A walk through the woods or climbing uphill hundred stairs ~ it is probably the best place for Brașov city viewing. Standing on the wooden balcony at the pavement of the White Tower, you can spot all the high rises churches, buildings of the old city center and also the surrounding medieval walls, hilltop fortress, and bastions. Beautiful place!

I enjoyed walking the Street Behind the Walls (Strada După Ziduri) then climb the stairway to the Tower. The Tower itself needs restoration.

The location is quite good to capture the old city of Brasov including the Tampa hill and the BRASOV text from above. Reaching the white tower is quite easy. You will have to go to the streed behind the walls and then at some point cross the first bridge to the left and hike to it. The tower was not opened on a Monday and I don't know if it ever opens for visiting.

Great view of the town although not too different from the view of the Black Tower. If you are planning a trip up, the steps in front of it are a killer! Its best to take a gentle stroll up to the black tower and then from halfway up the tarmac slope, take the mud path across the side of the hill to this one and then work your way down the other side. It wasn't open when we went and didn't look like it had been open for some time either. The platform at the front is a good enough substitute for a view of the old town.

A short walk through the park will get you to this place witha a magnificent view of the old town. No shops nearby, only to admire the city

Very close to the city centre, convenient for a quick visit. Tiny bit of uphill walking. The view from the top is amazing, you can see the whole city. Pretty building, didn't find it open.

Why you have to climb all the stairs to get in the tower? Because it offers a great view over the city. Also, inside there are quite often, art exhibitions.

The tower is closed so you won’t have the option to actually visit it. Also, it is really disappointing to see graffiti all over the base of the tower… such a pity that the authorities don’t do the job for what they’re paid for.

The place is lovely! It has a great view over the city, there you can see the Black Church, the main square and the whole historical area of Brasov, as well as the Brașov sign. You can either get there by climbing up the stairs or following a nice path from the nearby park. Great place for pictures!

The view from Turnul Negru is just amazing. You get to see the old town and the Black Church.

Narrow high stairs to climb up. Much more difficult than the black tower. But it's well worth it once you get on top. Great that there are multiple views from around the city to enjoy the entirety of the center area.

Interesting, but rundown, unfortunately, offering some of the best views over the city. Totally worth climbing the stairs or take the path from the Black Tower.

This place has a really nice view over the old part of the Brașov town. It is easy accessible, but the stairs can kill someone with heart problems. Can be improved and provide a better experience for the tourists. When I visited it wasn't open for visits. It should be better promoted.

From here you can have a great view and you could plan your route through the historical points of the city , sit on a bench with your loved one and have a nice moment together or just enjoy 1 last peek of the city before you go back home (like I did) 😎

It was closed, you can make some good picture there were you can see some part of the city.

Great location to see old center, great view. Not that much space to walk though and it fills with people really fast, since its not that much to see there.

I walked up here on a walking tour. I think it's an old lookout tower. You can not go inside but at least can get some nice photos of the city.

The tower is accessed from a nice path through the woods. Unfortunately you can’t go inside (the man working the Tampa cable car said it closed a few years ago and doesn’t know if it’ll ever open again) and it has a lot of graffiti on it.
