Traveling to Cape Town this filling station has always been one of our preferred stops along the route purely because of its convenient access back on to the N1 without having to take an off ramp. They have some life animal on display for the individuals who does not find themselves acquainted with some basic day to day farm animals. They do get busy during festive season and some peak hours during the day and evenings otherwise you can find yourself first in the queue to get your vehicle filled up. The facilities are always clean and presentable as around the clock cleaners will inspect and ensure that the facility are in tip top condition for the next guest wishing to utilise those facilities. There are 1kg ice packs for sale for those like myself and others who wish to buy some, their refrigerators are not always well stocked as they should be or their packers are just on the go slow when it comes to ensure that refrigerators are always well stocked, they can also move their specials from right at the bottom to somewhere more readable especially the one for Pepsi, I literally had to go on my knees to read it and to see which of the Pepsi products where actually on promotion, Otherwise there is not much to complain about except wimpy however I will do so on their Google sheet.

The Wimpy waitrons are extremely rude and not helpful at all. We ordered 2 coffees, but they only gave us 1 and it clearly showed on the receipt we ordered 2 wimpy coffees, but one of the waitresses came forward, insisting that she gave us our complete order. Eventually we were able to get the 2nd coffee, but the waitress should not have argued with me in the first place and raise her voice at me when the receipt never lies. Better customer service makes for a better customer experience.

I called Engen 1 stop wimpy in bloemfontein N1 to place an order as I was driving to cape town I was then assisted by a very helpfull lady unfortunately she was on the opposite side, she then transferred my call to the direction I'm driving to. I was very disappointed by the poor service, instead of taking my order they continued with their conversation. I hang-up because I overhead one of them saying "they are annoyed with these call come to the gas station and place your order" manager please explain to your staff why you have this contact number for assisting customers.

It's a petrol station like all others. It is nice and clean and stuff is sort off helpful.

Good stop when passing through Bloem. Fuel and freshen up. Grab something to eat at Wimpy - sit down or take away. Wheel chair friendly only guide dogs allowed. Also has an engen Shop with a bakery - ATM inside Indoor and outdoor seating with kiddies play area Didn’t enjoy seeing goats locked up in a small fenced space - cruel!

Very chill place to sit and have a break. Shaded parking and you can charge your phones here.

Cleanest toilets on route Cape Town. Engen Beaufort West and Colesburg need to learn from Bloem Engen how things should be done.

Have to ring bell for service. Pies and chips ice cold which we only discovered when already in car. Only first 2 toilet cubicles and basins open as the floor was been washed. Cashier quick and friendly. Nice and clean with a large variety of eats and drinks.

Every single time I've visited this site half the pumps are closed and the parking lot to the left of the C-store is cordoned off for "management", according to the staff. I don't think I'll stop here again. Too inconvenient to park around the corner as the management parking lot with the same two vehicles are for the owner's use only.

Clean and friendly services very good for a break on a road trip. Could do with 24hr hot food in festive season.

I liked everything there, from parking to the toilets (because they are clean), except from the staff that works at the pies, I came with a smile to her asking for a certain pie and she gave me a mean look and had attitude I couldn't handle, I replied by: "thank you for your service, bye", and I ended up not buying those pies, either than that, everything's great, I liked the place.

Our waitress, Olga, was absolutely amazing. Such a good sport and extremely friendly. Will definitely ask for her again. The milkshakes were great.
