Excellent service, friendly staff. Good food. Guys odered this huge platter and had a bet going to see who would finish eating all. Oh my what fun n so much food. Needless to say all the prawns were eaten, hardly touched rice n chips.

We are so happy to now have an Ocean Basket nearby. Beautiful and clean restaurant. Great and professional service. Delicious food. Keep up the good work.

The Peri Peri Prawns was an ABSOLUTE winner!! The service is always amazing and they go out of their way to give the most friendly service. The chef puts extra pride and trouble into the food. Always a winner! This special menu is A MUST TRY!!!

Normally I love coming here. Today, Mothersday, is a total disaster. Service is slow, I asked for a new waiter as the waitress was absolutely pathetic. Waited 20 minutes for drinks, only brought knives to the table no forks. Then the only explanation is that my food was never ordered as after an hour my family already finished their food and my sushi was still not ready. I was told it will be another hour, so i opted for something else instead. The worst service at this OB ever. Extremely disappointed as this is a favorite for us.

I have previously experienced the place as a 5 star dine out with wonderful service However today was a complete spin from my prior experience…… 1. Lack of staff , poor waitress was so strained 2. More flies on my meal then food 3. Zero air conditioning and humidity 4. Manager who only showed customer care etiquette’s towards white clients I believe it’s a new manager (white male) Only attended to white clients and placed one waitress to serve all other tables I trust he will soon adapt and learn the importance of quality and conducive environment for all clients.

In all the Bloemfontein Ocean Basket this far my favorite one. I mean, the staff is great, chilled, friendly, the food is amazing, I love how they drill the platters and for most they make me come back every month that it's become a tradition. Well done Guys and shout out to the management. 👏👏💪

Enjoyed my time here. First customer for the day and had great service and top notch fish. Chips could have been more. But still tasty

The food was very good, but due to "menu change" according to the manager, the strawberry daquiry I orderd tasted like a normal cooldrink. Some of the items on the new menu, the whole Sea bream was also not avaiable.

Can you believe, everybody nows we have loadshedding, but no this restaurant tells you it is loudshedding and you have to eat by your cellphone light, no backup power, no candles, no warning that they wont have lights due to loadshedding. Even the chefs have to prepare the food at their cellphone lights…. Really ???
