Good place to hang out. Service is good and food is also nice. But I believe that the food is a little overpriced. Hookah is also available, but you have to take it in Hookah room only so that others can enjoy food without smoke. It is located near BBQ nations in RDB.

No lies, one of the best french fries I had in long time. Tried different burgers, sandwiches, chilli baby corn, all were equally good. The patty used in burger was so fresh and tender that you'd have nothing to complaint about. Mocktails were also good. They also got Hookah and alcohol you can enjoy. Pocket friendly and worth the money. On top that there's a buffet scheme too you can check. Staff service is on-point. The cafe comes with adequate seating space and a dim light theme to enjoy your food with. Would definitely recommend you to visit.

We ordered two buffets a veg and a non-veg both of them were the same price below 700, so it was in the budget and the food was really good, it was served hot and the service was really good. Although they have fewer items in the veg section for startes but it was worth it. Worth a visit will visit again.

It is not at all easy to satisfy the palate of every customer walking into a restaurant. Mostly it is found that restaurants serving buffet where the menu is vast , fail to perfect most items in the event of trying to cover multiple cuisines on their menu. The task is difficult and often left undone. But here in Chai Break all my misconceptions were changed. Hardly I have experienced a buffet under 700 which serves over 25 items that too where all the items are so consistent in terms of flavours. Be it the vegetarian dishes or the non vegetarian ones nothing can be labelled superior to the other. In the starters , the chilly chicken dry and the fried chicken ( both boneless) were my stars of the show. The perfect crunch on every bite of fried chicken will definitely impress you and the subtle kick of spices from the dry chilly chicken will tantalise your tastebuds. Besides the kebabs, the wings and even the veg preparations were too good and I couldn’t resist myself from repeating few of those. After the massive start , expectations were too high and the main course lives upto it. Specially the mutton rogan josh with biryani were the show stealer. I didn’t hesitate to refill my plate with some more mutton and little bit of the biryani. When you have such star performers , the others might not be as good, yet your show will hit but here the case wasn’t such. Even the mixed sauce pasta was delicious and deserves special mention. The Chinese preparations , be it the pawns or the veg manchurian along with noodle are worth a try and they won’t disappoint either. Every dish has been prepared with utmost care. Things should always end well and on a sweet note. Desserts according to me play a vital role in every buffet. Here the dessert spread is neither too small not huge yet every item is worth a try. The brownies along with a scoop of vanilla ice cream is just enough for me. Although you also have gulab jamun , baked mihidana and cream caramel. This is one such buffet that you should never miss and the place mostly remains jam packed as it is in a very busy place so prior reservation should help your seamless dining experience.

Chai break is located opposite to ocean grill near RDB boulevard thus having a very prominent location providing access to all sorts of public transport. Not only a good location but also it provides one with a wide variety of food options starting from biriyani to pizza. Also one can get alcohol and hookah options at quite reasonable rates. The food quality is pretty good with a nice ambience for people of all kinds. The staff is quite polite and the service is moderate. Loved the place and it is highly recommended to everyone. The mocktails and desserts are just mesmerizing. The biriyani is not that good else pizza and all are fine. So if you want little refreshment with friends , this is the place. Visited this one and it was just a wonderful experience here. The ambiance was amazing and food was very delicious, the music was perfect not to loud and not to slow. Now coming to the food we had : Welcome Drinks : Thums Up, Sprite, Masal Soda, Fresh Lime Soda. You can choose any one from this list. Soup : Chicken Manchow Soup. Nicely decorated place with tasty food. The nonveg buffet price is 549 per head. It might seems too costly but the items are very good, price worthy. I don't say all the items are 10/10 but can sure say some are more than 10 out of 10 and very few are less than 10. Both starter and main course are great!

Had the non veg buffet here. Absolutely spot on when it comes down to the price we had to pay for it. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Absolutely worth it :) P.S - I lost count of the number of starters they provided me. They even provided pizza in the veg buffet section. I am writing to express my disappointment with the experience my friends and I had during our visit to Chai Break yesterday. We had previously booked a party for 18+6 people for a buffet dinner, with an advance booking made on September 14th, 2023. We were eagerly looking forward to a pleasant evening. However, upon arrival, we were informed by the restaurant manager that instead of a buffet, our food would be served at the table, to which I agreed. Unfortunately, this change didn't meet our expectations. The issues began with the starters; they were served in very small quantities, and we had to request multiple times for refills, which was not in line with our booking for a buffet. The biggest disappointment came during the main course. There was a significant delay between the serving of different dishes. For example, Biryani was served at 9 PM, and Chicken Kasa was served approximately 20 minutes later. To our dismay, two of my friends had to leave the party as they did not receive any food even after waiting for more than 30 minutes. I must convey my deep disappointment in front of my friends due to your team's inability to handle the service for just 25 people, especially when I had made the reservation a day in advance. With sincere regret, I feel compelled to express my disappointment. I hope you understand that I am writing this feedback to help improve your service. If your team is unable to manage such bookings, I kindly request that you consider not accepting them. There are many other restaurants offering similar pricing with better service, allowing people to enjoy their parties without any inconvenience. I appreciate your attention to this matter and hope to see an improvement in the future.

Review for Chai Break Buffet - The price of this buffet (weekend) - 750/- (all inclusive). Starter items are very good. These are served on table. In starter both veg items and non veg items were awesome. Apart from starters there are some delicious items in main course as well. But items are very less compared to other buffets. Dessert sections are also very well designed. Overall it was a quite nice experience and perfect place to have lunch/dinner with friends or families.

One of the Best Buffet in Kolkata..First of all the menu changes per day but the quality remains unchanged..the starters are served on table..main course and dessert in buffet..the food is amazing and ambience is extraordinary.. recommend to book before..

I personally liked the ambiance in the bar.🥰 Visited there last saturday on 27th Nov, 2021. As I have recently coverted myself to vegan, I found this place to be awesome for every vegans😋. Each dishes are pocket friendly 🤑 with maximum comes in vegan by default and if you want that to be non vegetarian 🤤 then you can addon your choice of non-veg item to it (best part). 😍 I dropped one less star for this restaurant because of poor 👎stock management on beers. Although they had a good option on pint beers with exclusive offers if you choose a bucket of it 👌 Coming to foods, we chose veg mexican wrap with french fries, chicken bbq, chicken greek salad as starter with kingfisher premium lager beer bucket. Post that on main course we chose veg lasagne and that was more than enough for two people.. As a whole it costed around 2000 rupees with alcohol for two of us. 😎🥳

If you get bored eating in Barbeque Nations for multiple times then you can try it for a change. However, NO comparison with B-Nations. They have same way of limited yet tasty starters and ends with buffet lunch with all varities you can think of. Pocket friendly when compared with B-Nations. I don't know where all visitors are parking!! I was lucky to remove a cycle a distant and made my space. Otherwise, office goers in sector V, it's easy, stone throw distance from sector V offices - in the Boulevard road. Never tasted the Chai though. For me, I never felt to visit it second time.

Amazing ambience and hospitality during peak hours. We hit the place during a late night on Sunday. Foods and beverages was superb. The staffs were very cooperative and friendly. Depsite of us being late at night they assured that our menus will be served at proper time. One will also find different types of mocktails along with cocktails and hookah.

Service is good. Food is good too. Though, I liked starters more than the main course. Alcohol is not included in buffet. If you wanna order, ask the price first. Because I ordered a Breezer which had a price tag of 110/- but I was charged for 245/-. Don't know why 150% extra.

It was a friends gathering there and we ordered some basic stuff and it was okayish and the staff were listening but I don’t think they are capable of understanding what exactly the need we had, my friend asked something regarding pizza bread but they were clueless and my friend gave up and ordered anyways after that I was upset about the fact they didn’t put enough cheese in cheese garlic bread 😂 and when we asked and went out for a smoke they just added mayonnaise instead In fact i felt it was the pasta sauce. We asked them to put some cheese 🧀 but I guess they were very unprofessional, idk about what name chai break have, my experience was very bad and was very unsatisfactory and paying an amount more than 3k that i do regret very much. I would rather go to a small place and they have enough manners to treat their customers in a fair way, idk who put mayonnaise when asked for cheese 🧀 I’m giving it a star because i just feel sad about the fact that i felt very bad that i suggested to my friends to meet up there. So to sum up the who experience is not recommended if you’re really going for a good time with good food.

Cheap rates. Nice ambience and comfortable spacious seating arrangements. Best part is 1st refill of hookah is free of cost. Standard big sized beer bottles are available. Food quality is good. Buffet service has been lifted.

Ambience is good , a perfect place to enjoy buffet. Food was delicious and value for money , service was good. Staff should work on their hospitality services , as we were asked to shift to another table while having our food. This was highly unexpected .
