t pay on your phone lines , check your camera CCTV as there were over 15/20 struggling to pay for it ,I’m taking them to court for their scams, not paying a penny and will recommend everyone to use NCP and stay away from here.

Fairly easy to get to and a fair price for the city centre. If you have lowered suspension, avoid or enter slowly 😋

SCAM I'd give NO stars if I could. Paid for parking here and received a notice not long after to say I hadn't paid and was being fined. I appealed- showed them a bank statement clearly showing I had paid and the appeal was rejected. Do not park here. My colleague also parked here on the same day and paid and the same thing happened to them. Looking at the reviews it seems to be something that happens to a lot of people. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
