The service I received last night of the lad with the stringy hair on top of his head was appalling. Not the first time either. For example, I asked if I could have no ice in 3 drinks, proceeded to put ice in all 3, I reminded him no ice and he just aggressively threw the ice out of 1 glass and still proceeded to put ice in the other 2. His attitude is absolutely disgraceful to such a customer orientated role. My food was also terrible. I ordered the steak, medium. It came, medium rare. I sent it back and asked if it could be more done. It came back, mostly still medium rare, some areas medium and some medium well. It was terrible. Why offer a steak if you can’t cook one? The peppercorn sauce was tastless, chips tasted dirty and the mushrooms looked like old chewed up bubblegum balls stuck on the plate. Completely put me off coming back.

I recently visited Plas Coch and was impressed with the overall experience. The ambiance was nice and the prices were good. The fries were especially tasty and the portions were generous. The 8 oz steak I had was perfectly cooked, although it was way too chewy. The staff was friendly and the cooking times were quick. All in all, I would recommend this restaurant, but you might want to opt for chicken instead of beef steak.

Food was really good ,just need to thicken up the gravy and would have had full marks. Staff were really nice, friendly & efficient. The cake was massive and tasted fantastic.

Visited today(Sunday) on the way back from a few days away. We hadn't booked and the found us a table as it was busy. We ordered or food and picked up the drinks from the bar. The food arrived and no problems with it at all. It was hot, cooked correctly and of a good sized portion. The staff were attentive and were constantly cleaning and asked it the food was OK. We don't live nearby but if passing again we'll probably call in.

A bit slow especially when it came to the bill and it being table service due to covid regulations at the moment, but the staff were friendly. The food tasted good, and they were able to seat us without a reservation. I've been many times in the past too, and it has always been one of the best for some pub grub.

Came here with my friend for some quality time together. Service was spot on for the busyness of the day. Constantly checked up on by Faith, Meryl and Molly. Food was outstanding, 10/10. Cooked beautifully. (the cowboy burger, would highly recommend). Drinks constantly topped up by Tom and Alex. They all did extremely well and made me feel absolutely amazing about the service here. 10/10 would highly recommend visiting this place. Quiz night, despite being last, was well hosted. Questions thoroughly articulated and excellently hosted by Faith. Overall, thoroughly enjoyed my first experience at the Plas. Would highly recommend giving it a chance.👍

We had a group booking of 16 people to celebrate our 11th wedding anniversary. I booked 2 tables online but rang and spoke to a guy(think he was duty manager) ,he was most helpful and put us all sitting together.Nothing was too much trouble! Food was perfect and served very quickly and all meals served together.Prices good especially 30% off mains meals drinks a bit pricey but that's the way is now!Plas Coch very busy ,queuing at bar to order(qr code on table brilliant idea) however a young female member of staff asked me if I was paying by card and took me to another till which was excellent service.All staff very pleasant and obliging.Restaurant lovely and clean, will certainly call again .We'll done and thank you all.

Considering it was busy, we didn't have to wait too long. There were 7 of us. The only thing I would like to change, I had baked potatoes with prawns. The prawns in their sauce were already on the baked potato l, so I has to scrape off before I could add the butter. Maybe place the prawns in a side dish? Other than that it was delicious, as was the salad it was served with.

The staff are excellent. Come in for the family bingo hosted by Tom. This was excellent. Sampled a couple of nibbles. The food was fast, hot and tasty. All the staff really made the night fun. Can't wait for the next bingo night.

I regularly take my 96 year old dad from his nursing home to The Plas Coch for a drink and sometimes food. The staff are always lovely, really accommodating of my dad, cheerful and friendly. The beer is good and the food is tasty pub grub and there is a lot of choice. I would always recommend it as a great pub.

The Manager was very accommodating given how busy it was and how hot it was. The staff were really friendly and attentive as well especially due to the conditions. The food was excellent and was served in a timely manner and we will definitely be returning as it was our first visit as we are new to the area. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Booked a table ... went to order desert to be informed the kitchen closed at 9pm shocking for a sat night .. peas like lead shot, mushrooms must have been on a hot plate for 2 days and I had more fat than meat on the steak . I'd rather go hungry than go there again. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYBODY. I only put 1 star as it wouldn't let me post otherwise

The server, Nikita was extremely helpful, my family are really fussy so I had to make quite a few requests and she made sure it was exactly all how we wanted it. The food was really good, nice atmosphere, reasonably priced. We will be returning soon.

Popped in for tea after being in town. Plenty of parking 🅿️ spaces, got a table no problems. Ordered at the bar, food took 30ish mins but that isn't very unusual these days. Food was very nice 👍🙂.

I don't particularly like ordering food via the app but go with it to move with the times. I had to order desert at the bar as I have a fussy 10yr old but the staff member who served me was very good and amenable. Waiters and staff in general were very attentive, personable and very engaging. A really enjoyable experience from start to finish

Greeted and seated very quickly. Libby, the waitress, was very polite and well-mannered. Was able to order at the bar (we prefer speaking to someone when ordering). Food came out really quickly and was nice and hot. Food was lovely too - no complaints! Love the park at this location too - wouldn't come without the park as we have a toddler! Literally the only thing I can think of suggesting to improve would be to have a side salad and dressing with the burger. Will continue to use this site for meals out with our toddler.

I got the seating I asked for when making the booking for my 50th birthday meal. The staff were polite and helpful, full of smiles. The food was cooked to perfection and all three of us were very happy with it. Service was good although it did let itself down with clearing the table of used glasses and drinks containers, the same with when we had finished our main course. Overall I was very happy with the experience and would definitely go back there again.

Really friendly and helpful staff. Good baby changing platform - hooks for hanging changing bag would be good please. Good children’s menu too. What about a simple play area next? 😁

Medium review. Staff were lovely and the place was clean . Food wasn't as I hoped for... Pizza my son had was very bland and hardly any ingredients on. Burger I had was filling and good taste. Not trying to put a bad review but wasn't as good as I wanted all round for food

Excellent service from start to finish. We reserved a table and the guy who met us was so helpful, took us to our table and showed us the app we needed to order. Food was really good and fast service

We came for the breakfast with Santa morning. Can’t rate it enough we had a brilliant time from the moment we arrived. The staff were so friendly & helpful Santa & his elf were brilliant. Have already recommended to friends for next year if it’s on again. Teas & coffees were topped up quickly the breakfast was delicious and most importantly the kids had an amazing time. Service was great from the start. Thankfully we were able to be seated despite how busy it was. Amelia was fantastic! She was able to find us despite the fact that my wife gave the wrong table number! Great food as always. I enjoy every visit and this isn't an exception.

I took my friend for a meal and we were so well looked after especially by Debbie who was so friendly and accommodating. I ordered the Mac n cheese and Jay ordered the gammon. We didn’t have to wait long for the food to arrive and we were both pleased with our meals which were very tasty, thank you to the two ladies in the kitchen. A lovely pub, nicely decorated with a pleasant atmosphere. I would highly recommend and I look forward to my next visit.

The plenty of parking. Good atmosphere, polite and helpful staff. Its pub grub but the food and drink was easy to order via app or over the bar. The food was plentiful, well presented and well cooked and competitively priced. We will return and I would recommend others.

Customer service was great. Daz the waiter was great he was very attentive & friendly. We were well looked after. The main thing that let the evening down was the food, it was served hot but the taste wasn’t great for me. The others in the group said the food was okay.

Steak and wine deal is amazing steak cooked to perfection and the wine washed it down well. We be back with more friends next week. Despite Plas Coch being really busy they were able to get us a table. Staff were very friendly helpful and attentive. Food was absolutely brilliant and service was great. Literally moved to the area that day, called in there at night to relax and unwind after moving. Was made to feel very welcome, excellent food and the Guinness was just as nice. Staff were very polite and very hospitable. Check backs on food and customer service was brilliant. Definitely call in more ofteb

Poor steak, really hot at our table due to heater under seat. Was asked if food was ok as soon as it arrived, hadn't even tasted it to reply. Nobody around after to complain my steak was pink..asked for well done and it was chewy!!

Plas Coch is very dog friendly. Dogs allowed outside and they serve you clutching doggie biscuits and provide water for them. We stop for a coffee regularly. We went yesterday and we had a free carrot cake with our coffee. Staff very pleasant. They are now taking orders at the bar. Food is reasonable and very nice. Nice and clean. Children's play area.

Staff were attentive and polite. Very helpful. Food order for eleven people came out together which was good. The quality of the food was very good value for money.

Nice clean pub. Food was nice and fresh. Pleasant surroundings. Can eat inside or outside. We had to check in separately with our mobile phones for covid track and trace using Q code. The youngest I saw in there was about 5yrs old so they do cater for children. I liked their dinning chairs, just right if you have mobility problems, high but not too high to feel like you're on a bar stool and very comfy armrest and back support. I'll go again

Wow! Sunday dinner was absolutely beautiful, ordered the beef, melted in my mouth, the vegetables were amazing. Had never thought of going here for a roast before but will definitely be going again. Great service & exquisite food, highly recommend 😊

Upon entering there was a warm welcome and we were seated. The staff member explained the ordering process clearly and efficiently. We enjoyed our meals which arrived quickly and hot. My friends and I come for lunch every couple of months or so, and as always, we were greeted warmly with a smile. Our server, Ashley, came over promptly to take our drinks order and then to take our food order. We weren't ready to order, no problem! When she came back again we still hadn't decided, no problem! When we had finally decided, I wanted to change some things on the dish I wanted, no problem! In fact, that is always the attitude, no problem, whatever the customer wants they will do their utmost to accommodate you. I don't think I have come across such friendly, yet professional staff. The manageress Merrel is also a credit to your establishment, always going that one step further. The food came out promptly and was once again tasty and hot. We six have booked to go for the festive menu in December and are already looking forward!

Been twice in last 3 weeks for 10 of us each time needed a quiet area for for brother and the lady seated us well . All food was lovely, the gluten and wheat free option was by far the best we have found in a long time. Ashley was lovely talked to everyone and was so polite and accommodati thank you will definitely call in again 😊

Near Uni at Wrexham..plenty of room when we arrived around 12.30. Varied menu..well stocked bar..staff were great..very clean and tidy pub. Sat indoors but plenty of outdoor tables and a kiddies play area. Food was great and portions good size..reasonable prices. So all round great place..ticks all boxes..Definitely visit again. It's been an Excellence from the customer service to the food served. We have been over numerous times for our meals especially Sunday roast (Plas Coch is always our first choice), never ever been disappointed and always been greeted with warm welcoming.

Lovely staff. I wanted to try the new lunchtime menu with the baguettes, they only offer it Monday-Friday which is very disappointing, I wish they offered it at the weekends as it was tasty and I can't usually go in the week as my husband works full-time, we only got to go this time because it was the Bank Holiday.

We had a very pleasant evening with you. It was a group of old work friends having a catch up. Everyone was pleased with there meals. I had a 30% off voucher to which made things even better. But it was good value for money anyway before the voucher so it was excellent value for money when they found out I had the voucher. The lady serving us was lovely. Didn’t get her name sorry. Tom was waiting on the table with the meals and he done an excellent job. Overall it was very enjoyable and we will return again very soon I’m sure 😊

We had an early lunch stop at 11.30. We were quickly seated and drinks arrived straight away. The breaded mushrooms were lovely and the fish and chips were excellent. The chips were very crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy and the batter on the fish lovely and light. The service was excellent and the staff really attentive. We will definitely return.

Excellent service. All staff were friendly. We did have an issue trying to use WiFi and online ordering which I spoke to a staff member. We were unable to resolve the issue, but that didn't interfere with the excellent service we recieved. Food was very nice too. We will return again.

What a wonderful pub, everything about our visit was perfect, from being greeted at the door, to the moment we left. The food was really good, the cask ale perfect, and the staff amazing! It’s the first time ( and I’m a pensioner 🤣) that I’ve ever been out for a meal and not had to grumble about something 🥰 Will definitely be returning!
