The service is horrible! My mom and I got our drinks after a 40 minute wait! The waitress practically threw the drinks on the table and left not even giving us a chance to order food. We waited 40 minutes again for the waitress to come take our order, and I eventually had to stand up to go ask the waitress for our bill because my mom had to board a flight. Mind you the place wasn't even busy. You would think a restaurant in a airport would be more sensitive to the customers time.

This location is heavily understaffed and none of them check in on you like a normal place u would walk in and the staff would greet and take you to a seat here none you walk in and walk to the counter to order and if you are lucky you may call someone to come for a lovely location like this 2 stars wouldn't recommend. To add to this you can buy something called bottomless which is basically whatever you can drink for 1 cup i ordered 1 drank it waited 10 - 15 minutes asked for a refill and about 30 minutes later i got it. This places services is pathetic. Aswell this is not Halal.

Did my research and saw that they open at 7am on a Sunday, came here to enjoy a lovely cup of coffee before greeting my loved one. Upon arrival I found that they only open at 9am, way past our flight departure. We also encountered other individuals who flew in all the way from Kimberley to have breakfast half way here, however they were left dissappointed as well. I would suggest at least changing the hours as to avoid any further disappointment.

Honestly if I could give 0 stars I would. I am someone that always gives a positive review as I used to work in restaurants. We waited 20 min for drinks and then a further 45 min for food that doesn't even taste good... The service is extremely slow while the shop is not even busy. Being the ONLY restaurant at the airport you guys HAVE to be time sensitive.

The saddest most tired Mugg and Bean ever. Today there was no bottled water, no sugar free Coke options, no potatoes of any kind and no fish. Not sure what's going on there but it was the most sub-standard M&B I've ever been too.

Excellent service, extremely helpful waiter. The food was fantastic. Strict protocols were followed regarding the Corona Virus.

The staff is inside looking at me but they do not open. Its now 1h30m after opening time and still no service.

I had a such a great experience at this Mugg & Bean. The service excellent and very quick. The restaurant is situated right next to the checking gates.

Takes forever to be served. Did not have coke zero, did not have ice coffee and didn't have any milkshake. Would not recommend this place. Gives the airport a bad name.

This restaurant doesn't deserve even a 1 star. We were a party of 3. Waited very long for only milkshakes. 4 waiters was hanging on a counter. 2 shakes arrived, in the hand (not in a tray). We waited again for the 3rd milkshake. Saw it on the counter. Later my husband got up to get it himself. The waiter walked with shuffling-feet (it was in the morning!) - no energy, no enthusiasm. While we were there, 2 tables was used, glasses and stuff still on it - customers left before we came in. In the hour we were there, those tables were not cleaned. I see, Management, that a lot of customers complained about poor service. For all of them you answered: we don't want you to remember us like this, please make contact.... DO SOMETHING, then you won't get these bad reviews. This was a bad experience.

We had coffee, milkshake and cooldrink. Very good service. The music is just a bit annoying. Drinks were good and the waiter immediately help clean up when my mother spilled part of her drink.

I wanted to use the lounge but that didn't materialize. I only had a take away coffee at the boarding gate....coffee brilliant as always.

Terrible experience. We’ve been waiting for more than half an hour for your breakfast while other customers who arrived after us were served first, had time to eat and leave. And we were just two people! They didn’t even give us the drinks while waiting for the food. We had to leave for our flight and no one had the decency to apologize! I would rate this as zero if I had the chance.

I’ve come to this restaurant 4 times now and it is always the same service. Poor. You wait 45min for an order and even then getting the waiter just to make rounds at the table for drinks is a mission. You have to stand up and go look for them because they forget about you. 4 times not just once. Appalling service and the owner does nothing about this, as there are multiple reviews saying the same thing. To the owner, it is sad to see how you run your business.

the waiting time here is unbelievable! You will miss your flight if you order food here. I can only imagine this restaurant loses so much money because people simply walk out to catch their flight.

Pathetic!!!!! They don't even deserve 1 star. We had to seat ourselves. All the waiters saw us sitting at the table but walked right past us. My husband had to call a waiter to help us. They walk around like they are sleep walking. Very slow service. They won't be seing us again.

Very bad service. Apparently they have no trays. The milkshakes were carried by hand. The mocha chino had NO ice in it, when I send it back. I did not get another one🙄. There was an eyelash in one of the milkshakes. Very substandard food

This is the one of the Mugg & Beans of the lower class, you can't find it on the app, they don't have even an option to earn loyalty points as their till slips doesn't generate the one with the QR code. The service I got was so poor from the lady at the till, she kept on forcing SeSotho as if I'm from the Free State province. Other than that, the food is good and fresh.

I spent several hours here over the busy December period and would like to thank Aria and the rest of the team for their excellent service and for making me feel relaxed and welcome.

Good place for a quick snack or meal before you fly! Service is good food tasty. Try the lemon meringue pie!! It's delicious

Never had a "great" experience here but this time no aircons inside and the cooling fans didn't work properly splashing water all over the place and we had to request that they please fill them up with water and some ice to function. Two of our dishes we had to change due to unavailability after we placed order already. Otherwise our waiter was great and looked well after us and It should be looked a bit higher up for stock and ensuring shop running top notch and its a busy time of there year at the airport. Can get a lot busier there are a lot of people living around that don't want to travel to big malls for a nice meal and if there's good food good service and great reviews they Will come!

I had the most horrible service this morning. A waiter with short blonde hair served me coffee, I waited 45 min for a bill, eventually she brought it and just left it on the table to continue serving other customers who came after me. I waited for and 30 min until one waiter with a card Machine was assisting clients next to my table. I called him to assist paying the bill. All clients came and go while I’m sitter wait for the bill and card machine

They brought me the wrong order and took their time with a drink order. They also never got back to me when I wanted to order some food.

Wifi was bad infact horrible but they lady serving me was the best atleast that's something to take home❤️❤️I enjoyed even the view

STAY AWAY! After waiting for 27 mins for 2 cappuccinos and 30 mins for a sandwich order, I left. This place is as pathetic as you can get... just another overpriced restaurant which is better off closed! Please don’t waste your time...

Worst mug and bean i have ever visited. Food takes ages and only lets you know about problems with your order after you got your food. Food got to me cold and I got hair in my food. Wish I could give less than one star.

Worst mugg and bean I've been to. The waitress was incompetent, I knew the menu better. I ordered eggs be edict and the eggs were basically blue they were so overdone. If you go here rather just order drinks (which are also touch and go). Don't go hungry, you'll be disappointed.

Staff are really slow and don't check up on you. Id you what to eat there make sure your there at lessed 2 hours before the time. Food was great.

The shop is really under staffed. And they cannot cope with the high influx of clients. Which makes it difficult to even grab a quick coffee before your flight..

This restaurant is always busy. People come here from all over the country and even the world. But it is unfortunately sub standard. The air conditioning is not working. Cracked glass at the non smoking area, wall paper coming off. The floor tiles are broken. The waiters are friendly but service is slow. Overall not a pleasant Mug and Bean experience. A lot of room for improvement.

It was a comfortable place to sit while our flight to cape town was delayed for over 2 hours.

Disappointed I got to the airport at 8 Sunday yo find them closed, as my flight was at 10 we went to Wimpy at the garage near the airport for breakfast

Waited over an hour for food, 1 plate came, after 20min the second order came - after having to look for the waiter and ask about our order - then had to wait another 10min for the 3rd order. Had a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich- no cheese. Waited another 10min, searched for a waiter, theb got the sandwich back. Ordered extras on the first item, which never made it to the plate. No service, bad attitudes when asking for something- nearly missed out flight. Only made it because we paid before receiving our order.

Very bad service from waiter, sent us to take away section, then they sent us back to sit down. Wanted to order blueberry oats, out of stock. Waiter really rude. Went back to take away and the cashier over charged us.
