Great stop here. Restored 13th century Teutonic fortress. Looks great and the grounds in and out were immaculate. If you are in Brasov the #320 bus in front of the train station gets you into Feldioara with only a short walk to the castle entrance.

Feldioara fortress looks good but I would've wanted to see more of the old or the ruins. The fortress has been renovated and it looks too new for the period it was back then. It is a small fortress beside the Rupea Fortress but if it's on your way, it worths a visit.

Review for beginning of December 2022: -Car parking available nearby (I saw 3 busses parked and around 5 cars, and there was some parking spaces available) -friendly kios staff, payment accepted by card (contactless) -access is 15lei/adult (aprox 3€) Citadel is nicely rebuilt, rather on the small side but a nice visit if you are accompanied by children. Clean inside, beautiful panorama around.

Great fortress, started in 1211 by Teuton knights. You should stop by and check it out!

Close to Brasov. It is well maintained and nice to visit. You can only visit the citadel, the church is not opened. The view from there is beautiful.

It's a nice and calm place with a beautiful view of the surroundings. Not long ago renovated with great detail on the woodworking. Besides a short walk there's not much one could do here.

A hidden gem around Brașov, this is a very nice and well kept citadel that impressed me from the very first moment. The nice lady at tickets bureau gave us a short history of the place before the visit. At the gate there is medieval music that completes the synesthesia while you walk into that dreamland. The view from the main tower is magnificent and there is a wooden viewpoint to the village. Some expositions were superb, others were just photos or drawings of the object, but they all felt really authentic. There is also a templar exposition in one tower, with posters and written history (also with a movie with the detailed history of the citadel). So if by any chance you are around, please stop for 30 minutes and visit this superb citadel. It is worth it.

Very nice total renovation out of ruins. Interesting and ample explanations about the stricture itself, its history and local traditions. Must see in the area.

A marvelous place that’s been beautifully brought back ro life though stories, pictures, architecture, and music! We had a lovely time discovering its incredible history and truly appreciated the warmth of the staff. Highly recommended!

The citadel is quite small, but cozy and warm. The view from the small hill is nice and you can see the vast fields around it l. We visited it during early spring so I bet during the summer is way nicer.

The fortress is well restored and has a lot of historical info. It's give you medieval atmosphere.Pitty that the road is under construction and poor direction to the site.

Beautiful place, a restoration of a teuton fort, even more dramatic when covered in fog as it was when I visited.

The citadel itself is restored and all but there is nothing to do there for more than 10 minutes.

Very nice, but small. Big plus that hosts cultural events and outdoor movies, during summers. Great job done by the local administration!

Upon arrival we found a parking lot where we left the car, we paid 15 RON (3 EUR) per ticket, and we received a cool leaflet with information not only about the citadel but also about its surroundings, and a discount voucher to a restaurant nearby. We were happy to discover a very well-maintained fortress (actually it was restored between 2013-2017).
