let's see how it was: 1. view 10/10. absolutely brilliant, you actually stay in bed and the mountain comes over you. and the view of the city takes your breath away. 2. location 10/10. yes, it's hard enough, especially if you have an SUV, jeep or any 4x4 with a massive body. because the streets are narrow and the curves very narrow. Yes, it is 1.6 km from the city center. but, if you put your car in the parking lot (which is video-surveilled) and take it on foot, you will notice that Brașov is beautiful every cm, not just the center. 3. Impeccable 10/10 cleanliness. I actually fell in love with both Brasov and accommodation.

Loved this place! Quiet location, breathtaking views. The rooms are beautiful and clean, the design is modern, pleasant, calming and tasteful, Scandinavian inspired. There are plenty of facilities and the host is very welcoming.

Excellent property and very conveniently located with a beautiful view. Very friendly and attentive staff , pleasant and helpful. Property is clean and has a fantastic modern time charm. If you plan on visiting the Brașov city I wouldn’t pass the opportunity of experiencing Shard Guest House.

This place is simply breathtaking! ❤️ Beautiful modern house with beautiful views & the owner is really nice and helpful. The only thing is that if you have a big car it may be a little tricky if you are not used to the tight roads of Brasov. You can also walk to the city centre within 20 min. Will definitely be back here.

They called as a hotel at Booking, but it's literary guesthouse, we did a reservation via booking, but once visited the facilities found it's not a hotel. We didn't get any instructions how to enter the property as it is pascoded. We asked to cancel the reservation, got callback from owner and agreed to do that (in English) but then he charged us. We tried to solve it through booking.com, but the owner lied them and lied us. We consider him as dishonest person and lier. One more thing: it's bad location, it's far from center and you have to go to the center through thin dark streets around 2km - it's located next to forest, and location is not peaceful.

Stay at Shard Guesthouse for a few days with family (10 adults, 4 young children) on our family trip. The views were amazing and the decor was fantastic. The staff was so friendly! We will definitely be back!

Great place to stay for some quiet and relaxed time. I definitely recommend this house. The owner is so nice and friendly, and it can be clearly seen that he likes to have a place with a great design. The view from the reception area is so nice over the mountains. I would highly recommend this place for couples and groups. The interior design is extraodrinary and has a deep harmony bound around minimalism and art deco. The host is very kind and will help you accomodate very easy. The rooms, bathroom, kitchen and living are very clean, well equipped, modern and simply amazig. You will surely remember this place and recommend further.
