Andrea and Adrian were fantastic hosts. They recommended us the best dishes to try and we were able to enjoy some local music at the restaurant. We left very happy and satisfied after the delicious local food. Definitely a must try if you're visiting Brasov for the fist time 😋

So, if you are in Brasov city then you won't go wrong by coming here for dinner. On a nice day sit outside in the courtyard under the shade from the old willow tree. The waiters and waitresses all look smart in their uniforms and provide excellent service. A good selection of delicious food on the menu. I am sure you won't be disappointed.

If I could, I would give you 7 stars. Not 6, 7! Delicious food and fantastic service. Suoer autenthic place. Good prices and we were lucky to see the small live show with folk music. Best experience in Romania so far!

A proper Romanian cuisine restaurant, with amazing meat dishes, even if not too varied. Staff was quick to serve and impress. Courtyard was chilly on a summer day, in a good way, and also one should not stand near the grill pit if they don't want to smell like grilled meat. The tables and chairs could definitely be more comfortable, after an hour or so the chair brings numbness to the lower side.

I strongly recommend avoiding this restaurant. Unfortunately, now it is only the shadow of what it was. We waited more than 15 minutes for the menu. Meanwhile in the restaurant it was a total chaos. A senior gentleman at a nearby table interrupted the waitress from doing nothing to ask for a beer and she started yelling at him. This type of attitude is unacceptable. The manager was absent, just flirting with another waitress. The whole staff would benefit from a customer oriented training. The only persons that were putting an effor were the barbecue chefs. And the place wasn't even full. After 30 minutes of waiting we left the place.

As we are walking through the city of Brașov we saw a funny name for a restaurant " Ceasu Rău"! We decided to take a look and a young man has take us to a lovely table in the garden! We thought at the beginning that he is the waiter, but later on i realised he was the service chef! So, we want to express our gratitude to Adrian Bisoceanu for his exquisite service! We had a very tasty roumanian soup at lunch! And because we enjoyed it so much we went once more for dinner later on! And we weren't disappointed! Long story short: the restaurant is not very far from the old town of Brașov, the offer on the menu is affordable and the stuff amasing! Very good and reasonably priced autentic romanian dishes in local atmosphere, the best local food we had on our Romania trip Though disappointed by the underwhelming service, based on our observations driven by how the service operations and service staff not really collaborating Net net 4 stars with the benefit of the doubt. Review for May 2022, after a long period with delivery only from this source. Nice outdoor terrace, nice kids play area. Quick table service (was a Saturday 16:00 hours). Payment accepted by card. Joyful and chatty waiter. Food is good, Romanian traditional. Focus is on the meat ones, pork/beef is sourced from their ranches.

Not impressed at ALL! Went here on a recommendation from a local friend. 1. The service took a long time taking our order. 2. They didn't have the steak, so ordered their "special" beef dish. 3. The meat in what I can only describe as a stew, was like rubber. 4. We had to move towards the end of the evening, as they wanted to close the back terrace. 5. When it came to paying the bill, was told that I couldn't pay by card. Had to go to an ATM and get cash. 6. Worst part, I was lied to. When I came back, my partner who is Romanian, and had gone to the bathroom at the time, asked where I was. She was told I went to the ATM to get cash, so she quizzed them, and they confirmed they can take card. Paid exactly what was on the bill. Will not go back here. I may not be Romanian, and not care about my appearance in public, but please! you have no Idea of who I am. So don't judge a book by it's cover. Please, don't bother with an online "Oh! we're sorry". It doesn't mean anything to me!

Great food, good service, overall a nice place. I'd recommend it, the waiters were great with the kids and brought their bottled pop to the table and poured it into wine glasses for them, which made my boys very happy. The food was amazing and good sized portions too. The pork knuckle was tender and melt in the mouth, served with cabbage which was a great side to it with its sharp fresh taste. The chicken skewers were tender and flavourful and the kids chicken noodle soup was fresh and clean tasting and my boys enjoyed it. Larger groups were coming in as we were starting to leave. I'm sorry the food was so good I forgot to take photos before... So this is after 😂

If you're looking for some good bread, pepper, and sour cream, this is the place to visit! The only minuses are the flying insects and the loudness of the other customers because it's a well-known restaurant in this "city".

We were here early, the restaurant was completely empty, so we got to be spoiled as the only customers. We ordered traditional food and the house specialty indicated on the menu, the food was delicious. the option for tips was indicated on the bill. stop by if you're passing through Brasov.

It was a suggestion from a romanian friend. We had the Romanian Papanasi and it was really tasty and the portion was huge. Good place to feel the city vibes.

An inspired choice For the Romanian food lovers, this would be an excelent choice. The chicken soup was delicious and the grilled meat was fresh, with balanced condiments and tasted like wood grill. I will come here to enjoy the great taste of a simple food. The service was fast and nice. It was full at lunch time, a booking in advance would be recommended.

Best papanashi in Romania. I wish I had taken more pictures, but we got a great variety of food and everything was excellent. Excellent meats! I ordered the chicken in mushroom cream, and it was delicious!

We were looking for some late dinner (11pm) and stumbled upon this treasure. Despite the late hour everyone was very polite & kind. The food was amazing and tasted homemade. The atmosphere was like fallen out of reality. We really loved it and appreciate to get such great food at that hour. (As always in Romania there are ~no vegan options. But the vegetarian ones were amazing!)

Food is extremely good and tasty, serving is very good to, It is one of the top places where to eat in Brașov. If you go there don't miss it!

Both the food and the service lived up. Been there a couple of times and always enjoyed the experience. The last time I went, I was in a hurry and they brought me my broth in 2 minutes, much to my gratitude.Otherwise, slow food to take your time with. Traditional folk music in the background without exception, if you like this.

Went there for a team dinner, with over 20 people. Food and atmosphere are great, the only negative aspect is that pets ate not allowed on the terrace and that is quite unusual even in Romania. Other than that, I eould gladly recommend the place to anyone seeking a good place to eat!

Best Romanian food I've ever tasted!!! Delicious assortment of palinka and soups. Scenery is beautiful and service is wonderful 😍 Server Gabriela was nothing but helpful happiness and made my expierence that much more enjoyable!! 10/10!

GREAT FOOD, we sat in the front of the restaurant which was practically empty compared to the back (packed). We had tripe stew, cabbage rolls and polenta, wine, and a meat platter; no room left for dessert! The food was delicious; we stuck with the house red wine which was really good. The waiter was very helpful and ensured we were happy with everything! This place is definitely one to try!

Had dinner with some friends at this place. It is part of the Sergiana group. They have good, hone made traditional food. We hat "tochitura" and "pomana porcului " followed by a desert called "papanași ". You can see pictires. Everything was delicious. Highly recommended!! Our waitress was a darling, having good cheering jokes and even come back to ask how was everything, few minutes into a meal. Something you see often in N America, but not in Europe... I will go back to this palce or any of restaurnats under the umbrella of Sergiana.

The soups/ciorba were very good but the 2nd plate not so impressive. The pickled cabbage salad had no oil and no spices, the tochitura was blind, no spices, and a very light sauce like for diet.
