The ambience of the restaurant is so classy and beautiful. Food is delicious, specially biriyani and kebabs. Service is really good and prompt. Staffs are very well behaved.

Came on on Saptami 2022 afternoon after Royal Indian Restaurant failed to give us tables despite other customer getting a seat before us, despite coming after us. We came it, there was no receptionist but he came fast and guided us to the right floor. The place is not too big but looks awesome from Inside. To pur surprise, they had a Buffet for a very good price! It had all the items we could possibly try. From Chicken and Fish starters, to biryani and chicken kasha, etc, they had all of it. Starter Service was a bit slow, as I asked for a repeat but they forgot about it and remembered when they saw my face looking at them. Chicken Tikka Kebab (9/10): Delicious! Perfectly cooked, fresh chicken, very juicy and adequately spicy. Fried Fish (10/10): This was too soft and perfect! Kept asking them to repeat this again and again. I will come back for this!! Crispy Corn(7/10): A bit salty but good. Very close to the BBQ nation ones. Tandoori Aloo(2/10): I don't prefer potatoes in starters as potatoes don't absorb much flavour from the spices/marinade. Chicken Biryani(8/10): A light biryani, and it was served on the counter rice separate, potato and chicken separate. The chicken in it was a bit hard, but potatoes were well cooked. Good quality rice, aromatic and tastes good. A bit low on salt, which I added later and tasted perfect! Chicken Kasha(7/10): Pretty decent. Expected a stronger tasting gravy as it is a Kasha but some butter masala. It tasted closer to reshmi butter masala and rezala rather than Chicken Kasha. Sorshe Fish Gravy(6.5/10): This is a Rohu/Rui curry, tasted average to decent. Fish was well cooked but very small cuts. Also it had ran out before I got it on my plate and it was out for quite a long while before they refilled. Gulab Jamun(7.5/10): It tasted very good, but expected hot gulab jamun, but it was normal temperature. Vanilla Frozen Dessert: The only option they had, not happy. It is from Kwality walls hence it's Frozen dessert, not ice cream. But it went well with the Gulab Jamun

A sudden find on the way while heading toward some other resturant! Well we have some branded chain restaurants who serve similar dishes, though the food here was much better in terms of quality.... The ambiance was also nice... The location also prime, if I have to sum up... Tasty food, good ambiance and nice staff to attend you... Oh yes I found the price 10% on the higher side!

Elahi Luxury Dining is one of the finest luxury dining lounges I've been to. The service is impeccable, the food is delectable and the ambience is nothing short of beautiful. Special Mutton Biryani:- Medium spicy, flavorful, with a huge chunk of Biryani aloo and an even larger chunk of mutton shank.

One of the best Biriyani buffets of Kolkata The ambience & decor is quite charming. Behavior of the staff here is also quite friendly. Buffet had quite a notable Items,which are- Akbari Chicken Fish Hariyali kebab Chicken Awadhi Qorma Fish Qalia Mutton Biriyani(great) Timing is from 12pm to 5 p.m & one and half hours for having the buffet per table. Buffet in a cheap price. Must try. Nice experience 👍

A good restaurant if you are looking for Mughlai or Awadhi food.. I've tried their galouti kebab which was above average, rather good one; as well as tried their nalli biryani which comes with knee portion of mutton, the mutton piece was so juicy and delicious, whereas the rice portion was average... Their services were prompt and very good and the the ambience was also very good.. And yes, they have buffet options too but only at lunch time..

Atlast found a restaurant which serve authentic Calcutta dum biriyani.We went for a lunch at this restaurant, and ordered mutton gaulati kabab and staffed chicken tangri kabab.The taste of the kababs are top notch, perfectly cooked, juicy inside. The showstopper of the show was the mutton dum biryani, appetizing smell of that biriyani was a treat to the mouth and well balanced. They also have buffet system but we took à la carte.The amibiance also good👍.

Ordered in their special kolkata mutton dum biryani through swiggy. The biryani is very light, super tasty, had more than 2 pcs of meat and had amazing flavours. The best part is that it's not at all greasy and oily, like some other popular biryani joints. I would give it 10/10 and hope they keep the quality consistent.

So, I've been seeing a lot of odd/bad reviews about Elahi on, Zomato but as far my experience stands it's still one of the best fine dining mughlai cuisine restaurant in Kolkata. This month alone I visited here twice, one was on 1st of Jan - dinner and other one was Last Sunday for buffet and both the times my expectations were satisfied. The Cost for two persons dinning is approx 1500 wheather it's a buffet or normal dine in. The staff behaviour is good and the food is phenomenal. The biriyani and Nalli Kebab (the mutton is so soft, you can simply cut it using a spoon only) is the best in Kolkata hands down. Whoever is reading I suggest you visit this place at least once. Beautiful ambiance, music, comfortable seating they've nailed it. Except for the fact that the parking is done on road and the restaurant is at 1st floor, with stairs is the only option.

Awesome place. Foods were great. specially chicken. Crispy corn is okay. One draw back is for the starter the plate which they provide is bit small. And also no mutton is there. Only chicken and fish item in non veg. Gulab jamun is also ok. Main attraction is chicken starters. Buffet timing is also tight.

The kebabs are tender, juicy, and packed with flavors with just the right amount of spice. If you are a chicken person, we'd totally recommend the Chicken Jahangiri Tikka but if mutton is your thing, then the Mutton Nizami Tikka aur the Mutton Reshmi Makhmali Tikka is what we think you should opt for. We tried the Chicken Do Pyaaza too and loved it! Order a Butter Naan or, even better, a lachcha paratha along with it and you're sorted. The Mutton Biryani is to-die-for - fragrant and just the right kind of moist. The mutton pieces were succulent and flavorful - easily one of the best biryanis we've eaten in a long long time.
