We were referred to this gem by a good friend of the owner and I am SOO glad he did. The place has such a cozy upscale feel but not in a stuffy way. It’s not a large place BUT the spacing is great as you don’t feel like people are on top of each other. Started with a Caprese salad, then hot bread and oil then on to starters calamari and the mussels where we also dipped the bread in the sauce!! Of course that’s all I needed as o was beyond full BUY then I had one of the best pork chops I eve had. It sat on polenta and a balsamic Demi glaze sauce. It was to die for! Wife had Orecchiette- broccoli rabe, garlic oil, crushed red pepper, parmesan reggiano! Finished with cappuccino and of course Ricotta cheese cake….BOOM!! Not if WHEN a you go say hello to Andrew a server there. Makes you feel like your right at home 👍🇮🇹🍷 5*****

Trama’s Trattoria is definitely the BEST restaurant in Long Branch! The owner is the chef, and he cooks each dish to perfection! The sauces are true authentic Italian sauces! They have so much flavor, and they are so delicious! Tonight we had the garlic bread and meatball with polenta for appetizers both were so good! The polenta he makes is INCREDIBLE! For dinners we had the chicken Parmesan and bucatini Cacio e peppe both were EXCELLENT! The chicken Parmesan was so tender, and the sauce was so flavorful! I’ve had his ricotta cheesecake on my last visit, and it was delicious! I wish he would add the carrot cake to the dessert menu. He had as a special awhile ago, and I loved it! I highly recommend dining at Trama’s Trattoria in Long Branch!

Once again Trama’s did not disappoint! This is my all time #1 favorite restaurant!!! Food is always out of this world and service is second to none!! Chef Pat is amazingly talented. I am floored by the ingredients he uses in his dishes that leave you wondering how he comes up with these mouthwatering plates! Andrew and Sean are probably the best in the business, they never leave a stone unturned and are on top of things at all times no matter how busy it gets. The food is ALWAYS consistent, so creative, but more importantly incredibly delicious!! Every plate comes out piping hot and the quality is top notch! The cocktails no matter what you order are as tasty as they are beautiful! I could eat here every weekend because there are so many amazing choices to pick from on the menu! I cannot say enough about this place! Whenever I am discussing great places to eat in the area Trama’s is not only my first pic but a top choice of whomever I am talking to. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place!! Truly the best of the best!!!!!!!!’n

Trama is by far the best restaurant on the Jersey shore. The food is always incredible. Every dish is more creative than the next and the flavors are outstanding. The atmosphere is energetic while having a very elegant vibe. Pat Trama is a master chef that knows how to make the most flavorful dishes. This is our regular spot for delicious drinks and fantastic food. But this is also the perfect place for a special night out. The staff is always professional, knowledgeable and courteous. Andrew, Rob and Sean make every visit special.

Really great Italian food and fantastic service. Probably the best quality in the area. Highly recommend the garlic bread and the pastas. Branzino was also spectacular. We ate outside due to coronavirus, but it was a great time. The Caesar salad was also pretty good and was served with real anchovies (we got ours on the side)

This is a great place to come celebrate a special occasion or to treat yourself to a fancy dinner. Great atmosphere and amazing service. The food is really good and made with the best of best ingredients. The menu is on the pricier side because this is a high end Italian restaurant near the beach which is understandable.

Not only was our food delicious, but the cozy warm feeling in the restaurant was just the perfect setting. We opted for bar seats, which was a great choice for just 2 of us. It was like a happy family, we were chatting with 2 other couples before we knew it. Highly recommend. The bartender Rob was awesome.

A gorgeous contemporary yet romantic spot to enjoy perfectly crafted cocktails and scrumptious food. The Fra Diablo special was soooooo good, as were the Mussels we're delish - enough to share for us. Service was top notch and just wow!! Def going back - what a lovely spot! A New Jersey restaurant with the quantity and service of a Manhattan restaurant. Simply amazing!

I’m not even really sure where to start. From the second I walked in I loved the decor and overall cleanliness of the restaurant. The waiter we had was extremely friendly and helpful with any questions/concerns we had also. I ordered the seasonal drink the Winter Wonderland Margarita and wow was I impressed by the taste, if you are into sours this is certainly the drink for you! Then lastly came the entree which was a chicken parmigiana dinner that I ordered off the specials for the evening. Not only was this chicken thinly sliced and massive but it quite possibly may be the best chicken parmigiana I’ve ever eaten. This restaurant is small though so I recommend making a reservation in advance because there’s a good chance you’d wait a bit as a walk in. Hope this review is helpful for anyone looking for a nice night out at a high quality restaurant!

Our new favorite restaurant, and I will explain. First, the food and menu. We're gourmet cooks, and it's unusual to go to a restaurant and have a hard time deciding what to order....because we cook so many different things ourselves. Well, the menu was awesome. And we picked an assortment of food. The calamari is the real deal...it reminded me of calamari we had in Florence that's only available 'in season'. The baby artichoke salad was delicate and flavorful. I ordered the pork chop for a change, and this dish was just filled with flavor. My husband got the branzino...and he couldn't believe how good it was. Our friend got the clams and pasta which she said was also awesome. Lovely interior and spacious. The bar was long and filled with patrons on a Wednesday night. The staff was attentive and knowledgable. You can look into a spotless kitchen. Oh, and the pinot noir wine was excellent. We had no room for dessert, but next tim I won't make that mistake! Y

Our favorite Date Night spot. We love the food, people and ambiance. We even have a steady drink order. My husband gets the 923 created by bartender Andrew and I love the It’s Lit. As for food; where to begin? Some of our favorites include the cacio de peppe, artichoke salad, and truffle ravioli. trust me when I say, the food never disappoints. Like ever. What more can you ask for? I want to go right now!!! P.S I made my husband bring back their food to the hospital after giving birth to my second baby. So I think you should try it lol

Trama's is a good restaurant with food dishes that are typical and simple but well prepared. The dishes are made with fresh ingredients, are nicely cooked and are flavorful. The restaurant appears to be consistent, the service was very good but it is expensive. There is one criticism I have and that is the portions of some of the dishes were very small.

Wow.... Food? Incredible. Ambience? Perfect. Service? Best I have had to date, Shaun (spelling?) our server was amazing, so personable and attentive. I will be back, can't believe this was my first time there.

The service was AMAZING, but the food was even BETTER! Best eggplant parm I’ve had in a LONG TIME! My rigatoni WAS DELISH. Our desert too, out of control! Highly recommend!

I was so excited to finally be able to try this restaurant and ended up being hugely disappointed. I went to dinner with my friend and my nephew, it was a rainy day and as we didn't have a reservation the receptionist sat us outside at a table that received rain and wind. When the server showed up, she served us poorly, we said it was our first time and we were curious to know the dishes but no information was given to us about the menu or specialties of the house as well informations about the wines, my friend came from Portugal and wanted to try a house wine or one that match his plate, however no information was passed, so we decided to look online for informations about the pasta, photos and flavor to get guidance, even in this situation the server just passed by to see if we had already chosen, this happened 4 times and no one offered some help in choosing or give suggestions; when the dishes arrived the option that my 9 y.o nephew asked was basically pure chilli pepper, but on the menu doesn't say what level or information so the pasta was inedible for a child and even for me. After 15 minutes the server decided to show up to serve another table, but with a completely different reception and approach compared to ours. Then I requested the return of the dish and asked if they could make it more mild or without spices. When it returned it was basically a pasta mixed with tomato sauce and only… ZERO flavor! It was so bad that I preferred to take it home to remake it with other ingredients. So I DIDN’T eat at all!!! Plus in addition theres these 2 busers that kept coming to our table to remove anything, we were constantly being interrupted and very annoyed by, taking away the dishes and letting a person eat the table alone, lack of manners and good etiquette, you never let a person eat alone! And to finish what left me completely DISAPPOINTED was when I asked for the bill and the server returned throwing the guest check in front of me on the table, giving me a big scare and yet again impolite since there is a man at the table! She threw it and walked away! What a HORRIBLE experience, what a HORRENDS reception I do not recommend and honestly I felt very very uncomfortable in the environment of this restaurant.

My girlfriend and our friends frequent Tramas on a regular basis. I chose to propose to my girlfriend there this week as I know it would be a special place to ask for her hand. They did not disappoint, they never do. The food and service is ALWAYS top notch. The chef is a Rockstar. This chef could make a rock tasty enough to eat. He's on the top of his game as is Andrew and his staff. Well done and thank you for helping make our special evening that much more beautiful.

I loved my experience here. I sat at the bar and was met with graciousness, hospitality, and truly excellent food. Robert behind the bar was extremely attentive and a joy to chat with, and Shawn and Andrew both came by to check in on how I was doing. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a welcoming, delicious and cozy night. Would definitely come back!

Excellent Italian restaurant. I don't always eat Italian food out, this is the exception! You won't want to pass it up. Food is always fresh and delicious. From start to finish, there sure to please. Love my pasta dishes! My favorite pasta dish is the rigatoni, amazing! There fish is superior, freshness and prepared deliciously. Excellent service, friendly and courteous. There always willing to go the extra yard. Now, I can't wait to go back! Bon appétit
