The waterfall is 20 meters (66 feet) tall and is surrounded by dense forest, which is home to a variety of wildlife, including elephants, leopards, and monkeys. The Gandahati Waterfall is a popular spot for picnics, hiking, and camping. There is also a small temple dedicated to the goddess Santoshi Maa located near the waterfall. The waterfall is open to the public throughout the year, but it is especially popular during the winter months when the weather is cooler.

I have born and brought up near to this place (3 KM) and I have been seeing this beautiful waterfall since my childhood. The beauty of this fall is increasing day by day.Earlir, it was always been an adventurous journey to reach this fall, but now a days Odisha government took few steps to modernize the surroundings and made a better way to reach. It is locally know as 'Gudguda' waterfall, named after the sound that the water flow makes when it flows over.its situated somewhere in the Eastern Ghats, near the village Gandahathi, and about 30 KM from district headquarters, Paralakhemundi, Gajapathi. It's a very nice place to spend time with friends and family. But the sad reality is that people are destroying the nature and beauty, they made it as an outdoor BAR, spread the alcohol bottles and dust all over the surroundings and they made women uncomfortable who came witness the beauty. On an overall this is a must visit pleace.

Some water flow is still happening in deep summer. Place is surrounded by rocks and trees. A protection wall is present near the pond where water is falling. There is a park available for kids. Visitors choose this place as a picnic spot. Some simple food and fruits are being sold. It is preferable to carry food. Place is clean. In this season as water flow is little people can walk till the water fall. Water flow is much higher in rainy season as expected. You need to exercise more caution. Overall it is a nice place to visit.

Nice waterfall. Must visit in Gajapati District. The road is good also. It has a small bridge to take pictures and enjoy the waterfall closely. I think there is also a way to go to the top of the waterfall from the side of the rock. You have to pay for the parking ticket only.

Gandahati Waterfall, a pristine natural wonder, is situated on the Mahendratanaya River in the enchanting Gajapati District of Southern Odisha, India. Located approximately 30 kilometers away from the town of Paralakhemundi, it is a hidden gem amidst the lush landscapes of the region. To reach this captivating destination, one can access the Paralakhemundi railway station, which serves as the nearest railhead. Moreover, for those traveling from slightly farther locations, Palasa, located 44 kilometers away from Paralakhemundi, offers an alternative railway station option. Gandahati Waterfall beckons adventure enthusiasts, nature lovers, and wanderers with its cascading waters that create a soothing and picturesque environment. The journey to this tranquil retreat is an experience in itself, as visitors navigate through the scenic beauty of Southern Odisha, making it a must-visit destination for those seeking a serene escape into the heart of nature.

I recently visited Gandahati Waterfall in Gajapati, Odisha and I must say, it was an absolutely amazing experience. The waterfall is situated amidst lush green forests and the scenery is breathtakingly beautiful. To reach the waterfall, we had to trek for about half an hour through a forest trail. The trek itself was quite enjoyable as we were surrounded by nature at its best. The sound of the gushing water from the waterfall could be heard from a distance and as we approached closer, the excitement grew. Upon reaching the waterfall, we were spellbound by its sheer beauty. The water was cascading down from a height of about 30 feet and the view was mesmerizing. The cool breeze that swept across the waterfall made it a perfect

This place in Gajpati district is truly amazing. We have been enjoying ourselves nicely. The distance between Paralakhemundi and this location is 60 km. The feeling of name is identical to that of gender and Haiti🤣🤣🤣. 1. Good entrance 2. Wonderful water fall 3. Also a good picnic spot 4. Good location for free your mind

Very nice place to visit during winter. You can take bath without any fear. Easily you can enjoy with friends and family for a day. But you have to carry your own food. Nothing is available. Police are deputed to keep the people in limits. Thanks to Odisha govt.

Very nice place to visit with family and friends. Sarounded by beautiful mountains with well connected roads from Palasa, AP and also from Parlakhemundi, Odisha. It's having a children's park also. Peoples are coming here with food and all stuff like a picnic spot. You can find some snacks and icecream shops here. Sunday is very crowded. Bike parking available. From parking place to waterfall is just 100 mtr long with concrete road. A man made bridge increases the beauty of the fall.

The best waterfall near Paralakhemundi, Gajapati. It's located about 25 KM from Paralakhemundi. Best time to visit between 8am to 5pm. From road point you need to take a village road towards Waterfall. The road is very narrow, rough and zigzag. No nearby petrol pump or any Kirana shop. So plan your visit with sufficient fuel and food and first aid. Best season is summer as you can enjoy waterfall and can take shower with less water. Rainy days may be danger as there is no support given. For car it's 100 and Bike 50 entry fee. No entry fees for individuals.

Heavy water fall(Sep end) Magical to watch and listen Enroute road is a bit patchy in some places. 4-wheeler can be taken(moderate difficulty) Parking toll is collected just before the falls. Well maintained park just annex to the falls.

Amazing place. Here is the waterfall of 5 miters (approximately) height which looks very beautiful and the water molecules which hit to the stone falls near about 7 meters away that feel everybody cool that i really like. Again there was a pond for bathing for the people. Government has baned not to use alcohol at the ecological park. There was also a park which has various types to play not only for the children but also for the everyone. Thanks

Visited during the peak monsoon. The sound and amount of water gushing from the waterfall was astounding. The location of the waterfall is quite interior but it is worth a visit during the peak monsoon when the water levels are at their peak. People also take a bath in the waters and it's quite a fun
