Super location, easy walk to everything in central Brasov, lots of restaurants, cafes, etc, nearby, even a bus stop to get you to the train station. Our room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. In the bathroom, there was no shower curtain so water was all over the floor after showering. Also, the rooms on the ground floor overlook the "courtyard", which is really just a hallway. There is no view, and no light, and other guests will pass by your window, or sit outside and talk/smoke. Although it was quiet while I was visiting, I could see this potentailly being noisy. Breakfast was ok, recommend going early because seating seemed limited.

The experience was great! The place is located right in the center of the city. You have an amazing view and many facilities nearby. The personnel was kind and easy to work with. The room I chose was a bit small, but was perfect for two people. It was clean, it had that old Brasov style and vibe and the bathroom was very clean. I suggest you book a stay with breakfast included because you won't be disappointed.

We stayed here for 4 days in late September '23. We absolutely loved this place (with one exception). Best possible location across the street from Council Square. Vintage yet well appointed rooms with all kinds of amenities. Great breakfast in which we gorged. Best part was the staff who were super friendly and fun to interact with. Provide great info for tourists. The downside, no blame to the hotel, is an ultra loud dog on the other side of the courtyard wall. We never actually saw the dog but we were rocked out of our beds at 5AM every day. Throughout the day this dog made sure we couldn't relax. Real shame to a great hotel. I wanted to give this hotel 5-stars but the dog ate one...

Only the location can make this hotel somewhat interesting. In a beautiful protected building, but lacking touch and details inside. Needs renovation. Personnel not customer oriented.

The location of the hotel was the best thing. Rooms were clean. Staff very polite. Breakfast could be better! More Bread, marmelade, honey options. Food for people with diet disorders like gluten

Friendly staff, lovely rooms. Unfortunately however, the bathrooms occasionally stink of sewage, and there is no air conditioning in the rooms. Outside of that, it's quite nice and in a fantastic location.

Only stayed for a night but I could definitely spot pros and cons. Pros: location, spacious rooms, good breakfast, friendly staff. Cons: TV not working, no hot water at night and we could hear the creaking floor whenever someone from upstairs walked. For 80€ per night, I expected more.

Highly recommend, great for tourists. Situated in the heart of Brasov is super comfy, warm, super clean, well kept, has a modern and a historical feel to it and comes with a delicious breakfast with plenty of options. Personally, I was obsessed with the omelette. Loved staying here!

+ Very convenient location, next to a mini market. Kind receptionist, he even helped us with our suitcase. Breakfast variety and quality were amazing and the room was very clean, comfy and warm. - To go to the room, we had to step outside to the cold and the stairs were very steep, with no elevator. There was some noise from upstairs and the room had no view.

Stayed for 3 nights. The best possible location in Brasov. The rooms are a bit dated. But large and warm. The breakfast is more than decent. When you consider the price + location + breakfast, it's hard to imagine a better bargain.

The space for dining requires urgent redevelopment. It is cramped and not at all attractive to start a pleasant morning for breakfast!

Very nice hotel in the center of Old Town. All of the amenities you would expect. Staff is extremely friendly and nearly all speak very good English. Walking distance to a large variety of restaurants and shops.

A perfectly placed hotel...and a parking nightmare ...there is no way to find any parking arround ..we had to park 1.5 km from the hotel ...but because its location it makes it perfect to go out and in a few steps find yourself in the town center with full of restaurants and just everything you need ...we got a room with window to the waterflow and we enjoied listening to it every night ..

While the location was amazing, the building housing the Safrano Palace has some limitations. It’s a 17th or 18th century wealthy family home with the high ceilings and generous rooms one would expect, but sort of cheesy decor that attempts to lean heavily into the palace concept, despite indifferent maintenance. We had two thrones in our room and a silly chaise lounge in front of the TV. The bed had obviously been moved from its original location with reading lamps and outlets on either side to a spot with neither. The rooms have no AC, which is common for historic Transylvania, but the spot is busy and loud. Bring earplugs. A man also sat outside our courtyard window chainsmoking all day, but maybe he was a guest and not always there? The one really golden spot was that our room was the one with the balcony overlooking the square. We went out there a lot and I must admit, I felt rather royal ;)

Great location across from the main square and 0.8km from the tram. The hike to the Brasov sign and Tampa summit is only 3km up from the base. The room we had was basic, queen bed w/ no air conditioning. Breakfast was an assortment of eggs, sausage, vegetables, meats and cheeses.

A very lovely hotel in the middle of town square. I had the centre room on the 1st floor with a balcony looking out at the Black Church and old town. Very atmospheric, spacious and clean with helpful staff. Breakfast was also top notch!

location is perfect for tourism. staff very friendly and always helpful. room was clean, pretty and had everything needed. wifi and shower were good. breakfast was good - buffet served in a nice lounge. negatives: rooms on the ground level have almost no natural light; could hear the above neighbors' every step. would book again!

Staying at Safrano Palace was a really pleasant experience. It's located in the city center and we had a wonderful view (you can see the most important tourist attractions from the window of the hotel, it depends on which room you choose). Our room was huge and clean, equipped with everything you may need. The staff was friendly and the breakfast delicious. We love it!

The hotel is right in the center of the city, the staff was nice, the room clean and well heated, the breakfast really good. A really nice experience, I recommend it. Gg

This hotel is spectacular. The rooms are very nice and clean, the staff is incredibly friendly and generally the room just feels nice and cozy. Located right in the heart of Brasov. The only downside is the lack of parking but there spots close enough and one parking lot that's close but not free. Definitely will come back here if I end up in Brasov again.
