We met some awesome people from Ohio and they suggested dinner at this place. We are from Oklahoma and good seafood restaurants are hard to find. You can call ahead to make reservations or walk in and dine. There was no waiting for a table inside around 5pm. The place is very clean and classy with candles in the center of the tables. We dressed normal nothing fancy and were well received. The wait staff were all helpful and took very good care of us. This is a great place to take your significant other for a perfect date night. I highly recommend eating here as the food was delicious!

Took my wife here on a staycation . We walked there from where we were staying. Food was really good. And fair priced. Would definitely come back.

Decent place for dinner situated between Bradenton and Longboat Key. Honestly not much to say here the food was above pretty good, the atmosphere at the time we went was pretty quiet. I did get a bit of a vibe from the staff like we were an inconvenience… but giving grace here as it could have been an off night. Kids menu was pretty standard, all in all no surprises but I can’t say there was a WOW factor from the food we ate or our general experience. Good news… this place is located right next to a Tyler’s Ice Cream, so can go treat yourself after.

I highly recommend Lazy Lobster of Longboat Key. Not only was our service amazing, our new friend and bartender, Courtney provided us a ‘cure all’ for frizzy (humid!) hair. She was amazing. I enjoyed the lobster roll. Succulent. But the chips. Omg. I even took them in a to go container- they are like a crispy and chewy explosion. My friend had two lobster tails. The square of potato au gratin was the highlight along with the French haricots vert.

Excellent menu and crowd size is medium. The early bird specials are excellent for lunch. We ordered the Key West Shrimp dinner that came with coleslaw and fries. The coleslaw has a junto of pineapple so an added twist of flavor for those of us that are foodies. Would recommend this place 100%!

This place thinks highly of itself, based on menu prices, but it's not worth what they charge. We had a lobster with brussel sprouts and "caramelized" onions. Lobster was fine but not great, alongside sprouts with too much garlic flavor, and 4 slivers of sautéed onions that were far from caramelized. Sitting at $45, you'd expect a fancy meal, and this was closer to diner food than a high-end restaurant. The fact that Lazy is in the title should tip you off, but the menu pricing does the opposite.

Don’t sleep on this one! It doesn’t look like much from the outside when you drive by. However, the food is AMAZING! It’s cozy and classy , a bit more upscale inside, very nice ambience inside and they do offer a patio with a little more casual atmosphere outside when it’s warm enough. We come back often and so far everything we have had had been extremely good! My favorite is the sea bass and the lobster escargot. Definitely recommend!

Been coming to anna maria for years and never tried much outside the island. Heard about thisnplace from a friend and decided to check it out. Not sure why we haven't been here before but we are regretting not coming here sooner. This will be a yearly thing when we come to anna maria. This is a short drive from the island on longboat key. The food was excellent. While a little pricey, it was well worth the money. We only had 1 complaint and they was the lobster bisque. We ordered a lot of food for a party of 10 and everyone agreed the lobster bisque wasn't right but it could of just been that night. Everything else was excellent. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting some good seafood and nice place to hang out and have some drinks with friends and family. Shout of to Ben for checking on us and making sure everything was good. They comped the bisque with no questions asked as well.

We stopped in for cocktails and early bird dinner. We sat at the bar & received excellent service from Courtney, our bartender. The lobster bisque is outstanding. We also enjoyed the fish & chips and the ribs. The meal was evenly paced & relaxed. The manager, Ben, was friendly and welcoming. This was an overall enjoyable experience. We will be back.

We were headed elsewhere 4-15-23 a place that we had been before. Then we reminded ourselves that we had not tried a new restaurant on this FL visit. Searched our list to explore. Lazy caught our eye as did the outdoor dining in a setting that puts you in a secluded garden environment. John took good care and the kitchen did everything right. The menu is diverse so there were many meat fish etc choices. We had Lobster, done correctly. Fair priced wine and a relaxed experience. Go enjoy. We will be back.

My wife and I took my brother and sister-in-law (11/18) for a nice weekend dinner. Every time we bring family we are not disappointed. From past experience, we requested Erik A as our server when making the reservation. Erik is attentive and provides the perfect dinner pace--never too much wait, never rushed. Unfortunately Erik had to leave early--but we were fortunate Brett took our table. Brett was a match to Erik with the same attributes as noted for Erik. Brett mentioned they also went to school together. The food was fantastic. We ordered 3 starters---I will start with the only negative--the lobster mac and cheese could use much more lobster. The fried green tomatoes and lobster Scargot were excellent. Every entrée (Broiled twin tails, Grouper Madeline and Bar Harbor combo--which I do not see on the online menu) looked and tasted great. A well paced evening with great food and great service.

Didn’t expect to love this place! Super 80’s vibe lots of older adults, but dang. Everything was delicious. Shrimp was perfectly done, scallops were delicious, green beans were nice (not soggy) great service!

Wow, my friends and I were impressed with how good the food was and the quality service. Now, we could only get a 4 o’clock reservation but that speaks to how good everything was at the Lazy Lobster 🦞 We will be back next year!

I have a Masters degree and all I can say is OMGGGGG!!!!!! Fresh lobster from Maine daily. The absolute best seafood dinner I’ve had possibly ever and we travel a lot (??!!!) Brianna was such a pleasure and made our night!!!! You will NOT be disappointed.

Green fried tomatoes were delicious 😋. Our waiter, Steve was awesome. Wish we lived closer so we could visit every weekend ☺️.

Dinner was incredible. We liked it so much we returned for lunch a few days later. Sadly, the service wasn't as good as our first visit.

Amazing anniversary dinner in a beautiful location. We had a great little table with a view outside to the terrace. The service from Kasey was outstanding. The food was so delicious. The best scallops I've ever had in both the appetizer and the pasta. Highly recommend!
