Was there for lunch on Friday afternoon. When we arrived the place was about 20% full and waiters was abundant. They took our order, two Colas and two burgers within 2 minutes. After about 5 minutes we got the Colas. 45 minutes later I asked for the bill for the drinks and left. No food on the horizon. Table next to us got seated 10 minutes after us, and was finished with there burgers and left before us. We enquired a couple of times to different waiters, because the one serving us initially, did her best to avoid us. Will not go there again, can not recommend either.

The chicken was not good and the smell was not nice, but the pumpkin and spinach was great. Starter was also nice. Waitress was friendly and very polite.

Service was good; friendly waiters. Did not wait long for my food. My steak was prepared well, but it could have rested a bit longer. Other than that, the food was great and the milkshake tops :)

We had dinner here last night, and we both went for the seafood platter which was very tasty but also serviced wonderfully (I was too hungry to take photos). We enjoyed our chat with the owner (who will be known as ‘that Psychic’😄 it’s an inside joke). He was super cool and attentive to all his patrons from what I could see, and our waitress was on top of her game despite it being a busy night.

What a disgraceful establishment! We waited 20 minutes for drinks alone and were ignored for the first 10 of those. After trying to talk to the manager on our way out and being ignored like fresh air, we are disgusted at the attitude of the staff and management. We are travelling and do not have 20 minutes to achieve nothing. Cape Town and back and we had not received such service anywhere else. This is a shocking representation of Bloemfontein and we are so pleased to be leaving to eat in another town that actually values their customers!

It's a very nice place to eat at but the wait(for your order) is a bit long. We didn't wait long to be seated, though. Otherwise the food is excellent 👌.

Barista spoiled the Cafe Latte tasted like hot water and milk. My cup was dirty. Food were tasty as always 👌🏽 Waiter was friendly and helpful. Less staff than usual, totally get that some were off for the long weekend. Best practice before serving food, ask or bring tomato sauce etc.

We've had great breakfasts there before. We tried dinner there this time. We all went for the ribs as recommended on Trip Advisor but were disappointed - they were dry and not as flavorsome as we were expecting. Maybe this was just an off night.

This restauant serves the most tender beef ribs. Whenever I visit the town of Bloemfontein I always eat there. Owner managed. Good service and clean.

Best, but the best, finger licking good, splendid ribs in South Africa! We always make time to come to Beef and Reef when we pass through our old town. Thank you for not letting our expectations down.

I enjoyed coming to beef n reef dor my first time and enjoyed it very much. I had an calamari combo and it was excellent cooked. My compliments to the chef. Apart from the time waited for my meal it was totally worth it. I will definitely recommend them.

So today the Lady Manager, told me that the reason is was not served, after seating 15 min, was because I did not wait at the reception, so I can be allocated a table, LOL... and she was happy for me to leave the restaurant. Lol...

The food was delicious. It was my first time eating there. Stunning service we didn't wait long for our food and our waitress Simphiwe were stunning.

We were here on Wednesday and the food and service was excellent. Paolo, the waiter, was attentive and he made sure the food and drinks were served fast. We went back today and Simpiwe, the waitress, was super and efficient. However, the manager on duty (i believe it is Paolo 's mother) was very disrespectful towards the waiters and kept on screaming orders at the waiters. Other than that, a very good place to have an amazing meal and the prices are good too.

The manager working there was so ugly with us on the 29th december 2021. We waited more than an hour for our breakfast. When we enquired about our food she said that they are short of staff and that we can go an make our own food in the kitchen. So not professional.

Great service! I ordered a normal beef burger and it was stunning quality! The chips portion was a bit small, but other than that it was great!
