👍 Really beautiful house. The guide was great and explained us everything. The only thing that i didn't like was the price for photos 20lei(4€) for 1 item and 60 lei(12€) for 1 room is way too much. I recommend it for people who want to learn more about one of Romania's best authors People often mention house,

The house was preserved exactly as it was during the time writer Cezar Petrescu lived in it (late 1930s-early 1960s). Even if you're not familiar with his work, this stylish, authentic mansion is worth seeing.

This is a typical romanian house from last centruy. It was the house where Romanian writer Cezar Petrescu spent his last 24 years of his life. The house preserves all original personal things and furniture. His most famous book is "Fram, ursul polar" (Fram, the polar bear).a book for kids and not only. The visit takes a maximum of 20 minutes including the garden. The only negative thing I noticed was the lady that takes care of the museum. Although the daily schedule is between 9 -17, she was not there when we arrived in the morning at around 9.40. We came in the afternoon and we were lucky to visit. She refused others who came at around 16.25 saying that museum is closing. But the most annoying thing is that she did not tell almost anything about the witer, house or his books.

It's an interesting piece of romanian literature history. Even if you're not aware of who Cezar Petrescu is, the experience is worth it for looking into the past. The house architecture is nice and the interior is well preserved with a lot of original stuff.

👍👍 The trail from Bușteni (885 m) to Urlătoarea Waterfall (1,055 m) is accessible and the waterfall can be reached in 1h and 15, max 30 min. It is an attraction for a lot of tourists because of the beauty of the waterfall and the legend that goes with it. It is a pretty easy mountain trail in the Buceg...
