Positives: The location was great - downtown. Soundproof windows - very quiet at night, even though there were parties at the bar across the street, when we closed the windows it was incredibly quiet. Negatives: I was attracted by the pictures on-line when I made the reservations and booked the white and gold apartment. Sadly, the in-person experience was very disappointing. Contrary to the nice design, the rooms were dirty - the couches and throw pillows had white spots. The bed covers had a lot of hair which was gross because they were in contact with the bed sheets. Vey poor housekeeping. There was a problem with hot water - every time we ran out of hot water if more than 2 people had to take showers. On the last day we had no hot water at all. My wife had to talk to the reception and went to another room to take a shower.

If you find the entrance, there you'll find a surprise. The place is quite nice and, though in the center of all commotion, quiet. At the time of our stay there was a concert in Piata Sfatului, but nothing disturbed us. You'll have some coffee free of charge, the rooms are well organized for short stays, hot water, lots of outlets, TV in the room, although you are not here for TV, clean bath, good towels. On the bad side, there was a peculiar smell in our room, not bad, but... Also, the entrance is hidden in plain sight, you could just pass by and not see it.

Very nice inexpensive place to stay. Reception staff very friendly and helpful,they also speak English quite well. We got a suite room instead a deluxe bedroom because there were some repairs going on and the owner didn't want us to be disturbed by the noise, that was very kind and thoughtful of them. Our room was nice, it's great for a family with two kids or two couples. Cleaning services were alright, the cleaning lady was very friendly and polite, she made us aware of cold weather. We decided to extend our stay with two days. The location is good, on the main high street of Brasov, close to most of the best places to eat. Would come back again

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights in March 2020 during our visit to Transilvania. It is very clean and nice hotel in the heart of the oldtown. Location is perfect, hotel is nice, price of the rooms are great comparing the what you get. We paid 37 euro for a twin room per night. I highly recommend to everyone.

Grea place with wonderfull rooms. I loved the murals on the walls.Location is great, right in the center of the famous Republicii Avenue.Small minus..they don't have a restaurant but well...they're located on a street full of restaurants and cafeterias so you will be able to diversify.

Well located with spaceous room. But bathroom gets all wet, and room was too close to a restaurant's kitchen, which is loud and smells like food being cooked all night.

I have stayed at Casa Antiqua more then 5 times since i discovered this amazing place, last year. The staff throughout the guest house were very professional, friendly and extremely helpful, every time with good vibes and welcoming smiles. The room was very spacious with historical vibes and extremely clean. The location is great, exactly on the main street of historical center of Brasov. I have no hesitation in recommending Casa Antiqua to the tourists whom want to visit Brasov. I will be back to this place soon!
