A very nice and well-designed new museum that presents the history of the city of Codlea. And the guide sir was also very good, explaining everything in detail with a lot of dedication and very friendly too. It was one of the most beautiful museums I have visited so far. I will definitely come back when I have the chance.

(Translated by Google) The ground floor has several rooms that depict the specifics of the area, through codlene objects and industries, famous people, elements of coexistence between Romanians, Hungarians and Saxons. Upstairs are temporary exhibitions of contemporary artists, a numismatics exhibition and a multimedia one.

(Translated by Google) A wonderful experience! The museum, although small, is full of history and very nicely restored. They have a lot of objects on display and I appreciated the presentation of the museographer, a living "book" of local history, who told us a lot of things! I have rarely encountered this in a museum in Romania, unfortunately, paradoxically. Unfortunately, the courtyard and the church were closed for restoration, but all bad for good because we have another reason to come back here! Another plus for the year 2022 is that the entrance is free, at the discretion of the mayor, to whom we thank, but that did not prevent us from appreciating the experience with a donation (it was really worth it!) Aah, and don't forget, recently, in one of the rooms was the house of marriages, which is again wonderful in the sense that the locals can enjoy the historical monument in a different sense than the historical or touristic one. Pluuus, they also have some hi-tech at the museum! I'll tell you, Codlea is a wonderful place!

The museum's guide was a very knowledgeable man who wanted to share all with us. The museum is situated at the entry of the fortified Church, and it is composed of a few rooms on 3 levels, basement, ground floor, and first floor. The exhibition is mostly made from stuff collected from the locals. You can find out who Codlea's inhabitants were, what they'd produced, and how they lived. You can see that some efforts were made for us to see a bit of the town's history, but without a guide, the visit would have been shorter and not so enjoyable.

I came to see the church fortress while the gate was closed and was helped out by two very welcoming ladies who urged me to return afterwards to see the museum. Not only was the museum nicely put together and equipped with many interesting historic exhibits, I even got a personal tour in fluent German by the highly committed and educated guide. No entrance fee. Overall a great example of Romanian hospitality.

A clean and welcoming space, lovingly rehabilitated by passionate people. What it offers now, should be promoted at a high level, as an important heritage of Brașov county. The versatility of the cultural heritage - historical and current - with which it presents itself makes this museum a point of attraction for enthusiasts looking for quality and refinement.

An unexpectedly beautiful, clean, very well maintained museum. We were guided by a museographer dedicated to his profession. Bonus sang us "Ode to Joy" on the xylophone. It was a nice experience!
