This is a world class museum! Stunning grounds, brutal history, numerous monuments. Too much to mention and a bargain at the price R20 per adult R10 per child. There is a little restaurant. Kids enjoyed the bunnies and geese. Great day out.

As a tour leader I took 30 English visitors there . They were shocked on discovering this horrendous aspect of the Anglo-Boer war. Not covered in history books at school in England. Emily Hobhouse a true heroine of humanitarian causes. Emotional visit.

Definitely the best kept museum that I’ve been visited in South Africa. Grounds are incredibly well kept. Museum is in great condition and beautiful. Lots and lots of memorabilia and items that are unique and very interesting. Very very very impressed. Definitely a must visit.

Wow, what an experience was knee high when our school had a trip to the museum. Heart warming that the staff and curators still make an effort to keep the Museum in prestine condition. Staff from security to admin staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Just a Big Big thank you for every single person that go's the extra mile for the Museum and the preservation of every single piece of history!!!

It is great to see how well this museum is looked after. There is always something new happening at the museum. The gardens are well kept, and there are plenty of shade for a nice picnic.

An incredible experience! I learned more about the concentration camps in one afternoon than in all my years at school.

Beautiful place to picnic and see some of our rich history. (The monument also has a very cool secret: if you sit against the wall on opposite ends facing each other you can talk softly against the wall and the person opposite you will hear you.)

Well kept grounds, neat and beautiful. Very peaceful atmosphere. Monument was recently restored. Looks like a great place to have a picnic under one of the old Wild Olive trees.

I expected it to be under taken care of, but was very suprised to see how well maintained this place is. Absolutely amazing! The gardens are green and watered, the statues are well maintained, the security at the gate is very friendly and fast to help! This was an absolute pleasure seeing everything so well taken care of!

It is a beautiful place to take pictures. I had a photoshoot for a modeling agency and it went amazing there was a lot of different places to take pictures and there's not a lot of people there so it was pretty peaceful.
