If you are traveling through Bloem and need a place for kids to stretch legs (or to just get out of the house if you live in the area), look no further. This must be the most spectacular play area I've ever seen at a Spur! Or any other restaurant for that matter. Huge jungle-gym complex outside, with green carpet underneath and shaded nets over the top. Although, I don't know how much they will help mid summer in Bloem... Inside there's also a play area for smaller kids as well as a few games. Definitely recommend it if you have kids. The only thing I would recommend is placing a few tables closer to the playing area for parents to keep an eye on younger kids. It is very close to the N1 for people passing through.

Realy great change to my last visit. I have been looked after since I arrived untill we left the shop. Our waiter was hands on from the start and made sure that we had our drinks an made sure that our plates was set correctly and on a timely manner. From my side you realy deserve the prayse thanks we ha an great evening.

The service was good but very disappointed in the fact that you served my pregnant fiancé old guava juice, your tables are dirty and sticky, you got my order wrong I ordered a garlic and cheese sauce burger this looks and tastes exactly like a plain burger with your salad dressing sauce!!! You guys blatantly don’t care about your customers and the health risks you can cause by serving old drinks to your clients

Most delicious breakfast I've had at any Spur. Ever. You can taste that so much care and thoughtfulness went into preparing the meal and the freshest ingredients were used. All this coupled with lovely service; thanks so much for a wonderful experience

Worst service ever on 30 Jun 2022. My family and I (7 people) entered the Spur at around 18:30 and we were left standing there without service. There was no one at the door/front counter. No one came to greet/seat us. After a few minutes, one waiter walked in our direction and without even looking at us, she got something from behind the counter and walked away again. We turned around and left. We had a great time at a different establishmen. This Spur will never see me again.

For what Spur is, I cannot fault it. Quick, easy food that gets you satiated while on the road. We had an impressive waitress who thought out the box with everything she did. Adjoins the Windmill casino, for if you feel like a game or two. The car park is unfortunately so active with 'car guards' that you feel like you're running the gauntlet among the "bye-bye" screams that overlap each other from all directions as you leave. Not pleasant. Otherwise, a perfectly respectable place to stop.

Thanks to the friendly and well managed staff at Golden Nugget, Spur stake ranch... for a wonderful prepared meal. The other branches can come learn from you. On how to treat clients and run a Spur... The chef... we take off our hats for you... It is the first time that one can order something from the menu and it looks exactly like the picture and taste so amazing.... Thanks guys... #spur franchise go look at how things are done right.

Wow wow wow easy parking. Lovely setting. Have not received that class of service in a long time. Took food as takeaway and was absolutely mouthwatering. Remembered to include everything, including serviettes. My waitress was Rochelle who was amazing but all the waiters were in sync and I was never left unattended. Awesome job guys. Definitely a first class experience

They were closed on Christmas.. Which is understandable and quite considerate towards their employees.. they also got to spend some quality time with their families. The closure did leave us a bit frustrated since we didn't pre-book anywhere for Christmas lunch, and most open places were full. The food here is divine, the mood is upbeat and exciting, and the staff is usually friendly and attentive. They have a huge play area for kids, which makes it a family hit.

We enjoyed the food as a family and the service we got was excellent👌 as always l.

The place is full of people just enjoying themselves, it accommodates anyone and any group of people, it's heaven for children, the playground is huge and they have a videogame area. The food is good plus they serve alcohol. The place itself is just so beautiful, there's a casino, outdoor soccer and a bowling place next to the restaurant.

This rating is specifically based on Kgomotso - Manager, literally. The initial waiter gave us menus and went AWOL, did not even apologise for that manner. 10 minutes later, Kgomotso came through for us and served us wholeheartedly and exceeded our expectations. Personally, wish you more in life and blessings for your career. Spread the love.

Received good service... Toilets are a bit limited.. Could hear someone playing games on a phone and not utilizing the toilet.. It was one of the waiters probibly taking a break while customers need the loo. Food was good and we did not wait to long seeing that we were heading to Jhb and just had a quick lunch.

Awesome service from our waiter Monica. Such a good sense of humor. Was very impress with the big and clean outside play area for kids. Don't know the name of the Manager but wow he is on top of things. Very very impress.

After sitting, came, greeted me and she ask what beverage will I take with a smile. She was constantly checking up on me whether I am still ok....what a customer service. This is what brings me back to this spur. She made me feel as though I was the only client she is serving. Wooow. This made me to love this place more and more.

Not my favorite Spur branch. The atmosphere inside is too dark for my taste, and it might be to create a certain ambiance, but to me it just feels eerie. Service always acceptable, but the overall retail space around makes it feel like an abandoned building with the Spur as the last survivor.

The service is consistently horrible. I visited this spur several times. I only received better service once. Today, we were shown a dirty table and told that a waitress is coming to clean it up, we waited more than 10minutes with no show. When we left the people were just standing in the front and did not seem bothered.

We had to wait an hour for the food! (there were only 6 customers, including us) The Steak was cold, tough as leather and overdone. We ordered salad without croutons and mushrooms - that request was ignored! I cannot recommend this Spur at all!

A great experience, first time in a long time, at a Spur. All staff friendly and caring. Our waitress was super friendly, efficient and attentive. Well done Golden Nugget Spur, you have restored my liking in Spur.

What a bad experience. 1st the waiter turned her back on us while we waited to be seated. Seats outside is empty,we were not allowed to be seated there as they are booked. We agreed that we will be done when the people arrive,as it was more than 1h away. In return we treated like trash,as if we came to beg.

The kids have enjoyed themselves a lot but I was very disappointed 😞 at my order. The waitress misunderstood my order, and she gave me only stake with nothing else. I've asked for steak with onion rings chips and salad. But I just got steak 😋. Tried to make her understand but she actually played with my mind 🙃 and said I told her that I'll share with my husband. I then chose to keep quiet and ate just meat.
