I would recommend and use this Park and Ride again when heading into Oxford. To be fair the Oxford city team have provided a great service for most of their park and rides, so which ever is closest to your travels would be fine. This park and ride is modern, clean, safe and has full facilities (free clean toilets, vending machines for snacks if needed). It also has a lot of fast charging points for EVs, which appear to be solar charged as per the photos. Minor issue is the paying machines do not appear to be working (three out of four were not functioning and caused a queue to build up). Hence the 4 stars. Suggestions are: -to use the RingGo app and purchase your ticket there on your smart phone. -As of writing was £5; great value for 1 day return (for at least 2 adults and children). -there is no need to display tickets as you use it for the bus and there are camera operations. -you can simply show your ticket on the app (take a screenshot just in case and you simply hop on). -bus is the number 300 and only circa 2 stops to the Oxford WestGate shopping centre. -buses felt quite frequent (circa 10 mins a bus during the day and 20 mins during the evening). Please note: when I checked Google Maps it indicated it was temporarily closed (it is operational and quite busy on the Saturday in Feb 2023).

Decent enough park and ride although the parking machines are right near the bus stop and very slow. Not a lot of people know that you can purchase your car parking and bus ticket all in one. £4 for one person or £5 for two people + parking using the black parking machine (As of Oct 2022) so people pay for parking and then pay separately on the bus costing them more and taking ages for the bus to load up. I would also add that it's a rather abrupt turn left after coming off the roundabout so be warned.

Signage could be a lot better, ESPECIALLY, about the 10 minutes the council allow you to buy your ticket after arrival. The first you find out about this is when you're in the queue behind others who are struggling to find the next button to press on the ticket machine. That's the single operational machine out of five available!! If you're using the bus, the parking ticket you're buying includes 1 bus ticket. You can amend it to 2. This costs you +£1, whereas it'll cost you £3 on the bus. Again it's not obvious.

Fantastic service!! Cheap, convenient, well worth to park here if you visit Oxford. Seamless boarding for the (return!) city bus for 2 adults and 1 children, which is included in the £5 ticket, which is valid for all day parking! Ring Go mobile app also not charging admin fees for booking. For boarding the bus, you just show the driver the ring go booking in the app and you good to go.

The perfect place to park if getting the bus into Oxford city centre. I have been using it for over 20 years. There are toilets here which are handy and always clean. The buses are very frequent and I've never had to wait more that 15mins. It has recently been improved with the addition of an extensive electric car charging hub. I used one of the slower "fast" chargers as I was going on the bus but there are loads of super fast "rapid" chargers and Tesla chargers if you are on a long journey and need a top up. There will also be a new cafe added later. This is the future..

I am not a fan of Park and rides but this is the exception. Oxford have placed a lot of thought into their offering. Plenty of spacious bays. Clean toilets and I think it cost £6.20 for the car parking all day, including the bus tickets. Loved it.

Good park n ride. The parking was easy to locate, and we had a smooth bus journey into Oxford The ticket machines for the parking weren't very obvious and were slow so created a bit of a queue. Not knowing Oxford, we didn't know where to get off. I wrongly assumed it would just go into the centre, however I should have checked first. Fortunately I had Google Maps on my phone so was able to track where we were!

Great cycle path to city centre, especially if you go through grandpont nature reserve. Quiet road and footpaths. Couple of tight corners so ding your bell!

Charging heaven! Fastened chargers easy to use. Same price charged on contactless and app. 3 Chademo chargers and loads of ccs. Loos on site in park and ride building. Vending machines also, including coffee. Chargers under high canopy, so maybe some protection from the rain. I was there in the day, but it appears that there is adequate lighting for night-time use. As the chargers are within a car park, it should be clear whether or not payment is required when charging. The signs indicate that payment for parking is required within 10 minutes of arrival. I am half expecting a penalty notice for not having paid for my visit! This is the way every charging site from every provider needs to be!

Easy to find and great way to get to city center without the hassle of parking. Only ten minutes away from Orford city center. Great value for money.

Easy to get to & well sign-posted. Plenty of parking spaces & some electric chargers. Make sure you download the RingGo app prior to arrival as all the machines have "out of use" stickers on. However, there is ample WiFi signal & the app is very easy to use, it guides you through each step. We did park & bus so found the £5.40 all day price very reasonable considering there were 4 of us (just the bus alone usually costs more). The buses were very regular & clean & the staff were very polite & courteous in helping us find the bus stop for our return journey.

Great. Lots of spots. Don't like the 10 minute and get fined warning. 15 minutes is perfect, especially if you have kids or it takes you a while to park because you're a new driver. Tried the ticket machine instead of the apps. I didn't like the confusion that it was £4 for 1 adult, but when you pay £5 it just says "Maximum amount" but it actually means 2 adults for the park and ride. Regardless, will be back.

We visited 04/08/23. The two stars are earned only by its good proximity to the city. After parking you see signs you have to pay within 10 mins. Then there's another sign saying 1st hour free?! Of all the machines, most have been covered up with a Pay By App banner. Then there's two location codes for the app depending on if you're using the bus or not. Probably the least user friendly P&R site we've ever used. At least the bus driver was kind and patient, they must get fed up dealing with confused people.

Good regular service. Plenty of spaces mid week. I would say though, if it's your first time, you would be best having the website and map on your phone so that you can see the route and which stops to get on and off. Without this it would be very confusing, shown by the number of people having to ask for help at each bus stop. Maps in the bus stops would help.

Ready to find, great car park with plenty car park place and toilet. Buses are coming and going often so no long wait at all! Bus drivers are very helpful to direct you if you first time visitor! The price is outstanding for car parking and getting into Oxford City, definitely the place we park next time when we visit.

Useful park & ride. Easy access and buses to city centre are quite frequent. It’s a 10/15 minutes journey. Price is £5 for the day for 2 adults, so if you spent d several hours in Oxford it’s way much cheaper than any car park in the city centre.

This review rating is for the parking experience and not Fastned. Grubby and only a single disabled loo for everyone. Ringo app doesn't offer a 1 hour options and only a single parking machine was in use. Terrible customer experience for the Park & Ride. On the charging side, much better. Fastned CCS x 8 and all working and once auto charge enabled no need to even tap.

Park and Ride to Oxford is so simple and such a joy to avoid all that traffic! The busses are clean and comfortable, the bus drivers are helpful. The car park has plenty of space even on busy days it is likely you will find a parking spot. Makes a trip into the city an adventure, the only problem is there is no where to put your bags between shops so you have to carry all your shopping with you.

Plenty of parking available for your car. I also noticed a great number of electric car charging spots. You need to plug your car in and collect a free one hour ticket to charge the car. They have posted that you must take a ticket within 10 minutes. I'm not sure if they enforce the rule and how practical it is if someone buys a ticket at the 11th minute due to queues at the ticket machine. Buses into town are frequent and we didnt face any issues catching one.

A very good spot to park if you are visiting Oxford. Very reasonable park & ride fare for a family. Pay stations are plenty. Don't bother about using the automated charging system, as you can't buy park and ride with that system - use pay station!

Big carpark, good location, reasonable price. I found it very difficult to pay. The cash machines were centrally located and not working. Paying by phone call proved impossible. Luckily my son was able to pay by using his smart phone.

Good parking, easy way to.get into city. Need more payday facilities to obtain tickets. More information need in order to connect with City sightseeing bus tour .

While affordable, they have no working machines for normal customers who are using contactless, many people are then scamed by accidently using the 2 family ticket machines charing you 3 times the price. As it was I was forced to have to install a pointless piece of software on my phone, jump through God knows how many hoops to be able to park. If you want the public to use your transport system then actually make it accessible! Given that the pandemic required contactless payments to be used, and even out of the way rural locations managed that its a wonder how one of the largest park and ride companies in England are incapable of such feats!

It's a great deal and life saver as you can peacefully park your car and hop on the bus which takes you to the city center. If you have family with you, buy Park & Ride ticket for £6.8 from the Blue machine includes £2 parking for 11 hrs and £4.8 for bus for family of 2+2 return.

This service does not deserve a single star but Google does not let me do that! A totally useless attempt to encourage people to use the service. Huge queues to pay for parking your car, then huge queues tfor the bus. Then you are stuck in traffic and you feel trapped, conned by false promises of convenience and simply counting many long minutes /hours of the life you are wasting. My first and definitely the last time ever using this ridiculous waste of time.
