Definitely the worst Spur I’ve been to. Not even busy this Thursday night and the food took ages for something that usually is very quick at other Spurs. And ontop of that the food is definitely not prepared to the standards of other Spurs either plus they stingy with their ingredients.

Me and a friend were there the evening of 20 May 2023. I can't remember the name of the waiter that served the smoking bay that evening, but the service was really good. She came to inform us that avocado was out of stock for the chicken salad, and asked if they replace it with guacamole, but I said it's okey they can leave it out as I don't really eat avo. Her service was really fast, brought cutlery and table mats while we still decided what we were going to eat and drink. She was also really friendly. If you had more waiters like that and if your management were on that same level, then that restaurant would really run smooth. It was the best service that I ever had at a spur or any of the spur affiliations

Calvin was a good helpful charming waiter. Always friendly during our visit at Spur. I will recommend anyone who visits here to ask specifically for him. But generally all the staff are really friendly. They have a way of making you feel at home.

Motlalepula is definitely the person you should request when at Spur! She’s absolutely amazing. I’ve never been treated and served the way she did at a restaurant. You won’t regret it

Had an amazing experience although it was almost closing time. The portions are good compared to other Spurs but the ribs were a bit dry. Besides that, everything was good 👍🏽

The service was Quick even though it was lunch and the rwsturant packed. Dineo was my waitress, she was sweat and served with excellence!!! Informed me about 10% PSA member discount as well😁

I was served by Lukho. She gave us excellent service. She’s kind, warm and helpful. Lukho has helped me multiple times so I'm adding again that she's amazing and gives great customer service

Sanet was very friendly. Listened carefully to what we ordered and brought our food quickly. We had the correct food delivered.

Our starters wings and mushroom combo was unfortunately not great, chicken wings were disappointing, the worst I have had at any spur (very tough), also ordered a Coke Zero when placing our meal order. After having finished my meal I had to request another waiter to please go check where the drinks order is. We found the service very slow despite the restaurant not being busy. We didn’t bother ordering a main course and only asked for the bill. On a positive note the waiter was friendly

Spur is our favorite place! And Kele was an exceptional waitress. She really went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed and helped us order something other than what we usually do. I really enjoyed my cheesy schnitzel with prawns!

I ordered extra Onion rings a bad decision ever They were raw 🤮not crispy most of them were not coated I had to leave them money wasted,mind you this is my favorite, never again. The other food was fine,the turn off was when we picked the sauces underneath them there was chewed Chappies/ chewing gum. I had to wait for a good 30 minutes for my bill, I got up and paid on my way out because it did not make sense why I have to wait for that long for a bill.

Me and my family went to this spur last night, regrettably, I have to say worst experience ever. We went in the just after 7 and left around 9h45. Not because of the atmosphere,but because it took so long for us to be served. I ordered the Half chicken with veggies but I received chips and onion rings. I made the waitress aware and she brought the veggies Spinach, pumpkin and a sweet corn. It was late so I did not finish my meal and therefore took it home. Looking forward to enjoy my veggies, I found a thorn in my spinach, this could have killed me. I don't know what else I was swallowing because sadly, the Spinach was the last thing I ate. Needless to say that I will never go there again and will also worn my family and friends not to go there.

Enjoyed a nice meal with our kids while on a road trip through Bloemfontein. Kids thoroughly enjoyed the modest play area. Our waiter and the floor manager were very friendly and the service was top notch.

Ordered a steak which ai was not happy with. What I got was half a steak, with a huge chunk of dat attached. Surely when you order a steak, it should be steak?? When I asked the waitress about it, she told me that that is what steak looked like. I didnt even bother to argue and just left after paying.

Hey, look, the management does a great job with their Waiters and kitchen stuff you know👌. Well cooked food according to how you want, as in ACCORDING TO WHAT YOU ASK FOR, are they not fast too? Darn they are! I mean you do t have to wait for long periods of time ⏲ 🙄 and I had to come back when it's like really busy just to see if this was their standard and guess what? 😱😱😱😃😃😃it is their standard👌👌😁😁 best spur in Bloemfontein. Well, guess what, I used the same Waiter Mrs Sanet and yes, there other 4 times I came here I had different Waiter, I mean they did a great job too but hey, they just got better. Thank you guys like that's a lot. I personally recommend this spur. I just wish they could share with other spurs how get their stuff to be so good. Had the poorest service ever at any spur. Were there 2 days in a row, first day I had to wait half an hour just for 2 waffles and the waitress didn't even come to ask for anything to drink. Second daythe waitress also took forever to come to our table, the orders were wrong and when I got my calamari it actually looked more like chips than calamari. I will never visit them again.

The service was really excellent. Dineo served us ad we were quite happy and impressed with her service. Thank you Dineo for the special treat for our Anniversary. My wife and I celebrate our 27th Anniversary today. Always special to come and celebrate it at Alabama Spur Steak Ranch in Bloemfontein. Keep up the excellence service.

A very disappointing experience. There were only a few customers, yet we were served cold coffees, waited almost an hour for our waffles which were also cold and thin. Definitely not value for money. I don’t think we will support then again.

Today we went to Alabama spur to try out the new special the food was excellent. The service was great and the waiter (Sipho) was friendly we would like to be served by him again on the next visit.
