My husband and I like to go on Saturday mornings. The atmosphere are great. The food are very nice. The waiters are friendly. They are not expensive.

Our waitress was satisfactory but you have to wonder when your server advises you against various things on the menu and can only half-heartedly recommend one dish by saying it's "not so bad". I had a cappuccino that was rather weak and the springroll and samosa basket with chips. The pastry (puff pastry, not even phyllo) to filling ratio on the samosas was 95% thick, chewy pastry and 5% filling of an unidentifiable nature. The samosas were slightly better but still bland and not worth the money. The chips tasted mealy and stale and were obviously cooked in old oil. Give it a skip - your stomach will thank you.

Best buffet breakfast in Bloemfontein. Also the best spinach I have ever had. Great value for money. Have been coming here for almost a year and they never disappoint.

I don't like complaining but really hope the owner can up their game cause we really used to love this restaurant. i don't mind paying for food but then i expect it to be good quality. we had breakfast today and it was really the worst food and very expensive. i clearly coud see there is no effort in the food. i could do a better job myself.

The food was not up to standard, it was tasteless. We waited very very long for our food. The waiter's hand looked as if it was badly injured, you could actually smell the strong medicine that was applied to his hand, this is in my opinion very unprofessional. The tomato bottle on the table was so dirty and disgusting, I could not touch it. This was my 5th and last time at Traumerei. Cheers

I am not someone who ever complained about the service or the flood but I think the price for what you get is not always great. I work close by and do like to have a nice lunch every once in a while. The breakfast buffet is a real treat and would come just for that but for anything else on the menu I won't pay that much money for. The traumazini is usually my go to for a filling lunch in a busy schedule. But today I wat really unhappy with the dish that was served. Crumbed chiken and pineapple with peppedew "suposedly". Not worth R95 if you ask me. I think they could have at least put a little bit of procesed cheese on to give a flavor other than sweat chilli sauce. I do try and support them when I can and tip the waiters every time I do order a take away even if they did not need to do much. I will recommend maybe having some cake there and rather take lunch at one of the other restaurants nearby.

I am not someone who complains a lot, but my experience at Traumerei was shocking. The floors were extremely dirty - I didn't even feel comfortable putting my handbag on the floor. The dirt is black against the skirting. The waiter was unfriendly and impatient. The food was average - not at all worth what you pay for. I had a tomato relish breakfast. It was tomato relish from a can, with no basil as on the menu. Would not return.

Such a nice venue, many nice places to choose from. Beautiful setting with the palm trees.

Excellent coffee and best cakes. This place will always be close to my heart since they where part of my engagement, even though it was just a small letter they had to give to me. It was still special!

Really not impressed with service received on 21 December by both waiter and food. First waiter forgot one persons order. Chicken strips and calamari had absolutely no salt or any spices on. Really was not nice, management said they dont put any salt on as each persons taste differ. How can one prepare food without any basic salt or spice. Alsio my dish was really bad. Ordered a omelet with bacon cheese and mushrooms. The mushrooms was still cold from the tin can. The cheese was not even melted, by far the worst omelet I ever had. AND then the waiter took our order for drinks and food. After receiving food and drinks, never came to ask if we wanted anything else to drink or if food is in order.

Horrible service, waiter had the worst attitude. Never ever again

Delicious omelet. They offer a breakfast buffet and also has a budget breakfast that includes a cuppacino for a very good price.

Very disappointed had their burgers buns were hard my son hardly had chicken on his roll.i told the waiter all she could say was sorry.....I definitely won't hve their burgers and the wait was ro long as they were not that busy as ppl had their food..very disappointed

Hlo Everyone, what can I say. Traumerei is the best. Will always be the best. The place is so beautiful, clean, the atmosphere is so relaxed especially in the morning when you want to enjoy your coffee in a relaxed atmosphere, and the staff is always friendly and accomodating and will go out of there way to please you. I am so glad you are still staying strong and keep your head up high though this difficult and uncertain times. I had the Breakfast Buffet, the best and my wife is a Vegan she had the Vegan Breakfast, what a good addition to the menu. Please stay strong and stay safe 😷👏
