So beautiful! Best beach I have ever been too! The water is so blue and the sand is like sugar. Amazing! Must get there early for a parking spot. Bathrooms and other amenities available.

Absolutely gorgeous beach! We spent the whole day here, it is not very crowded, there are free showers and changing rooms, the restaurant on the beach serves good fresh food at a reasonable price. In one word: beautiful!

This beach is in my top 5. I loved the volleyball, the restaurant/bar in the sand with live music, and the cloud formations rising high over the setting sun which was gorgeous, romantic and 5 stars all by itself. Hands down though, the best thing was the water. Clear, warm, shallow for a long way out with plenty of waves breaking for my fearless grandson to have a ball without a huge undertow. I didn't want to leave but the drive off Anna Marie island requires patience and a sense of adventure. Plenty of parking makes it easy to dawdle in the parking lot for a pre-drive snack and a bit of people watching. A perfect spot to stroll down the beach and pop the question as the sun set slowly.

Beautiful beach. Calm water, beautiful water, gorgeous Florida sunset. Makes you proud to be an American. Crazy parking. No shells, if you’re into that. Very busy beach. Even in February, packed. Changing area and ample restrooms. Good showers. Lots of shade. Nice picnic area. But big loud parties , not a fan. Also, next time please pick up after yourselves. Traffic getting in and out was bumper to bumper. Again this is in February. I can’t imagine in the summer. Lots of seagulls who beg for your snacks. No other wildlife .

This is a good beach for a weekend trip. Nice sand, and the water wasn't too rough. If you want to park, you must arrive early because it gets packed after 10 am. If you're staying close to the water, it's better to walk if you can or get some bikes. The golf karts, while convenient, still have parking issues. Lots of good places to eat but not the cheapest.

Absolutely loved this beach! The water was so clear and blue. The sand was powder perfect. The atmosphere was very laid back. My kids had a great time. Try to get here early to find a good parking spot.

Excellent to spend a day at the beach! You can find few restaurants and some souvenir shops. It has a large parking lot although on weekends it gets very crowded.

Could not be more disappointed to hear that they will ruin this vintage beach spot with a huge parking garage. Go while it's still fun and quaint. Parking is everywhere. Fun food and entertainment. I miss the drum circle..can get crowded.

Very good beach, although the level of sea shells crumbled with the beautiful fine quartz sand has increased since my last visit 5 years ago. Still is a beautiful beach, with nice width and white sand. It is just hard to find a parking spot, so one must be persistent and creative without using private parking spots.

Free parking, with a lot of it in the shade, picnic tables, showers and changing rooms! The food at the restaurant was great and of course, just a walk away from the soft sand beach. We also liked that there was a publics just up the street in case we forgot/needed something. Loved the "locals only" feel it gave off. This may have become our new favorite place!

Had a great family day here! I don't get to the beach much so I don't have super high requirements for a good beach experience, but it was clean, plenty of room to stretch out and a nice snack/food stand available. The water was perfect, just the relaxing scene we all needed! Oddly we all forgot our bathing suits but still got in the water!

Amazing beach, I live in Sarasota and usually go to the beaches here, but after going to Anna Maria Island , definitely changing my mind, AMI is much better, we had a great time, very happy atmosphere!!

Very nice beach. The vibe is very relaxing and uplifting. Family friendly, but no too much that singles can have fun. Great to hang out all day and relax. The water was calm and not too deep.

We had a wonderful time watching the sunset and also snorkeling. Found a bunch of live small sand dollars, hermit crabs and other crabs, minnows etc... enjoyed a nice evening with my husband.

Like actually all beaches on AMI Beautiful white sand and great warm and clear water. Unfortunately swimming is currently not reccommended due to high bacteria levels! Too bad that on the whole island is not warned about it at all and also very many people are in the sea. We have also learned only by chance. If there is such a risk for bathers, and the bacteria can be dangerous for people, there should be at least a very clear warning on the beaches, parking lots and other places on the island. Especially important for vacationers who are not networked on the island and learn all the news directly!

Beautiful beach, and super friendly people who work there. The rental loungers/umbrellas are of great value and convenience (especially as I forgot to pack our chairs...) It is not a large beach though, so if you want some space, you'll need to walk away from the conveniences of the parking lot. Amazing that it's free parking, but as you can imagine, spots are limited during busy times. We had a great time

Low key beach with quick access to food, drinks (all kinds!), and restrooms. Very clean, nice sand and all the people are just here to have a good time. Parking is a little tough so you have to be patient. We visited on a perfect afternoon on Thanksgiving Day. Hung around long enough for the S.unset

A great place for a family to enjoy the beach and get some great food. The restaurant food was yummy! A wonderful way to kick off a fun day playing at the beach. It would be advisable to bring some shade and sunscreen. Lots of room to spread out, play in the water and even walk the beach for shells.

This is a beautiful beach with soft white sand and beautiful water. It has all the amenities: restaurant, changing booths, bathrooms, a gift shop and an ice cream shop. Live music and cocktails are a great way to end the day.

Very pretty beach. We live about 20 mins away and it is becoming my favorite. Beautiful sand. There is a Hershey's ice cream place here, bar, and food.

Very nice white sand beach, lots of shells and it's not too bad during weekday. There are picnic tables, BBQ pits, changing rooms, shower and bathrooms. Life guards are on duty. Clean beach love it here! Oh and we seen 3 dolphins 🐬

Super convenient beach location with free parking. It was not too crowded and had nice shower stations and changing rooms. Not the white powder sand you find at Siesta Key Beach but it is not bad and stays cool. This spot makes for an easy beach trip.

Anna Belle island Beach you can park on the street anywhere you see a round P decal with a circle. The lots fill up quick. Pine trees with picnic tables for those of us who can only handle limited sunlight. Great sand and nice blue water. Large confession stand with an amazing selection of food at reasonable prices. Enjoy.

Great beach with easy parking the only thing is parking can be difficult because the lot does get full but the beach is beautiful and clean and the water is blue and white sand also the whole area is great as well the donut experiment is 4 mins away and the ugly grouper is a great family restaurant that’s also around the corner. Definitely recommend coming here with family and friends

Basically, the beach’s name is 'Manatee Beach'. Manatee Beach is a top fan favorite. With its wide & long stretches of white sand and great views of the Gulf of Mexico, it’s no wonder this beach is one of the most popular in anna maria island and in Sarasota. We reached here in the evening around 4 PM. Whether it’s swimming, sunbathing, or simply just walking with your partner along the shore, Manatee Beach is sure to provide you with a memorable experience. However, there’s more to this beach than just sandy shores and crystal waters. Anna maria island beach cafe: right on the beach, small tiki bar, food options (seafood- Burgers, salads, and sandwiches), ice cream. order a beer, or cocktail, or enjoy the stunning views of the Gulf of Mexico while you eat. Parking: Municipal Parking, it’s free but gets full so wait in one lane for 10-15 minutes, and you can grab a spot. Restroom: Yes! Changing Room: No Shower: Yes!

For me, this place deserve 5 stars! White sand, blue cristal water, clean restrooms, parking, food services, fresh water to clean you up and changing room! Come early to find a perfect spot in the beach, it gets pretty crowded! PS: Remember to leave the place as clean as you found it!

There was a lot of loud music as the people on the beach were entertaining themselves and it conflicted with the music coming from the bar so it was a lot more of a cacophony than I was expecting for a nice Beach Walk. That being said the beach itself was a roaring entity with large waves and I enjoyed walking in it. The Clouds robbed me of a good Sunset but I very much enjoyed the walk along the coast otherwise. Make sure to pay attention to where you park because there are numerous little side places to get off at and you'll end up walking down the street one street over to find your car which is a little disconcerting after Dark.
