Went
here
as
a
couple
on
a
Sunday
at
noon
during
our
short
transfer
through
Brasov.
There
was
only
1
table
with
about
8-10
people
in
the
restaurant,
besides
that
it
was
empty.
Took
the
server
5
minutes
to
bring
a
menu
and
5
to
take
our
order.
We
had
a
lemonade
and
a
cider,
drinks
were
brought
very
quickly.
We
also
ordered
a
La
Strada
Burger
and
a
Mexican
Quesadillia.
The
food
took
1h
20m
to
arrive.
We
are
still
in
shock,
one
week
later.
They
excused
themselves
by
saying
they
are
overwhelmed
with
orders.
Overwhelmed
with
12
guest
spread
between
2
tables!
The
restaurant's
capacity
is
huge,
I
counted
at
least
8
tables
with
6
seatings
inside
and
8
more
tables
with
4
seatings
outside.
If
they
are
overwhelmed
by
12
people,
I
can't
imagine
how
they
handle
a
full
night.
Perhaps
you
have
to
also
order
your
food
when
you
book
a
table?
Anyway,
besides
waiting
80
minutes
for
our
order,
the
food
was
mediocre
at
best.
The
"Mexican"
Quesadillia
had
chicken
breast,
onion,
red
pepper
and
cheese.
Basically
it
had
sautéed
veggies
with
some
chicken.
For
a
"Mexican"
dish
you
would
expect
corn,
jalapenos,
cilantro
or
tomatoes.
Also,
the
menu
didn't
even
state
it
had
meat,
so
vegetarians
beware!
The
salsa
was
also
pretty
basic,
not
even
spicy,
just
a
basic
sauce.
The
"La
Strada"
Burger
was
also
very
mediocre.
The
menu
states
that
it's
a
Beef
Burger,
but
trust
me,
the
beef
only
passed
through
the
patty.
It
was
about
75%
pork,
25%
beef.
There
was
so
much
fat
pork
in
the
patty,
I
initially
thought
they
fried
the
burger
in
oil,
it
was
unbelievably
greasy.
Or
maybe
they
did
fry
it
in
oil,
but
Beef
Burger
it
was
not!
At
least
the
fries
were
not
frozen,
but
made
from
fresh
potatoes.
The
dipping
though
was
pathetic.
A
very
bland
mixture
of
what
appeared
to
be
yoghurt
and
parsley.
It
had
no
taste,
completely
bland.
Oh,
forgot
to
mention
that
the
pictures
of
the
place
were
probably
taken
right
after
their
previous
renovation.
If
you
go
today,
you
will
find
watermarks
ans
spots
on
the
walls,
the
wood
fixtures
are
dusty
and
greasy,
the
spider
webs
at
the
corners
are
dark,
the
light
fixture
above
our
table
had
some
white
splashes
all
over.
The
restaurant
is
clearly
3-5
years
down
the
road
from
its
previous
renovation
and
is
in
dire
need
of
a
cleanup
and
a
fresh
lick
of
paint.
The
strangest
thing
though,
the
management
placed
a
table
right
at
the
serving
window
from
where
the
pizza
comes
out,
which
means
that
whoever
sits
there
gets
a
constant
stream
of
waiters
taking
pizza
and
chatting
with
the
pizza
tossers.
And
since
pizza
takes
8-10
minutes
to
make,
in
the
1
hour
and
20
minutes
you
wait
for
your
order
you
get
to
regret
that
you
ordered
more
"complicated"
food
about
10
times
:)
