One of the best hotels for authentic Odia cuisine in bam. They have the best menu for veg n non-veg items. Has seating facility too.. the ambience is also very good and has decent seating arrangements. Staff are cooperative and quick in service.

We ordered both veg and non veg thalies but the taste is vey basic and quantity of veg thali is decent, and in non veg it's not up to the mark. Quality of both the thalies is average , the management must work on it.

Pretty decent place to have any kind of odia food. If you want to try authentic odia dishes, this is the one place you definitely should pay a visit to. The endless Thalis are awesome (needless to say!) so are the other items. The desserts are also good and pretty reasonable. Would love to try out more dishes.

A cosy place Some tasty food Decent hygiene and ambience Just one problem is the crowd. I was planning to have lunch here with my family members. I came early at 12:15 PM on Sunday and reserved a place for us. Due to the crowd and my family members are yet to arrive, they asked me to leave the table at first and after some time to leave the room and wait outside. That hurt, literally! We waited for 15 mins and got another table. Anyways, you will forget everything when you eat their special Mutton Curry. That's what happened with me. I liked it so much. We have ordered Chicken Kurma, Prawn Cqurry, Fish Tawa Fry, Small Fish Fry as well. But the Mutton Curry was at another level. All curry items are good I would say. At last, one person was starring at me while I was finishing my lunch. I asked him why and he said he was waiting for me to finish my lunch so that he can take over my table. πŸ€” So, some suggestions to Team Kranti Odia- 1. please look after your crowd 2. Accept all kind of payments. Why just cash? 3. Start booking reservations over phone so that no one has to wait outside. 4. Make sure fry items are warm enough to eat. 5. Don't add too much water to the Dal.

Non vegetarian food served along with dal and rice. All non vegetarian dishes are good chicken curry, mutton curry, prawns and fish curry. Also serves vegetarian food. Resturant ican accomodate 40 people at a time usually hotel is full during lunch time. Mutton curry is the best choice. Good place to enjoy non vegetarian meal along with family and friends at Behrampur

It was a great hit amongst masses searching for home style food. It offered wonderful combos which still attracts a lot of customers. It's a good place for eating out. The ambience of the place is truly Odishan style with a lot to cater to your eyes. It is always crowded but the wait is worth the tasty treat.

Naam bade darshan chotte. Tried their non-veg thaali..which included rice(less quantity), dal, charu or rasam, semiya, mutton curry 3-4 small chunks and half of a big size potato, chicken curry 1pc, 1 egg curry, chingudi ghanto, kukuli fish fry..all for Rs. 249. They claim to offer thaali but dont know how come it is a thaali when there is no refilling of even rice and dal..They charge extra even for rice and daal in thaali... Pathetic. Taste of thaali was ok.. Chingudi ghanto the best, Mutton was not cooked properly was very chewyπŸ‘Ž, chicken worst, egg curry was very good. Chicken pakoda was tasty..a must try along with chicken ghanto. Poor management, Staff are very confused takes a lot of time to serve...Usually crowded so have to wait for sometime to get a table.. Very disappointed with this place..Not going to visit it again..They have degraded since my last visit a long time ago.

Didn't like the Packaging at the first place . This is not Biryani, this is just a Basmati kind of rice with the Biryani masala mixed . They could have atleast packed with the Aluminium cover . I didn't like the taste . The quantity was okay . When i questioned the worker who parceled the Biryani about the Aluminium cover. He rudely denied , this is what we have ,. That's it. We are customers , they are made today of. Such attitude is inappropriate. It would be better if the management understand and rectify irrespective of their concern. The food quality is also not good. Biryani i definitely do not recommend.

Except food , nothing else was remarkable. There is no rest room, no that much bigger area for dine . But food quality compensated all that missing things ...it'd be more renowned,if size of dine area gets whopped .

Taste just like before, always crowded, mostly in between 1pm to 3pm. Thali meals is just wow, all odia cuisine items you can experience, from spicy fries to odia sweets. It will take 10 to 15 minutes to get your items on table. Drinking water is served in brass glasses.

Hmmm .. The atmosphere was as expected cause this place is so crowded and demanding as the name suggests.. they serve good food at affordable prices.. One thali contains 19 items at very affordable cost .. I personally ordered individually cause I wanted to taste several things .. I ordered prwan masala , mushroom masala , fish besara, saga and badi chura ( it's mot available though ). I really likes the quality of rice they serve and dal aswell.. the prawn masala was really goodπŸ˜ŠπŸ˜‹, but not the fish besara and the mushroom masala was so badπŸ˜…πŸ˜… honestly not expecting.. that we couldn't take one 2nd for the mushroom.. I like saga so ordered individually.. it was average .. overall ok experience as they serve thalis mostly and justify the price and one best thing was in occasions they serves s veg, nonveg and without onion 🌰 garlic food .. sweet☺️ Ambiance according to the Odias .. πŸ˜ƒ

I enjoyed the great authentic Odia food at Hotel Khanti Odia. The culinary experience was top-notch, and the staff were attentive and friendly. However, the ambience left room for improvement. It would be great if the hotel could enhance the atmosphere to match the high quality of its food and service. To top it, the place is budget friendly as well. Overall, a positive experience with potential for even greater appeal.

The food was good , but the management was very poor. Had to wait for around 20-25 mins before I could get a seat, and another 15 mins after I got a seat to place the order. They will charge you extra for everything even if you have ordered thali and ask for extra rice or dal etc they will charge you full..

The ambience is quite nice. The thali structure is definitely inviting, in that being a non vegetarian, I wanted to try their veg thali as it had numerous dishes and varieties to taste. Non veg was as common as tastiest all other thali nothing unique. If you want to taste the odia masalas it's okay for one two time. But eventually the non veg taste remains same , nothing new. The fish churma or crumbled dried small fish fries tasted good. Pakhal bhat which I tried was par from others nearby. Desserts were good and could be given a chance. Apart from that other dishes the taste is good .So one must visit to try the taste.

Food is served only no other request are accepted here . Non veg thali tastes homely and similar taste for every dish served . Food was definitely oily . Staff serving you food are humble but I agree with other reviewer avoid talking with the Cashier not sure if he is owner that's the only unfriendly place which would give bad vibes about the hotel . If he is replaced the place would be amazing for family as well . Carry cash as this is the only place which doesn't understand UPI or card swipe machine exist. Tax purposes !

Although my first experience is not so well in this restaurant, the place is not so bad. They serve quality food with affordable price. Best place located inside Berhampur Town. I have tasted Paneer chilly, paneer pakoda and mushroom chilly. Everything is just nice. But One should visit this place during day time.

The food at the hotel was delicious and awesome. The special veg thali and non veg thali were superb. The taste was so homely that a person can eat there on daily basis. Hotel ambience was good, but at lunch time there was a huge rush.

According to owner you will get different recipe of mutton kassaa...also he said that mutton kassa actually comes with fried onions ...how strange 🀣🀣🀣 It looked like chilli not mutton kassa Also chiken pokoda is not good as per expectation.

I went for lunch and ordered their special non veg thali. It consisted of a small amount of rice, dal, ghanta, 1pc chicken curry, 1pc egg curry, 4pcs chuna macha bhaja, 3pcs of mutton in mutton curry, semiya kheeri. It's priced at 250/-. For the amount they charge they can slightly increase the portion size like they can give at least 2/3pcs of chicken, instead of chuna macha they can give 1pc fish fry. They can give 4pcs of mutton and some potato. Instead of ghanta give aloo bharta or some fry. The taste is good but the portion size is less and they charge extra for rice if you take it. In thalis extra rice and daal are given free in other restaurants.

Well, you have to wait a bit as they have limited occupancy. Do not order any thali that would be a waste. We had mutton curry and tawa fish fry, it was tasty and the price was fair.
