The best carpaccio ever! Also best gnocchi ever, pillowy and light yet just chewy enough. Nailed it guys!

Outside area better suited for families and kids. Fantastic food especially mozarella starter. Service is good, just a little slow when busy but to be expected. Music inside is very loud.

Oh my gosh, I can say enough how tasteful the Medallion Steak is. It is by far the best main course I've had. The service is also on standard.

We have visited Avanti a few times now and on our last few visits, the service is SLOW. The wait for food is way too long not to mention trying to get the attention of someone to actually take your order. Every other table were served fast except us. Our waitress actually stopped me from placing an order to see to another tables bill and then made us wait a few more minutes before returning to take an order which we waited 30 minutes to place. This is just ridiculous.

We had dinner at Avanti on a cold and rainy evening. The ambience was very enjoyable as were the meals we ordered. What really stood out for us was the way our waiter (Happy) and manager (Tumi) handled an issue with one of our meals. They went out of their way to rectify the issue and bent over backwards to ensure the experience did not spoil the evening for us. Thank you Happy and Tumi for your caring and professional display of customer service at its best!

Went here two nights in a row with a collegue and the food was superb! One of our best finds in Bloemfontein.

Excellent restaurant, we loved the friendly and classy atmosphere, the food, especially their beef Carpaccio. It was also kid friendly with a nice play area.

Service on the phone is terrible, when ordering they didn't even know what wedges are. Food is not bad service is just not up to standard They also did not have their usual sirloin on the bone. Sounded like the waiter didn't even know about the dish.

The food was amazing, had to go back for the chicken Milano. The staff seem disorganized, we waited long to be served.

I found the resturant to be very noisy. Had a fish platter for one, the fish was way overdone, the prawnshells came off with difficulty

This restaurant was recommended by the owner of Le Belle Guesthouse. A great recommendation. Food is amazing, well priced, great quality. Service is up with the best. The vibe is good too and there is a nice kids play area so that parents can unwind a bit.

Had an amazing pizza with a great server, kids where a bit noisy in the play area thus the atmosphere rating is a bit lower however without the play area the atmosphere is a 5/5.

Very average in my opinion. Third visit in 3 years. Am not a local. Steak portions did'nt impress. Service was average. Pizza was dry. Its not bad, just had very high expectations because locals created high expectations.

I have eaten here on several occasions. Normally very good. This time our chicken was very dry. Nice play area but the people in the play area can they treat the kids equally or atleast say if the older kids are bullying the other kids not just stand there and act like it's fine.

Friendly service. Food is mediocre at best. Ample parking. Good location if you live close by, but not easy accessible from highway etc. Bathrooms are appalling. Doors cannot close. Seats are missing etc.

Wonderful experience all in all. The halloumi, fillet ánd the rump were a little bit on the salty side though. That's the reason for 4 stars and not 5.

I have eaten here on five occasions. Normally very good. This time my pasta was hard. The dressing for the salad came from a Knorr plastic bottle. You used make an anazing dressing. To make things worse several of your staff members stood at the entrance & screamed & shouted at each other like they were in a taxi rank. Really poor form. Not planning on returning.

A wonderful experience indeed. It was fully booked but they made a plan to get us a lovely spot. The food was fantastic...my daughter even ordered another meal to take away. A must try for locals and those passing through
