Nice location for mountain-lovers. From there you can easily access different mountain trails, paths that help your body enjoy the fresh air. Yep, the hotel is kitsch (built to remind of a castle), the rooms are not big, the services can improve, but the surroundings are nice.

We were only able to stay here for one night however sooo wished we could have stayed longer. The place is just spectacular and the service was great as well. Decorations were wonderful and the atmosphere just as if you were staying in a castle. Totally loved it. Had a breakfast with hot and cold foods that was delicious as well. The only negative was the wifi was not very good in the rooms however in the common areas it was great. Overall, Highly recommend.

The breakfast was not very good, and they're really slow at filling the buffet so you might need wait for you morning bread or cheese quite a while. Rooms were okayish but I'm sure you could get more value for your money elsewhere. The bathroom had electric wires hanging from the walls and shower was leaking. We were on the building next door from the main building with a family that had booked the rest of the rooms and treated then the whole house as their own, walking around in their pyjamas and having fights etc. Also this building doesn't have a working wifi. The reception nicely offered to help us in booking a ski school but then failed to let the school know that we do not speak Romanian (which of course was evident) and this led to an interesting skiing lesson. In general would not recommend.

First of all, this place is far in the mountains. There is no restaurants or super markets nearby. The staff isn't willing to help at all. We got a room on the upper "tower" and the elevator doesn't work to get there. After that, the guy in the reception told us there is no food at all and that the restaurant doesn't work. I asked what are we supposed to eat because everything is far away? He didn't care at all. The owner didn't even reply to our message. We went to Brasov City center to get another apartment. House of Dracula didn't even want to refund us, even though the hotel is completely dysfunctional. Mind you, the "sold out" sign on the booking is not real, the place looks literally abandoned, we were the only ones at the hotel . Horrible stay, horrible staff, horrible building.

Slightly further from the centre than I was expecting, but other than that a wonderful place to stay. Unfortunately the Spa isn't a full time thing and wasn't available for my partner to use (had to call an outside contractor to use, and they didn't pick up) Overall for me it was excellent, but partner was disappointed at first.

A very nice place in the heart of Poiana Brașov built to mimic a medieval castle. Great decorations hanging on three walls are creating an interesting sensation. Each room is different having its own identity.

It looks good and clearly it was better when it opened, but you can see the effort in maintaining it is not on par. The rocky wall decors are still nice but stairs already are chipped. The room was large, warm and nice though. Great wifi. No room service or food served in the restaurant, apart from the breakfast buffet. If winter and snow on the road, going down the steep slope to the entrance might pose difficulty to unprepared drivers.

Unfortunately, the hotel was rather disappointing. There was nothing special except for the Dracula in the name. Rooms were clean but lacked any special touch, staff as friendly but bot overly motivated. Breakfast was absolutely disappointing with very little to offer (only one type of bread, cold coffee and tea, no frsh fruit). Location is a little far from the city, if you like the peace and quit it is fine, but not much to do and no restaurants are within walking distance.

nice little secluded area in Poiana. Authentic rooms and resort designed to feel like you are back in those times.

The place is beautiful, the are is really beautiful, the services are definitely not 4 stars, I have seen better in 2 star hotels ... and that is the pity ... it could have been such an amazing experience ... but it was not, it was an "eastern European" experience ...

I liked staying at this hotel, it is clean and tidy, with a funny "horror" atmosphere inspired by Dracula. But unfortunately a couple of important things made me unsatisfied. First, the bed was strangely low. Really low. It was like sleeping on the floor. Secondly, breakfast. However check out was at 12.00, when we went to have our breakfast at 11.15 everything was already nearly over and the waiter looked very annoyed by us. We didn't have a proper breakfast at the end. I don't know if I will recommend this hotel. Maybe not, there seems to be nicer and more fancy restaurant in the area. Have a look at the other hotels in Poiana Brasov.

The stay was great, breakfast was delicious, we stayed for 4 nights for 1400 ron, there is a shuttle service to the ski slopes for 20 ron, beautiful place, the stuff was great, the room was a little smaller than expected, but that was fine.

Very cool, like a castle. Inside you have a stone look alike walls everywhere. Recommend

So many good things to tell... Very nice clean rooms, very friendly staff, nice restaurant with very good food, no need to eat out. The hotel building is spectacular, a castle in a quiet area surrounded by nature, hiking trails 5 minutes away. We tried the escape room Dinner of Dracula and had a lot of fun solving the puzzles, although we did not manage to get out, quite dfficult. Overall best experience with a hotel in Romanian a mountain resort.

Best hotel for medieval enthusiasts. It has towers, spears, fake torches and stained glass everywhere, big halls and rooms looking like dungeons. It’s the best way you can experience Transylvania.

The building is quite nice. The place was almost empty so I understand the challenges the staff must be facing with still offering good food. The roast pork we were served for dinner was clearly not fresh and had been re-heated and was served at room temperature. Please reduce your menu in times like this so you can still offer high quality fresh food. Random locals/staff were lounging around in common areas which made the establishment seem not very professional. They had also run out of shower gel.
