Best biryani in Porto! Honest and simple food but super tasty. Very good portions. Nice and friendly service. Very good chilli naan and curry. The samosas were huge! And it is so cheap. Highly recommended.

Classic hole in the wall halal Desi spot in Porto. Food is solid --- pretty authentic Indo-Bengali cuisine. We had the beef curry, chicken curry, beef biryani, and chicken biryani, and all were quite tasty, with fresh meat and ingredients. However, neither types of rasmalai was to our liking. Chai was decent. Overall, solid spot.

Nice Indian restaurant, traditional Indian dishes, smiling service and relatively cheap prices. I ordered chicken curry, rice and a small bottle of water. The food was very tasty, the portions were relatively large, and the bill came out to 10 euros.

I'm really amazed with their full of package(food+hospitality+behaviour) They know how to cook and how to do best behave with their clients. Foods are really yammy, they know their work and very professional. I've tried their Garlic Naan with Gravy Beef Curry, It was outstanding delicious. Keep it up your good works.

We searched on google and found this place. We read a mixture of reviews about this place so we thought we’d try it out. We went as a family, it felt like we had surprised them, maybe they were not used to having many families dine there. Most of the other customers were male and by themself or with another male companion. So as a female I felt a little uneasy. However, the waiter was welcoming and attentive to our requests. As you walk in the place seems a little run down so I was worrying what the food would taste like, as the saying goes, “the proof is in the pudding.” We ordered grilled sea bass with rice, grilled chicken wings, chicken pilau, and Chana masala with fresh rotis. When the food arrived we were pleased, it tasted amazing. And it was fairly priced. Would recommend you try it out and see for yourself just like we did. Only took away a star as other customers were staring and making us feel a little uneasy, and the place could do with a change of decor and clean up.

The service is chaotic and unreliable, the decor is basic and old fashioned, the place looks dirty, but the food is absolutely gorgeous AND it's low cost.

If you’re craving an authentic and delicious halal experience in Porto, look no further than Royal Nobab Grill & Halal Restaurant. As a fan of flavorful dishes, my visit to this restaurant left a lasting impression. The first thing that caught my attention was the delightful aroma of spices wafting through the air as I entered the restaurant. The menu boasted a variety of halal options, and I decided to start my culinary journey with the Chicken Curry. The tender pieces of chicken were immersed in a rich and aromatic gravy, making every bite an explosion of tantalizing flavors. The spiciness was on the higher side, but it added an exciting kick that left my taste buds craving for more. Moving on to the Chilli Naan, I must admit it was the spiciest naan I’ve ever encountered. While I appreciate a good level of heat, this naan was a bit overwhelming for my taste. However, if you’re a spice enthusiast, it might be just your thing. The price point at Royal Nobab Grill & Halal Restaurant was incredibly reasonable, with my bill coming to just 15 euros. Considering the portion size and the quality of the food, it was definitely a steal. Unfortunately, not every dish reached the same level of excellence. The Samosas, though being a classic appetizer, were below average in my opinion. The filling lacked depth of flavor, and the pastry wasn’t as crispy as I had hoped. The ambiance of the restaurant was average, providing a comfortable setting for a casual dining experience. However, what truly sets Royal Nobab Grill & Halal Restaurant apart is their commitment to serving halal food. For those seeking halal options, this aspect alone makes it a must-visit spot in Porto. In conclusion, my overall experience at Royal Nobab Grill & Halal Restaurant was a memorable one. The flavorful and spicy dishes, along with the affordable prices and the assurance of halal food, make it a worthy destination for any food lover. While the Chilli Naan might be too fiery for some, the Chicken Curry alone is worth the visit. So, if you find yourself in Porto, I highly recommend stopping by Royal Nobab Grill & Halal Restaurant for a satisfying and halal culinary adventure.

This Bangladeshi restaurant in Porto is a testament to the magic of culinary fusion. In just one meal, it transported us to two distant lands and wove their flavors together into a masterpiece. Whether you’re a food enthusiast or seeking an unforgettable dining experience, this restaurant is a must-visit. It’s a hidden gem in the heart of Porto, offering a tantalizing taste of Bangladesh that lingers long after the last bite. Don’t miss the chance to embark on this gastronomic adventure. Your taste buds will thank you.

We ordered chicken biryani, chicken bhuna, paratha, roti, Gulab jamun. Food is cheap here and it wasn’t bad at all but there were few things I didn’t like For example Chicken biryani has too much oil. It was more like rice fried with oil and chicken. Gulab jamun was cold. They said chicken bhuna will have little gravy but there was no gravy just oil. Rest is all ok The location is little shabby and don’t expect a good ambiance. So that’s why 3 star.

The perfect food place if you are a desi and craving for spices. This is like the comfort food for Pakistan with a familiar taste. The best part is that it isn’t “angraizi desi”, it is actual desi tasting desi. Tried their chicken biryani, chicken curry, naan, tea and chicken samosa. Everything was too good.

Amazing food. Bit of a steep walk from the station but food was worth it. Hidden gem in Porto. Everything was freshly made. Biryani, chicken karahi, mutton. Even the chai paratha.

For halal food, the dishes area fine but a bit pricey if you look into the food portion. Staff are busy with the phone while taking orders and some of the food taking time to prepare such a grill item are fine for me but they seems don't recommend it and I feels weird that it seems they don't want the business??Not all food available during my visit, such as their chicken wings, which, for me, it is such a shame that restaurant should manage the stock properly during seasonal holidays week. I can't complain that the food tastes are fine for me, but the staff attitude working in the FNB lines should have better manners. People come across the world to taste your signature dish, and products are not available. It's really such a frustrating situation for a food lover like me. Do I recommend this shop, maybe yes for those who need halal food with standard budget 1 person within 15 euros. You need to be patient with the way the waitress takes your order while he is busy talking to other people at the back or on the phone. The shop is at the alley.. It's a bit hidden, and it is near the Porto Theatre area.

Worst Restaurant i ever visited in my life. We walked all the way up from ponte luis bridge to the sloppy upwards location with our kids to have a better food. But after all the hassle we had to reach there. The staff of the restaurant was not at all interested to speak to us or take our order though i approached him and asked for Menu No response. He was busy over the phone and said you can look for the menu. Didn’t eat there and left and enjoyed food at the morrocan Restaurant around the corner which i would recommend all tourists. Great food and best service.

Closing time was 11 and we entered at 10. We were told to hurry up en a bad manner, when asked to give us 1 min to look at the menu , that made waiter angry. We felt insulted so we had to leave. They should need to learn to behave well.
