Hotel Moti is a very popular hotel and is located on the main streets of Berhampur. The place is actually famous for its hotel rooms,large banquet rooms and traditional yet new menu restaurant items. We went there yesterday for our dinner with family and we had a 3 course meal. The place had good soup options along with starters such as chicken lollipop,chicken pakoda,chilli baby corn,etc. Unfortunately we did not find any mutton or goat meat options which was disappointing. This was accompanied by crab soup,veg manchow and non manchow soup. The soups were ok ok,I had expectations but it did not go through. The main course was Masala kulcha,chicken butter masala,veg kolhapuri and steam rice ,dal. The curries were good but the kulcha stuffing was not that much. The following thing was dessert and we tried the very popular in house Caramel pudding and there I was disappointed again as the caramel was having running water consistency and then pudding itself was not that settled and firm and wobbly. The service was slow or rather I would say the cooking was slow. Good place but a lot of things need changes and some are great.

It is one of the most premium hotel in the city,with more spacious room, big lawn, garden, big parking lot. One can have a great taste of the various delicious dishes of this hotel. A must go and have a family dining over there. The hospitality of the staffs are very good they are very sober in nature. The owner of the hotel is very down to earth guy always having a pleasant smile on his face

Old hotel. Rooms are big but poorly maintained... Less no of people to serve people. No hot water in bathroom,.boy will fetch it after lot of reminders. Food quality so so.. Staffs are relaxed to serve you...poor management.

Been there for a wedding, the hotel was catering the lunch and dinner menu. The menu was simple but quality of the food served was mediocre at best. For a hotel of this grandeur and history, the expectations were high and sadly they underperformed here. Considering the fact that there are far superior hotels providing the same facility at a far reasonable rate. It is better that you take your business elsewhere. Edit: 21/04/23 was attending an event at Brahmapur and got allocated a room at this hotel and to my pleasant surprise the rooms were decent and the restaurant when functioning at normal capacity was up to standards. The service was decent too. I've updated this post based on the services that I've paid for.

The perfect destination for dessert.. I love their Pudding and i usually visit here just to have this dish.. It's really delicious..

I visited this place to attend a function, haven't tried any food here nor stayed here so don't know much about them... But the place is really good with a lots of space for parking... Many functions are done here as it is comfortable for the people to stay as well as celebrate any occasion at a time at a place.... I will update the review after dining here ☺️...

Good budget hotel. Clean rooms, good service, restaurent is attached with it. Location is also good for known people. Large space with room rent is Rs- 600-800.

The location of this place is very Central and rooms are very spacious with all basic amenities. Service is good. There is a restaurant available.

I went for dinner with my colleagues tonight. The food is without any doubt worth the hype. Biryani is their speciality. But only because of their hospitality and service it deserves a no go. I'd suggest ordering the food online rather than waiting for hours for your food even when the whole restaurant was almost empty.

This is a third class hotel with unclean rooms and washroom. In fact, the worst hotel I have ever stayed in my life. Staying here is a nightmare. Room services are pathetic here.

Never seen such a dirty room .. Price is 2500/- per day. Totally worthless. I awaked at mid night , found that bedbug were biting me... It was a measarable condition for me. Never suggest or recommend any one in my life. It is better to go for a Dharmasala than this one

Managers not properly responding to your query even if u are addressed, catering charges are high while compared to the food. We found carrots in every dish, which tastes sweetness in curry.

One of the oldest star restaurant if berhampur. Food quality is awesome. Definitely i will visit frequently.

Overall nice experience. Good for wedding set up. Interior as well as exterior decoration was good. Rooms are very good and also the room service facilities are good. But washroom are not well maintained even they don't give a hand wash also.

Been visiting this place since last 40 years . Everytime I would order Chicken Bharta, the best I could find anywhere . Dissapointed chicken bharta was not good this time. First time in my 40 years. Hope the Administration take this up seriously and concentrate back on their authentic taste.

Best Location of Berhampur. Food is best and do try butter Nan with chicken maryada. It feels like a 3star hotel whenever you visit.

Nice place to celebrate any functions. Food is great. Parking is there. It should be well maintained from outside, otherwise inside is good. Nice hall for celebrating functions with one outer open space too.

Worst service. We ordered fish 65 and they gave apollo fish. Such a well known hotel but they don't have ice cream flavours except vanilla butter scotch and strawberry🤣🤣🤣no dessert items available.

Low rating because rooms are not clean. Also I found 2 3 cockroaches in the room. Service is fine but bedsheets are not clean. Employee behaviour is also not good. Food was good but slow services. That's why it deserves low rating.

It is the oldest hotel in the city.. New Generation post 90's will not like the ambience, build of it..

It was not manage properly... Water bottle missing and food items also not manage properly. Finally it's a old hotel of Berhampur still maintained same old paint in need to be updated.

Very nice place to have lunch or dinner with family. All the items are delicious. Price is bit higher but will get good quality and quantity of food. Need bit improvement on service.

Don't know where to begin such bad customer service. The manager seemed helpless. For basic amenities such as towels, hand wash and even hot water, you need to request many times. Rooms are spacious, however, they are so dirty and television doesn't work. Blankets provided had stains, which were replaced upon request. It seemed like the hotel didn't bother to prepare the room for our arrival, even though we had informed them that we would be arriving early morning. It took 2hrs to get the morning tea. However on a positive note the food was good.

Can't say much about their services now. Can share the memories &;experience of 35 years back. It was simply awesome. Hopefully the present generation is maintaining the same legacy. Planning to spend a day, if possible, on 31st August 2023 on our way to Gopalpur, and to recap our good old golden memories at this old age. My heartfelt best wishes to the entire family of Hotel Moti, Berhampur and expect the same old touching services for the guests in the years to come.
