Fantastic experience! All of the vehicles on display were immaculate and this review will do it no justice. Friendly and helpful staff, nobody rushing us along or looking for us to buy an add-on. Great gift shop! Seriously, this is a place that I will be coming back to again, with more friends and family to share in the wonder and awe that is this time capsule / new archive of automobiles ranging over a century. Our experience lasted about 1.25 hours. * If you can, try out all of the furniture scattered throughout the museum *

A dream come true for any car enthusiast. Husband was in absolute heaven. Staff was super friendly, even walked us around after greeting us to get us started. Lot of cool cars. Fun few hours spent here. Gift shop had a lot of toy/model cars (modern and classic, all manufacturers). Spent a good while looking for mini versions of our own cars to take home.

This is a fun museum. It is well laid out and the cars are spread apart with no barriers around the cars. The collection is 1950s and up with a great selection of Mustangs and Corvettes. They have several Italian super cars and a Porsche room as well. Nice place worth the admission. The employees are passionate about their work here.

I highly recommend a visit to this place, whether you're a car enthusiast or not. It offers multiple themed rooms featuring various car brands like Corvettes, Mustangs, Mopar, Porsche, and more. I spent around 2 hours exploring the exhibits and browsing the gift shop. Additionally, they offer a student discount, making it even more appealing for younger visitors.

An awesome experience that friends, family, and any car enthusiast will enjoy. The vehicles are kept impeccably clean and the floor plan is perfect for getting up close and personal with the cars on display. You are allowed to take photos and parking is not an issue. Highly recommended for car enthusiasts alike!

Located about 5 miles north of Newport Bridge, this museum features a very large collection of over 90 modern and classic cars. The building has multiple galleries that really tell the history behind great vehicles such as Ford / Shelby Cars and Corvettes. It was cool to see many exhibits featuring graphics, and videos to highlight the background behind the cars.

Visited Newport car museum today and the place was way above my expectations! It is a great museum if you are interested in exotic classic American cars, American muscles and some classic old European cars. The museum features fast and furious 5 car and shelby’s car too. Stuff are super friendly and the gift shop is fabulous!

Newport Car Museum is the perfect activity for car lovers and those who love them. There are about 55 stunning vintage and modern automobiles displayed at a time. Not only are you able to admire the gorgeous collections, but there are amazing videos explaining the models very interesting history. All the cars are kept in immaculate condition. Take a moment and enjoy the  unique seating in section. Ask for Vince when you arrive he's not only friendly but extremely informative. You are allowed to explore at your leisure and take photos as long as you don't touch the cars. You will find yourself getting lost in this mesmerizing auto world.

Great museum! It too is around 1 hour to get through the whole museum. Great post 50s car selection, great staff, and a hidden gem is the interior furniture. The gift shop is amazing as well! It’s $18 for an hour plus which to me is fair. They are also kid friendly with a clean and convenient baby changing room. Overall I say this is well worth the time and great for all ages.

A really great automotive museum, showcasing a private collection of amazing machines all under one roof. The fact that the owner chose to share their collection of supercars, muscle cars, fin cars, etc. to the public to enjoy deserves much gratitude and respect! Plan your trip well and visit during 'hoods up' weekend to be able to view the engines too! The staff are super helpful and the gift shop is great with items for both adults and children. Well worth a visit!

Such a great collection of cars! It was so much fun looking at the old and new cars! The hall of mustangs was my husband's favorite part! Also the staff was very knowledgeable about the cars. They informed us that they continue to add to the collection so we plan on going back to see what's been added! Highly recommend going here if you like cars or even history! The cars are gorgeous!

An excellent hidden gem that is a must visit for any car enthusiast in this area. Lots of rare modern cars and classics. This museum has a nice layout, is easy to walk through, and informative. You can tell the cars are well taken care of.

This place was so cool! We came here thinking we'd just waste some time one afternoon during our stay in Newport and ended up spending so much time that we shut the place down! So many awesome cars to see and read about their histories. You don't have to be a car enthusiast to enjoy your time here but you do need to be able to appreciate a nice car. Otherwise you might be a little bored.

Spectators unite! The Newport car museum makes for a lovely day lolly-gagging around oogling at classics. I was however disappointed that the museum quality cars had their hoods closed, still satisfied with the collection. An entire wing dedicated to Carroll Shelby (I walked through 3 times), fins, porsches, vettes, jags, there is something for everyone, if not you'll find it in the gift shop. I'd go back.anytime.

In my personal opinion, what makes a museum like this a beauty? Location! Every car and every history of it is a beautiful combination of space lights and a well located museum with such incredible workers and a great car collection , classic modern and my favorite one, the plymouth 1970! A must in the beautiful Rhode island state place to visit!

I brought my son here for his 16’th birthday. We had such an amazing time. Thank you to Glen and everyone else that went out their way to make my son’s birthday of the best birthdays he ever had! My son left there so happy and is so appreciative of what Glen did for him. This place has a beautiful collection of cars and amazing staff. I can’t wait to come back to this place!!

I’m a huge car enthusiast and it was awesome to come here on Father’s Day and check out everything they had. They also had a special going on that allowed fathers to get in for free. Only thing that disappointed me was one room was closed and it had some of my favorite cars in there.

Very nice. We were driving through the area for the first time ever and seen museum and stopped. So happy we did. Large collection of cars and each have a personal meaning to the owner. Highly recommend.

Visited the Newport Car Museum and was pleasantly surprised! It is bigger than it appears from the road and much nicer inside than expected. This private collection features some seriously nice cars from historic to exotic. The collection features American muscle, classic 50's fin cars, and even supercars, as well as foreign cars too. Each car features information placards and art work/video montages. The museum offers plenty of free parking, reasonable admission fees and neat gift shop. If you are a car fan, you will enjoy spending some time there.

I'm practically speechless! 😶 What an amazing collection of rare, beautiful cars! A sheik, yet comfortable, and visitor friendly environment! One of my new favorite places!

All I have to say is WOW- This place was spectacular! Took my boyfriend out here for his birthday, and what a treat for us both. Both being car lovers, this was absolutely well worth the money. $20 admission and free parking is SUCH a tiny price to pay for what lies inside. A beautiful collection of over 90 cars, something for everyone. We had a blast looking at them all. They don’t let you touch them, but they’re not roped off so you can get close and see inside. There’s too much to say so I’ll keep it short and just say GO SEE IT!! :)

Not a car aficionado, but took some visitors to see the museum. I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed our visit. The museum is large, well laid out, clean and very modern. So many cars to view, very well worth the trip.

A quick stop on our way out of town. NOT! We spent 2 hours and could have stayed longer. The mint cars were a pleasure to look at. The informational videos in each room made this quite educational. We highly recommend this when you have at least 2 hours to browse. Oh! If you are pulling an RV, there is plenty of parking for you while you visit the museum. We pulled up along the back of the parking lot. :-) Cheers!

Such an awesome collection of rare cars hidden here in the smallest state in the country. There’s a section for so many auto makers and something in the museum will guarantee to make you say “oooh look at that”. If you have an hour to kill it’s worth checking out

The layout of the museum is amazing and is easy to walk around. Great cars in awesome condition with a nice environment around them. (Themed rooms like ford, corvettes, mopar, etc) Would recommend

This place is fantastic. I was there on a Thursday so I felt like I had the place to myself. Big parking lot which could mean a crowd on peak days. Exhibits were so well laid out I forgot to take pictures in every room. Worth the price of admission if you enjoy looking at near perfect specimens of these machines.

A great collection of cars. But they also have a ton of unique CHAIRS scattered around the display rooms. 😂 Plus a really cute dog chilling at the ticket booth. Extensive gift shop, nice bathrooms, and friendly staff.

We weren’t sure what to expect…what an awesome place! It’s not your average car museum…it’s an artistic experience. From the moment you walk in you can tell how much attention has been paid to every detail. And the staff couldn’t be friendlier! Highly recommend!

I've been here twice so far and I absolutely love it! This past weekend was hoods open weekend which made it all the more interesting. If you appreciate any type of car from an old Challenger to a brand new Demon this is definitely the place for you. Incredibly clean, amazing setting for photos, and affordable! Great date out, family friendly, or just to go have some fun.
