I'll start with the fact that the place is located in an unreal place, in the center of Brasov, under the mountain in the park, the view opens up to the whole city. Nice atmosphere, music, service. We came to have dinner. The food was delicious, the presentation was extraordinary. We were very satisfied.

You can't fault the excellent reviews... The food is exquisite. It's among the best 3 restaurants in have eaten in this price class. Perfectly plated dishes, great combinations... Flavors complimenting each other.... Combine that to a perfect atmosphere and impeccable service. And you have a perfect restaurant.... I made it a point to visit this restaurant. (the nearby Cable Car was closed on Monday). They did not dissapoint... I am a vegetarian... And am used to not having many options especially in restaurants in Europe.. They too didn't have very many... But it makes no difference if you aren't a regular. I had a great time... And even ordered dessert... Even though I was pretty full after the starter (I know I am repeating myself, but this was the star of the show) and the main dish. Glad that I ordered the traditional dessert... Hot plate pudding with ice-cream... Was exceptional too. To finish off I want to thank " Anji " for the wonderful service, suggesting dishes... And her patience with our little kid. Definitely visit when you come to Brasov.!!!

Book in advance and get a table by the window - you will get great views of the city. Nice setting, elegant vibe, no need for a particular attire, though. During weekends it's quite crowded, so be sure to make a reservation. Good service. The food is traditional Romanian with a twist. Large portions, above average prices.

Overall a great experience. We ordered a few appetizers, mains and desserts. Highly recommend the parfait of chicken liver. the duck leg and breast were equally tasty. Service was excellent thanks to Andreea.

This place is definitely a must! It is welcoming, professional service and the food not only looks amazing but it is also very tasty! Everything we ordered was great and portion is big enough. Prices might look a little high but here at least it is worth it! Definitely will visit every time I return to Brașov and will recommend to everyone! Tip: Check each category of the menu, you may surprised to find something good in an unexpected category!

Always a pleasure to come back and find the same quality of the food, service and atmosphere. If you stop by in Brasov, you must stop to this lovely restaurant. The food is excellent, the service is on high level, the staff is always kind and nice and on top they have the best dessert in town.

This place is amazing, you can get there by walking in a beautiful area with forest. As you walk in you are welcome by some nice waiters, who lead you to the table ( you don’t need a reservation ). Inside you will see, a lots of plants, which give you a nice feeling and a relaxing environment. Big windows with an awesome view to the city Brasov. Waiters are very politely and helpful with everything. Food is just unbelievable, they take romanian food and they transformed it into a work of art both in term of taste and appearance. Everything is delicious and looks very good. Price are veryy good and the quantity of food is large.

A super nice restaurant with berry cozy and stylish atmosphere tucked in the hillside of town. Service was very attentive, selection of drinks and food also excellent. We loved the peaceful atmosphere. Czell beer was a Great Choice.

We visited Romania in early Aug 2023. This restaurant is amazing with great food, service and ambience. My 4-yr old loved the Turkey breast with mashed potatoes. We also tried the rabbit and chicken breast and a few cocktails - they were equally good.

I would start by saying that we've had a great experience. Tasty food and nice atmosphere. We were there for an anniversary and we enjoyed every single moment. The service is also one of the highlights of this restaurant. I would recommend to put this place on your "must do while in Brașov". I took one single picture of the appetizers, but it already can give you a good hint.

Delicious food and very good service. The duck was well cooked and has an interesting side dish to it. We went there in the afternoon and had no issue with find a place. The toilets are clean.

Great place to have a dinner, no matter, romantic one or with a family. Traditional Romanian dishes are reconstructed in a modern way of contemporary cuisine and as a result your taste buds are impressed. We tryed golden cheese as an appetizer and pork cheeks and rocky mountain oysters as a main course-everything was delicious. And a special star goes to a server- he was very attentive, but not annoying - great mix of a high - quality service. I'm sure we'll visit Sub Tumpa again.

This restaurant totally exceeded our expectations. We were seated next to the window, and enjoyed the beautiful view. The waiter was very nice, always with a smile on his face and very attentive to what we needed without seeming disturbed at any moment. The food looked very good and tasted delicious. I totally recommend it, we will surely be coming back to this restaurant when in Brașov.

A wonderful hidden jewell in the woods. The food is very tasty, vegetarian friendly. The place is great, the music is nice and the atmosphere is very relaxing. The interior of the restaurant looks amazing! In order to get to this place you need to have a 10 minute walk. Parking is somewhat difficult. Later edit: the group didn't feel too good after the meal.

Really tasty! Not cheap at all, but at least the portions are large. I highly recommend the duck breast. Hot chocolate is also yummi, in case you decide not to taste one of the many wines from the menu.

First off, the food is great and in perfect portion sizes. I would say the food is a bit different from traditional Romanian food, I would say, like others do, that it's slightly re-imagined. The atmosphere is quite strong and warm yet light, depends on what table you're sitting at, but the design is great all around the restaurant. Somehow, considering how spectacular and refined the dishes are, they arrive extremely quickly, it's hard to comprehend how they do that. The staff are very nice. Would come here again

We had a super nice experience at this restaurant 😊. It was on my "to visit" list for a long time. The price range mentioned was for an appetizer, two main courses, a dessert, a bottle of wine and the water. What I want to mention is also that the portions are huge (or at least we felt like we ordered too much), but the food is absolutely amazing, and also the service was great.

The best traditional meal I have had in Romania so far. There's a beautiful hiking trail you can walk behind the restaurant. Then come here to eat to your heart's content. I highly recommend the Bran Gold fried cheese with marmalade of tomato for appetizer, and the slow cooked boneless leg of lamb. Truly incredible cuisine.

I’d been looking forward to stepping inside since the build started a few years ago, I finally came back to Brasov today and I was very lucky to find a table to enjoy the tastiest, most pleasant and amazing treat I had never tried before or even known it existed! On top of the overwhelming culinary sensation, the service was brilliant, I clicked with my waiter Codruț instantly and he made my visit even more memorable. Can’t wait to come back and try every little thing on the menu!

A great experience at this restaurant after going up to see the ‘Braşov’ Sign on top of the hill. The restaurant is situation very close to the chair lift. The food was really good and tasty, as well as the drinks. The portions were a good size.

This restaurant describes itself as a neo-traditional Transylvanian cuisine. Very good location in the quiet south area of Brasov, very good view and big terrace for summer evenings. Very polite and knowledgeable staff. Refined menu with a wide selection of local products. Plates are treated in detail. Good wine selection from Romania and west Europe. Very cheap price compared to food and service quality. Special mention to Codrut that looked after us the full night and was very kind and knowledgeable about the different products. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Brasov or around.

This local is exactly near the cable station. We had a lovely lunch here. The food was great, the interior looks very nice and also the view is great. The recipes are quite original, We tried the cow tongue and the duck leg confit. Strongly recommend those. We also tried the dessert and it was good. Advice: is best to made a reservation as the place is full (in week-end).

The place is very stylish and it has a beautiful view of Braşov. The food is fancifully arranged and the tastes are unique. The menu is very varying and it also has options for vegetarians! I recommend this place if you want a nice quiet beautiful lunch or dinner.

Great restaurant. Great food. Great personnel. The atmosphere there is really cozy and elegant in the same time. The food there is always excellent no matter what you order(they have vegan recipes as well). And the waiters are really kind and they serve you great. I always recommend this place to people and friends.

Nice place tucked away from the buzz of the center - but make sure you have a reservation for saturday at lunch. Vegetarian options available, the mushroom cream soup was very nice. The Aperol spritz and the Hugo were also well made, something that becomes a hit and miss the farther you venture away from Italy. Service very nice and courteous. Would visit again.

Went in December 2019, loved it so much I held it in my memory for this trip. Still as good as I remember, something for every taste! A must if you are in the city
