Always feel that my pets are well looked after here. Amy, the nurse, is really helpful and informative (and very kind to my puppy!) and the reception staff are welcoming and friendly.

To start with, I would say most people would consider their pets to be a member of the family and as such which care and treat them accordingly - Well during my visit the Southcrest they believe in the same values and really treated my puppy with care and love. I was previously registered with another vets in Redditch, and unfortunately during an appointment in relation to stomach issues and use of her back legs, the vet perscribed some probiotics but then seemed very dismissive as I discussed her back legs. This resulted in a diagnoses which caused serious worry to my partner and I, who ended up walking out the vets more concerned and confused then when we walked in. As a result, I was recommended by a family member to attend Southcrest and take a second opinion... so I did. The visit started with an initial call to the receptionist, who from the outset was polite who seemed to have genuine concern for my puppy, this was brilliant to hear as its exactly what you want to put your mind at rest. Due to the covid restrictions I wasn't able to go into the practice, but the initial call was followed up by a call from the vet. The vet was extremely kind. She talked through my concerns in a professional and a very down to earth manner. I was subsequently asked to take my puppy into the practice for her consultation. After a few minutes, the vet contacted me and again, in a professional and kind manner, provided a full diagnosis in a way which I could understand and feel confident in asking questions. At the conclusion of the consultation I went into the surgery to pick up my puppy and she was relaxed lay at the feet of a receptionist who was attending and comforting her. On payment, I was exceedingly shocked to see the cost, very reasonable and a lot less then anticipated. Overall, my experience at Southcrest vets was excellent and I cannot recommend this vets more - Thank you guys! Bella, my 8 month Golden Retriever is on the mend already and I'm very happy!

We took our little banana (cockatiel 😁 ) to Southcrest vets after phoning lots of vets who didn’t deal with exotics. He had fell off his perch and hurt his wing. He was registered quickly and we took him on the same day to be checked. Now our Spikey bird is 25 and a tad cantankerous so we were unsure how he would greet the vet! Shouldn’t have worried; he was smitten! Never even tried to kill her and acted impeccably (pun intended!) We asked to have his nails clipped while there as he was so well behaved! He was prescribed antibiotics and anti inflammatory meds and is back to his old self. Thank you so much for seeing him so quickly he thoroughly enjoyed his day trip and flirting with the lovely lady vet 😊

Easy to get to the vet who looked after my pet Rabbit, was very good and very knowledgeable about rabbits he was very helpful with friendly professional manner and the staff was also friendly professional manner to, unfortunately she passed away,which is a very sad time for me.

The service and care is always 1st class. From all the staff. Have been using southcrest vets for about 35 years now and always had the best service and advice ans care. Would always recommend this veterinary.

Excellent. Very poorly cat the vet found time to see and saved his life. Very skitty, difficult cat that the vet handled so well and helped me be able to help hold him too. Right injections, follow up meds and l have an increasingly bright, getting better beautiful boy all thanks to this practice.

Visited to get a snake looked at with very short notice as he had a life threatening condition. Adam the vet was wonderful with him. He was kind, caring, very thorough and very knowledgeable. He checked him very thoroughly and treated him so as to give him the best chance possible. I am hopeful he will recover but time will tell. Surprisingly the visit did not cost an arm and a leg either.

Booked for a certain price vaccine from options I was given and requested receptionist to stipulate this on my booking. Arrive at vets, vet is lovely, gives vaccine, go out to pay and receptionist is asking for a lot more than I was quoted. I question this and head receptionist comes over with an extremely bad attitude huffing & puffing & very sharply tells me I should have told vet which vaccine I wanted! I explained I told the receptionist at time of booking and she said that they have a colour coded system to which I told her means nothing to me as I don’t work there. She just kept arguing with me as she wasn’t happy about adjusting the price and acted as though she was doing me a favour for only charging me what I’d been quoted. Rude, arrogant and in desperate need of customer service training!

We unfortunately had to have our dog Ruby put to sleep 😔 the staff were AMAZING! They made what was a heartbreaking day less painful with their care and understanding.

Adam is our Avian Vet and he is amazing. He always takes the time to explain everything to us and always willing to answer our questions. He is our rescues vet and we cannot thank him enough for his knowledge and support x

Been going to Southcrest for 16 years and they have consistently been amazing. Professional, caring, and incredibly knowledgeable. We had our cat Angel put down yesterday and two nurses (whose names I wish I remembered) comforted both me and my cat. It was the worst day of my life made easier by you guys. You're all amazing, much much love xxx

Very kind helpful understanding I’m happy I’ve registered with them I have three cats just recently registered with them but they help me with my cat that was very ill so he had to go for that long sleep and they where under standing bless them thank you and as I’m disabled and house bound they came out to me and I’m so thankful for this service they have it has help with one of my worries about my fur babies so thank you southcrest vets 🥰👍🐾🐾🐾 I now know that bonnie Maggie and Garfield with your help can rely on.

Very friendly and welcoming vets. The staff are all lovely and really caring towards animals. Emily was also really helpful getting us started at the vets and is full information on animals especially our little Staff. We have been to see Dawn the past few appointments and she’s been very friendly and helpful especially sorting out River’s skin rash she had last week

Southcrest vets is such lovely, friendly and understanding veterinary practice. We have a nervous dog and they are so understanding and patient with him. Every visit they try and build up his trust as well as treat the problem. Definitely recommend them. Their love for animals is so clear and it reflects in the quality of the treatment they provide.

Absolutely disgusting service I rang on the 5th of September asking for a call back from the vets regarding my cat elvis about his back legs we are now the 13th and I am still waiting a phone call back this is terrible service will not use you again sort yourself out

Most awful experience recently. Took my dog as I have been for many years , my dog can knly take one certain anti-inflammatory, as others make her very ill. This was specifically explained to the nurse on the day of my dogs operation. Was even written in the form. But they still prescribed it to my dog . Needles to say WE WON'T BE GOING BACK AGAIN.
