A very beautiful cave, located at an altitude of 830 m. Wonderful stalactites and stalagmites 🪨 We were lucky because there were very few people and it was possible to see everything calmly. The cave is small, we have seen everything in 15 minutes. I really liked the foggy forest nearby the cave. It felt like you were in a mysterious forest somewhere in foggy England.

Very nice place to visit. Be warned the walk to the cave can be somewhat intimidating, depends on your fitness level. Once inside the cave everything changes, on my opinion it is a cool cave.

It is not a very big cave, but the specific features (stalactites, stalagmites, rocks, etc.) are quite spectacular, and the route for the tourists is well laid out and maintained. The cave is very close to the Rasnov fortress, another important tourist attraction in this area. Bonuses: - the lighting circuit is designed in such a way as not to disturb the colonies of bats - the "minute of silence" - when any activity stops, all the lights are turned off, so tourists can listen to the natural sounds of the cave - the special acoustics of this cave, and, for this rason, the Brasov Philharmonic organizes concerts in the cave.

A beautiful cave that even families with children will enjoy visiting, even if some may experience the path from the parking to the cave as a relatively demanding upclimb. The cave itself is safe yet quite impressive. Access is only allowed in groups led by a guide, who is also an expert on the cave. Inside, you will listen to a prerecorded audio presentation with further interesting information about this cave, which is still active.

The cave has guider and the inside was very good. The parking entrance is abandoned and in order to find the entrance of the cave you have to walk a 2km dirt road. Realy I didn't know if I was going to the right direction or if the cave was open. There was also a wooden construction in order to reace the cave but it was destroyed.

It's an interesting stop if you are passing by, but honestly not worthy to get there on purpose. The cave has only one single ring path you cannot get out from, you can visit only one chamber and the visit lasts maybe 20 minutes. Once you are inside, there is a recorded voice explaining how they discovered it and then they turn off lights for few seconds. I think that 20 Lei are way too much for the tour itself. Visits are programmed every half a hour, and you can't get in by yourself.

Really interesting place, but to get there you have to walk or, I'd rather say climb, a LOT only to stay in there and observe the cave for maximum 10 minutes. I'm not going to spoil what you do in there, but let's say it's kind of worth it.

Such an amazing experience. Inside thousands of years of evolution and unique preserved ecosystem. On top of visualisation we also received a chill when lights have been turned off for a minute. Fully enjoyed the experience

The path leading to the cave goes through a very charming forest looking like it came out of a movie. It is a 10-minute walk from the main road, and it is rather steep at some points, so be prepared for a bit of exercise. The guide was extremely nice to us, he didn't speak any English and we managed to arrive only 15 minutes before closing time, but he still let us in and tried his best to show us the cave, to overcome the language barrier and explain what he could, and also warned us about the bears in the area! The cave itself is spacious and very interesting, with some beautiful rock formations. At one point they turn off the lights for a couple of minutes to let you experience complete darkness - this is something that you can't see in the city. There is also a small stage where they apparently do classical music concerts sometimes, which must sound amazing with the acoustics of the cave.

This is a quite small cave. Inside there are beautiful thibgs to see, but the tour is quite short and you kind of have to keep going so you don't hold the people behind you. To get to the cave you can walk uphill around 500 meters or pay 5 lei to get there with a converted 4x4.

Unfortunately no tour in English. Very busy, the whole cave was stuffed with people. The cave itself is beautiful though. Get some good shoes for walking up the way. If you're unfit give yourself some extra 10 minutes to catch your breath!

The cave was really pleasant, the guide really knowledgeable and kind. The cave is not very large, but we got to listen to the sounds of the cave in the dark, and that was quite the experience. We also saw some bats. We had an advantage that we went right in, but i know that there is a wait time of 30 min between each group that enters.

This is the first cave I ever visit. For first time it was a quite pleasant experience: -Short time for visiting (aproximativ 15 min. great for those who have phobias😊). -Guidet tour with a surprise in the final 😊 (if you are scared of darkness stay close to your friend). -Wen it's raining, the water grows and it's quite dangerous to visit, also in that case you could finde the cave closed.

It is a small but really beautiful cave. It was reconditioned recently, thus is really accessible. The story of the cave is presented during the visit, in romanian. Also, you will get to experience full darkness, as part of the tour is having all the lights off for a couple of minutes, hearing only water drops splashing on the stones. The guided tours are scheduled once every 30 minutes.

Completely unexpected. We really enjoyed this short but eventful cave experience. Our Tour guide was kind enough to recognise we only spoke English and ensured we were given the same Information as the rest of the group. You'll know why that's important after visiting. :)
