One of the best Street food restaurants in Kolkata. If you visit Zakaria Street then you should try their Chicken Changezi (Deep Fried Chicken) (Price 540 per kg you can order by gram). that taste very well. You can also try their Mahi Akbari ( Deep Fried Fish). Their Lassi And Faluda Taste delicious. Their service is also good.

If you are visiting Zakaria street during ramzan don't dare to miss this place. They take UPI and the behaviour of staff and management is very nice. So coming to food, I ordered changezi chicken which was very unique and flavourful. There was a "chatpata" flavour which was adding to the flavour of chicken. I also had Afghani chicken which was of creamy texture and it melted in mouth. The chicken was soft and filled with cream. I also had faluda which was unfortunately not cold and they informed me still I insisted it was very nice as well but if it would have been cold then I would have been more happy. Don't miss this place in Kolkata during ramzan.

We tried Chicken taimuri, chicken changezi and Mahi akbari...all dishes are mouth watering. Also, behaviour of shopkeeper is very nice. We missed faluda that time but will have next time.

One of the best eateries in zakaria street. The best thing is that they have a secret sitting place up top. Most people just sit on the roadside table to eat. Afghani and peshwari chicken are a must. The biryani is average and dalda is used which is no good. The changezi chicken is good but not that special.

Food was great. We had murgh changezi. it was a fried type of chicken but with a special spice mix. taste is good. But service is average. May be it is due to Ramzaan crowd. they served very very late.

Visited this place for the 1st time during this Ramzaan month. Tried their Murgh Changezi and Falooda. The Changezi was really lipsmacking, but pricewise the falooda was not up to the mark.

ZAKARIA STREET is famous for its food specially in this month of Ramadan or Ramzan. So , yesterday we went to taste the foods there😍. We reached there around 7 pm , the place was filled with crowds and was also filled with mesmerizing smell of different foods 😄😍 📌 Taskeen - it's just beside Dilli 6 , We ordered here 1 quarter chicken changezi ( 8-9 pieces) , price - 160/- and faluda , price - 70/- The taste of chicken changezi was too good , the spices were well blended with the chicken 😋 , faluda was extremely refreshing in this hot weather , it's a must try there 😍

This is a very popular food joint located in Zakaria Street , just in front of Nakhoda Mosque. During Ramadan, there is a steep increase in the crowd visiting this eatery. But I personally believe it's not only a place which should be visited during Eid but also a place for a promenade in normal days as well. The items I tried in Taskeen: •Peshawari Muragghan •Sheermal ( a sweetened bread ) •Falooda •Taskeen's lassi •Fish Mahi Akbari The most famous dish here is Chicken Changezi ( not tried )and Fish Mahi Akbari. But both of them are actually overhyped. On contrary, the least popular items taste quite good. The biggest negative side here is that everything is super expensive which actually failed to match with the quality , henceforth not worth it at all.

Let me guide you to the place through the metro. Central metro *Gate no 5* would be close to the place. It’s an inner world leaving behind the main roads. Reality check(maybe unpopular opinion)—- Not only this restaurant but all the eateries around it are just overhyped with the promotional stuff going around with the name of blogging or vlogging. The staff is well behaved tbh but the dining condition is very unhygienic and crowded which is also coupled with long queues of peer pressure induced people coming in for the result of successful marketing campaigns/blogging. The food is not up to the mark as compared to the price. The gravy in Peshwari chicken is wholesome but the chicken is dull. ( a photo is attached ) I would suggest you go somewhere else for getting more tasteful kebabs than just following the trend in the city. For one time visit, you could try your time but that wouldn’t give you much satisfaction saying this from a foodie (not food blogger) standpoint. You could pack your food and take that away. All the best in your endeavour.

Next destination is Dilli 6 Lagoa Taskeen. 3 more items were taken from here. Fish Mahi Akbari (quarter ₹ 210), Chicken changezi (quarter ₹ 160), Falooda (₹ 70) Taskeen's faluda full lajabab which will not talk about boss. The changezi tower is pretty good, but the fish itself seemed to be nothing more than homemade fried catla fish.

Just had their faluda yesterday. It was quite good to be honest. But ₹60 for that one small glass is a bit much. But the taste is good though.

A bit overhyped to start with.... Yes, truly, that's what I felt... Everyone was just postering everywhere to try the Chicken Changezi from Taskeen.... But what I felt after having the Chicken Changezi Fry, it's Okay...!! Similar stuffs are available in many of the Food Joints across Kolkata for sure... But yes the environment is surreal, specially at the time of Ramzan, bustling around.... On Rating Board :- Quality - 3/5 Quantity - 5/5 Pocket Pinch - 5/5 Ambience - Had to grab and hold a chair on the streets Service - 5/5 Overall, do visit have their dishes atleast once, yes one thing is commendable is the way they are providing and maintaining orders... Service is damn quick considering the queue... Do make sure your partners are holding the tables or chairs while you are placing the orders 🤪

Owner ki Jabaan bahut ghatiya/gandii/wahiyat hai. Very rude owner. Not having a penny respect for customers. When we asked politely that why is he being rude (the matter being that we made upi payment for our item on the displayed QR code present at their table. Then he started shouting that we were required to pay cash only.) He started shouting and talking arrogantly and started blaming us for being talking rudely. And even his falooda was not upto the mark. Go to dilli 6 just beyond his shop for a good food. If you can't locate dilli 6 then feel free to ask the taskin shop owner for dilli 6 location. He may not bite you.

Had kebabs in so many different places but this place was memorable. So much crowd and noise on 19th April. Kebabs-8/10 One thing I hate, few were fried.

Though I heard good things but my personal experience was very bad. Food is not hygienic and value for money. Test is less average, didn't expect that. They fried chicken in the same oil, which was turned black color . Outside of chicken is over fry in my case. After such experience with two items, we didn't try many items.

High quality food, esp kababs genuine stuff. Ambience or restaurant space not upto the mark, staff is very well behaved except the main Malik or owner who sits at the chair as head. He needs to be bit more gentle

Fried fish is specialty here; we had the opportunity to experience the Ramzan crowd on Zakaria St and navigate through packed crowd to reach the outlet, stand in the queue, pay and then wait for 15-20 more minutes to grab our order. Raw and marinated fish steaks are sold on weight, then deep fried. Tasteful, but not remarkable as per my expectation. The fish became dry and salty, which somehow didn’t let the flavor to flourish. Overall, memorable experience.

A place serving really innovative food like the faluda mix and the changezi chicken. Both were equally wonderful to taste. The chicken seemed a bit too oily and the lower part of the faluda seemed watery, but otherwise both the items were awesome.

Location: On Zakaria St, closest metro station is Central. It's a 10mins walk through narrow lanes from Central metro. Ambience: Couple of tables on the footpath, basic clean, shabby waiter. There's a small ac room upstairs. Open kitchen on the footpath, no washroom, the basin is on the footpath. Service: Only packaged drinking water available, service is fast, nobody will give you the bill, you need to go to the cash counter and pay. Ordered: * Falooda: The desserts were kept in a fridge on the footpath, falooda was served in a glass, was a nice mix of creamy saffron milk and small pieces of noodles, excellent taste, Rs 80. Overall, very good dessert. Highly recommended!

Went to zakaria street during the month of ramadan and spotted this shop with a huge line. Service was taking way too long and it was pretty disorganized. Though one can say that due to roza the cooks were doing everything slow and maybe they are right. But I did not like the behaviour of the shopkeeper who kept acting as if they don't care if customers don't buy from there. Anyways food tasted okayish and to be honest delhi 6 which was just beside this tastes much better. We had chicken peshawari gravy and chicken changezi dry along with roomali roti. Roti was not at all good and peshwari tasted average. Changezi was really bad and undercooked. Saw lots of vloggers hyping up this place. Not upto the mark.

I had ordered Chicken Changezi and Faluda. Both were delicious. But the fact that there is barely any space in the shop to eat and I had to basically eat on a table and chair directly on roadside was the only con.

Went there at 12 pm when the shop was opening. We tried their famous falooda . It was awesome. The old man at the cash box added something on the top of the glass of falooda . The taste and quality both were excellent. The quantity was also good. The price was 80 rupees per glass.

Zakaria Street has recently gained a lot of hype, so as per the recommendations of few of the vloggers i watched I went there to try it out. The crowd is something that's really frustrating but whatever it be, it was all worth it. Starting from the quality of food being served to the point where it's irresistible to try a little more it has taken me to an awestruck feeling of delight and hunger. However, the shops are mostly opens almost through the year now I guess for someone who wants to they them out should definitely pay a visit.

Went to this outlet today. Tasted the faluda which was good. But at Rs 70 it is definitely overpriced. I also ordered chicken changazi which is their signature item. A quarter cost me 195 which is again overpriced I wanted to take some pictures to which the boy serving objected and his behaviour was quite rude to be honest. Lastly being an officer of consumer affairs department I was surprised to see no printed bill is given. Very strange indeed My experience is it is definitely overhyped. Sorry but waiting 40 minutes for an order is too much.

If you want to come for vives come in ramzan, It is highly crowded with festive mood during this month.Getting seat in this time is hard. If for taste come in another time of month . Try Murg Changezi that is made very well here. You can also try the Thick Lassi and Faluda here. We tried malai chicken with romali rooti that was also quite good but Dilli 6 is more famous for this dish. Must try items: Murg Changezi,Lassi,Faluda
