A portion of the hiking route that leads to the cross of heroes from Caraiman, wonderful but which in my opinion is intended for those with some experience in hiking with a good physical condition and properly equipped, existing sections with chains. Here we found black goats, beautiful animals protected by law. In winter the route is closed due to the level of complexity. It is not recommended for those with fear of heights.

Going up is very hard, coming down is a bit easier. The view is breath taking. Be careful when stepping on stones and use the chain where is available.

It's a secondary path to the Heroes Cross that is not that crowded and it's way more spectacular. Be here very early in the morning for stunning views.

It's a short hiking path, about 1 hour, closed over the winter, but quite safe over the summer. It offers some great views and it is not so crowded like the trail between Babele Chalet and the Heroes' Cross.

Lovely and easy trail from Caraiman cabin to the Heroes Cross (40-50'). Avoid it when storms with chances of lightning. Otherwise, easy to be done even with kids.
