    Staff where rude and insensitive on many occasions. Also suspicious 'Lion interactions' are offered with cub petting included. IMO a cruel and unnatural experience. Rather visit and support an actual wildlife reserve in the area

    We had the amazing privilege today of a Private Tour around Bagamoya Lion Sanctuary with the owner Botha. An unssuming man with a law degree.. His passion for his animals radiates and soon as you meet him. The Sanctuary is a safe haven for rescued animals, which means it's a NO KILL shelter, he looks after them as though they were his own children, with such passion and enthusiasm. His knowledge about each and every animal is unbelievable. He can tell you before you enter into the cages which animal will take a liking to you and which you might not. His two Cubs that you are allowed to play with I have no words to describe. Well behaved and lil bit naughty but at end of the day just want to be loved. Botha, it was and honour to meet and spend the day with you learning about these animals and I am truly humbled by the work that you and your wife do for them everyday. From the lil Cubs, to the teenagers to the older Lions as well as the Cheethas, Leopardas and Caracals. We cant wait to come and see you guys again with the progress you have made on the bird sanctuary, as well as well as all the other plans you mentioned today to me. My sister was in her element for her birthday and for that I thank you.. I cannot think of another present that will beat this one. I wish you all the best and look forward to seeing you soon again This is a highly recommended Private tour with a 15/10 from me.... this far outcede my expectations and you can see by the photos.

    It was great and will be even more great in the future! We received a very friendly welcome, were told a lot and were able to ask questions at any time. Everything was very uncomplicated. You shouldn't expect a zoo here, it's a reserve that takes care of injured, abandoned animals (including dogs and birds) as well as big cats. Everything is being renovated, but we knew that. We will come back in any case!!

    They are not open 24 hours on Sundays. Not sure whether they are open at all. Their times on google needs to be updated and I recommend calling before going there. If there is no answer, I’d suggest not going.

    The place is great, specially for animal lovers. Perfect for a location event, has play area for kids as well. I didn't like the food prepared for us but that might just be a preference issue. The road going to the place is very bad, people going there would benefit if they use off road cars.

    I can maybe suggest that they have someone at the gate and allow random day visitors for a visit. As far as I can see you can only visit on appointment. Drove past there numerous times and the gate was closed. Especially after 3 on a Sunday when it's the only time we have to do these trips.

    This place was shocking. No one attended to us to go look at the animals, half the birds in the park looked sick and the ponds were empty and willed with off cut of pipes. The rabbits were running around everywhere and the walk ways were full of wire and water pipe off cuts. A friend of mine fell through of one the water bridges and got wet. She could have hurt herself. It’s really filthy and in disrepair

    Bad road, had to open gate ourselves, we booked for a picnic and swim, but two days before they let us know the pool is empty. A week after payment, admin said they did not receive the money, I had to send proof again. The animals is in very good condition, although their surroundings are not.

    This is perhaps the best place to see Lions, Tigers from close distance and with ease in South Africa. A short drive from Johannesburg, the place has many wild animals. Under the supervision from owner and his family you get a chance to get very close with Lions. The 1 year old lion is very playful. The wild life experience here is even better than Lions and Rhino park in Johannesburg. The owner is more passionate about Lions and tell much more what you can hear in Lion park in Johannesburg. On top of this the food is awesome here. In fact one can have far better dining experience in open with bon fire etc in Bloemfontein area. Highly recommended. Five stars deserved.

    It was interesting to see the lions, tigers, cheetah & all the other animals. They made all feel welcome. Unfortunately, the play area is a bit broken. Nevertheless, the kids could still play.

    The most incredible experience of our lives - the interactive experiences feeding the baby lion then in with the larger Lions and Tigers. They all like their bellies rubbed! It was worth far more than the long drive down from Johannesburg. [UK tourists: January 2016}

    (Translated by Google) Not happy at all. According to the internet the place was open, we drove all the way just to get there and see they were closed. The rates on the internet and on the board outside also differ. People nowadays use the internet for information. They can only slightly update their stuff that one can know. (Original) Glad nie gelukkig nie. Volgens die internet was die plek oop, ons het al die pad gery net om daar te kom en te sien hulle is toe. Die tariewe op die internet en op die bord buite verskil ook. Mense gebruik deesdae die internet vir inligting. Hulle kan net bietjie hul goed update dat 'n mens kan weet.

    I had a great time at Bagamoya Wildlife Estate. It's a Privately own Estate in Bloemfontein South Africa. Though it's not a real Safari Park where you expect in South Africa more like a Zoo instead. The More Dangerous Animals are kept in their cages. But to be able to be real up close and personal with a Real Lion Pup (at a fee of course). The Experience there was mixed Fear and Anxious to be touching a Lion. You need to experience it to feel it. The Place was well organise and well kept by the Owner. Young children will have a Blast of a time there too. The Food was served with Big Portions and the ambiance there was laid back and relax. The Fee maybe abit pricey but who's complaining where you can be touching a Real Lion. Will be there again if I get another chance.

When I called the owner he said I must speak to the manager lady to resolve my problems. Friendz I never got my money back.. they are fraud .. please why do you want to go to such a place.. where there is no hospitality.....

    (Translated by Google) A wonderful experience. Being in contact with these feline puppies was priceless. And all for around 35 euros. It is absolutely worth it. The animals are kept very well and we see that they are calm in this habitat having been born and raised here. Highly recommended if you are in the area but even if you are not (Original) Un'esperienza stupenda.

    We drove all the way to come spend the day with the Lions and have lunch only to get to the gate and that's it, the phone eord not answered and they don't respond to the whatsapp. According to the internet, it is open on Saturday and Sunday without you having to make an appointment. If it is closed, the website must be updated or a message left on the phone. We drove 35km on a dirt road for nothing! Pathetic service in our country

😠 Be careful if you are mean to enjoy inside the swimming pool.. there is no proper PH control in water. Highly contaminated water which may give you burning sensation to your skin. Controlling water pump is not its level according to number of people inside the pool.. especially in public holidays.....
