This statue is not well known, not even by the people of Brasov, and even if it is a copy of the statue in Rome, it deserves attention.

This statue located in front of Braşov City Square; legend of the founding of Rome in mythology twin founders Remus and Romulus It depicts the she-wolf saving the brothers from the Tiber river. : : The original was in the Capitolini Museum in Rome. In fact, this figure is the symbol of the Roman Kingdom. According to Roman Mythology, Romulus and Remus are the founders of the city of Rome in 753 BC. According to legend, they are the twins of Mars, the God of War, and Rhea Silvia. Their ancestor is Prince Aeneas, the son of Aphrodite who escaped from Troy. Aeneas is Hector's cousin. Romulus became the sole owner of the throne by killing his brother Remus, with whom he founded the city of Rome.
