Nice location. Right next to the main square and also has some good interior inside. Room is pretty big and breakfast is good

PROs: Check in was easy, even earlier than 12 pm. Friendly Staff, ready to help with any. Room is big enough, about 20 sqm. No option too adapt the room temperature, warm and good room climate though. Bathroom is big as well, no bathtub but shower. Complete set of amenities. Smart TV, WiFi connected with Netflix and other streaming APPs. You needed to connect with your own account though. WiFi speed is not constantly good. Consistent breakfast, starting at 7am to 10. Restaurant is great, average prices with variety of Mediterranean kitchen. Free parking with limited (6) parking lots though. CONs: The wood floor is noisy, I would say very noisy. This being valid also for the corridors, basically you hear anyone walking.

10 minute EUR3+ for taxi from the station, in the old town, arrived early 9am’ish, but allowed early check in, 2 nights, easy and polite (even offered breakfast too at check in). Room 2nd floor at front, big, good bathroom, bed and wifi; could get noisy in summer facing onto the street (& restaurant downstairs), but quiet after 10pm. Breakfast downstairs Mediterra (Greek themed) Restaurant Bar, all good buffet choices inc muesli, eggs, bacon, mushrooms etc. plus cheeses and cold cuts. Also had dinner two nights at same, very good, chicken, mushroom sauce and grilled vegetables, following evening ‘Greek fish & chips’ anchovies and chips; service was fine, quite relaxed.

Very close to the main square; delicious breakfast, nice staff There are no parking spots near the hotel, the closest we could get was at 15 mins walking; there is a lot of noise and food smell in the room because there are a lot of terraces near the hotel; there is no elevator in the hotel and the floor creaks at every step; there are no mosquito nets at the windows so we had flies coming in.

It was an unpleasant experience! We booked a room by the phone, for one night at this hotel and when we arrived, suprise, the room wasn’t available. The receptionist send us to another accomodation but more cheaper than room we booked and despite all, we had to pay at the same price like we stayed there. I do not recommend

Can't give this hotel enough praise. Breakfast included is comprehensive as far as most places go, really good selection. Super friendly staff, classy but affordable rooms, super clean. Will recommend all the best places to go and how to get there. No elevator if you've got a huge bag however but that's hardly the hotels fault.

Nice hotel, excellent location, maybe a refurbish recommend, and personally I like much more heat.

After my 3 nights stay I can tell the following : - don't trust the photos on booking.com The rooms look a lot bigger in the photos ( I stayed in a standard double room on the second floor ). You should check the surface of the room first. I didn't do that and was quite disappointed ( my mistake, this is not influencing my review's score ). - the staff is really nice - the floor is creaking soooo bad + the rooms are not soundproof. I could hear everybody on the hallway near my room walking as well as from the room above. - breakfast is decent. You shouldn't expect anything amazing, quite limited. - the location and the view are nice - basic facilities missing ( no bathroom toothbrush holder, just 2 glasses, no way to boil water etc .... ) - the WiFi is bad, for the second floor at least. - I visited during winter. I had to go and EXPLICITLY ask for the AC remote as it was not the room. The hearts were turning on and off during the night ( there is no termostat in the room or control over the heaters ). This was my biggest disappointment. All and all, it was okay. I got the room at around 330 lei (around 66 euros)/ night. Would I go back ? No. For example, for an extra 150 lei (30 euros) you could get a room at Aro Palace ( a duplex, i.e. a room double in space compared to the one I stayed in at Gott ). I would pay the premium. Everything is way better. It's not such a big jump in price. At Aro Palace you truly get a 5 star experience. Looking at the difference in price, facilities and location, Gott is a 2/5 star hotel.

Its indisputable advantage for those ones who want to visit the old city is its central location, just two steps from central square. All the other things are mediocre. Without any doubt I would add a kettle in the room. Other thing I disliked is noise from air conditioners from outside the room and smell of sewage. And at last the "view to the yard" looked exactly as wall view.

We had our breakfast here for 5 days as part of a B&B room in the nearby hotel. Excellent choice usual continental as well as hot food. Guinness is really good to and really excellent choice of alcohol drinks. Friendly knowledgeable staff

Nice hotel with great breakfast but very squeaky floorboards, but it's an old building so it was expected

Excellent location right in the heart of OldTown 1minute walk from Piata Sfatului, parking can be found nearby. We ve been staying at the hotel for some yeas now and it has always been good. The restaurant down stairs is good with Mediterranean cuisine and next to that is Casa Hiercher- also a good restaurant. Comfy bed, quiet and above all really helpful and friendly staff in both the hotel and the restaurant. When we visit Brașov it's at the top of our list.

Cozy Lodging option near the town centre. No Elevator in the hotel. It is difficult to climb 3 stories of stairs everytime.
