Very fortunate to learn something interesting about the universe. Depending on the show they have, there's always something to expand your mind. Great that they will orient you to the southern skies.

What an awsome experience. This is a definite must for the whole family. See and learn about the 60" Rockefeller telescope. The 3rd largest on the African continent. See constellations, visit the museum and observe different objects through the 13" and 10" telescopes.

The lecture was awesome except that the notes were written in Afrikaans. An ideal place to visit for outdoor fun

This place is great and the guides seem to be quite passionate about the ight sky. They answer any questions , even the silly ones, and are full of fun and humor. The museum is fascinating itself, I wish I could read those books...

An amazing place full of brilliant history on the activities of astronomers in the southern hemisphere. Definitely worth a visit, with knowledgeable and friendly staff, also home to Africa's third largest telescope!😍

Nice hill for cycling. The route to the observatory is always closed and locked.

Boyden has been a special place for me since I was young. It's where my love for the stars first started. I'll never forget the first time I saw Saturn's rings through the telescope. This is such a great place to bring people, old and young!

Learned a lot of new things there. Nice view.

Very nice place! I was especially impressed by the historical refractor telescope, which still produces magnificent images (the dark South-African helps a lot, obviously). Please beware of the mosquitos (dengue!) in the evening.

Very interesting sessions and great to see the actual stars being discussed. The arrangements could have been better, i.e. use of microphones, more planning into the logistics of splitting the crowd and moving around on the observatory.

😠 Staff where rude and insensitive on many occasions. Also suspicious 'Lion interactions' are offered with cub petting included. IMO a cruel and unnatural experience. Rather visit and support an actual wildlife reserve in the area
