I brought bed bugs back from this hotel after staying in room number 34 for two nights. Despite the pleasant appearance of the place and friendly staff, it was unbearably noisy. My room was right next to the kitchen/restaurant, making it incredibly loud.

Very nice and cozy hotel in a great location. The architecture is nice - it looks very rustic. The rooms are quite spacious and nicely furnished. We had 2 rooms with a balcony and the view of the main tower which was very nice. The most annoying thing was that every morning after 6 am there was A LOT of noise making it impossible to sleep. The staff would be cleaning outside or restocking the restaurant and they would do it in noisiest way. It sounded like trash bins and beer crates were dragged on the floor. Horrible noise to wake up to. Breakfast is included in the price but we were very disappointed. Even if it closes at 10, we went there at 9:15 and more than half of the trays were empty or almost empy. No one refilled the trays even if there was almost one hour left and plenty of people still coming. The bacon and sausages were soggy, dripping in oil and the eggs were overcooked Overall the staff was very nice and helpful

I loved the room all over the area, well functional as well as clean and tidy. Staffs are approachable especially in the reception. Although i will just stay for 1 night but i can feel its very comfortable. I will strongly recommend to anyone who is looking for a great and convenient place to stay... Thank you

All in all I had a really great stay in Casa Wagner. The House itself is really old and the hotel really managed to preserve the history without the rooms being outdated. The places is perfect to explore the old town. They have their own restaurant "Wagners Loft" which offers you to take your food up to the room. This was great for me after a long sightseeing day where I just wanted to have a good meal in comfy clothes in my room. Only thing which wasn't that great was, that my room had no window blinds on two of its windows and it got really rally bright when nearby houses turned their light on.. I am not too sensible for light when sleeping and was about to get up early anyway, but it woke me up at 6:30am at both nights of my stay

Well located. But most of the rooms are dark. My bed cover smelled cat piss and the A/C made such a cracking noise that I could not sleep properly. Not worth the price. Probably not the best choice in the area

This is a cute property but a bit of a maze, However our twin room was comfortable, had a kettle to make tea / coffee and had effective aircon. The breakfast was great in view of the price and you can't beat the location in the main square of Brasov. The room we stayed in (16) did have a strange smell originating from the drains which seemed intermittent, it was a little off-putting but dissipated with the aircon on. I imagine this doesn't apply to every room at the property, but if you do encounter it, I'm sure the hotel would be happy to swap rooms. Checkin was quick and easy and staff were super friendly. Some light noise from directly adjacent rooms, but nothing to really complain about.

We've been staying at Casa Wagner for over 5 years, every time we come to Brasov. The place is lovely, clean, extra comfortable beds. The staff is amazing, always there for you, always helpful and nice. It's right in the middle of Piata Sfatului, so you're extremely close to any landmark or museum. Will definitely come back again.

I wasn't pleased at all with this location. It was my first time staying with them and most likely the last. Room 27 is smelly and very hot (the AC is working, but can't keep the room at a comfortable temperature). Wi-Fi is also pretty bad.

If I could give it 10 stars, I would! The building itself is located in the perfect spot in Brașov, I couldn't ask for better! It's full of character and charm, the rooms are very spacious and the decor fits the charm of the hotel perfectly! In terms of beds, they are extremely soft and comfortable, I slept like on a cloud! Cleanliness was top notch, could not fault it! We also dined at Wagner's Loft and it was the most delicious food ever, I'm really glad we didn't decide to eat at one of the many, many other places, it would have been a shame to miss this gem! However although there are many things I appreciate about Casa Wagner, the absolute diamonds of this place are the staff!! The most friendly, attentive, helpful people that really make this place sparkle! They get the extra 5⭐ to take it to 10! I hope they will get a big bonus, they definitely have earned it! A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! Can't wait now to go to Casa Wagner in Sighisoara on the next holiday!!

I stayed at this hotel for one night. It was the best stay I could have asked for. It was in the perfect location which was very convenient! The workers always went above and beyond to meet all of our needs and made us feel like we were at home.

Had a great stay at Casa Wagner. The location was excellent, looking onto the main square. The rooms were very nice and the staff were lovely. I also left a set of keys in the room and they were very most helpful in returning the lost possessions to me.

I had a lovely stay, right in the heart of Brașov. Wonderful view of the mountains and the Black Church. The room itself a gem, cozy and very spacious. The breakfast was delicious, lots of diversity, fruits and vegetales. I recommend it fully. Thank you.

Fantastic location, right on the main square, walking distance to everything with beautiful views of Tampa Mountain. The rooms were basic and a little dated but nice. Hotel staff were nice.

The site, fantastic, the location great. The divine rooms. The only thing was the treatment that one of the reception guys had when we arrived: he tried to trick us into trying to charge more for a different room than the one we were in, if we wanted to stay another two days. The chubby boy was not clear with the price, he said that we had to arrange it with the receptionist the next day. It sounded like a lie. In the end we spoke with another receptionist girl and it was thanks to her that we continued our stay in Brasov i Casa Wagner. She was fantastic and helped us with everything we need.

The location of the hotel is amazing, right at the heart of the Old Town. The stuff was very friendly and helpful. They provided information whenever we asked and they allowed us to check out an hour later than we were supposed to. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was great, with a lot of variety.

Beautiful old building on the main square. Fantastic location. Only public parking. Rooms are good and clean. Beds are very hard from American standards but typical for Eastern Europe.

Beautiful old building on the main square, full stop. The rooms are big and have old furniture. Unfortunately, inside the rooms persist a bad small of mould, this can be easy fix with a serious cleaning and a fresh paint. We sleep here two nights, in every morning at 7.00 the staff was moving the trash beans making noise. Moreover, we ask for a normal coffe and the answer was that they cannot start the espresso machine in the morning, even if we were paying.

For a standard double room we got a duplex. Do not know if it was because of overbooking or not anyway a nice surprise. The only complaint is for central heating system which occasionally makes a very loud sound (even at night) and uncleaned vent in the bathroom.

Middle of the town with affordable prices and stunning view (if you catch a good room). Breakfast all you can eat and very nice staff

It was a wonderful stay! Especially the room with the view on the main square of Brasov. The location couldn't be better! So close to everything and the rooms are so romanticly old fashion, just like I imagined it! And the transver from the airport to the hotel was very smooth. Everyone was so friendly especially the receptionist! Also: I really liked the morning buffet :) Only regret: not staying some couple nights longer.

Excellent location, right in the center square. Breakfast was various and tasteful. Rooms were clean and very interesting, the sleeping area was up some stairs in a loft style.

I stayed at Casa Wagner for four nights, and overall it was a great experience. My room, which was the cheapest available, was still very large, comfortable, and well-decorated. The only negative I’ll note about the room is that the bathroom (which is otherwise quite modern and lovely) would practically flood whenever I took a shower. This could be easily fixed by getting a longer shower curtain. The atmosphere is very nice and historic, and the hotel is located right next to the Black Church and other old town tourist attractions. Everyone at the reception I spoke to was exceedingly nice and had great recommendations on what to do while I was in town. The breakfast buffet is also nicely varied and fresh and you’ll be sure to find something you’ll like. Great value for the price, my stay was a highlight of my trip.

Great experience! Good looking hotel, medieval themed. Cozy rooms and quiet over the day when the old town center is busy outside. Will definitely come here again!

This hotel is in the literal city centre of Old town Brasov so top marks for location The rooms themselves are designed to look old timey…. Brick walls and wood beams etc however the bed and bedding were a bit too literal on the “old”. This could use a little upgrade The bathrooms were spacious and modern though with showers and tubs. The service was good! We had a problem with the room we were initially given and then changed us to a bigger room (with separate living room) ASAP! The breakfast was not the most lavish spread but enough to start of your day with. Overall a very pleasant stay!

Rustic and warm place to stay for one or two nights. I recommend you try this place. It s right in the old town center. The staff is very friendly and pleasant. Breakfast was very good, I couldn t help noticeing that at cleaning time all the sheets and cleaning materials are left outside the rooms on the corridors where the guests walk.
