The location is very nice, and has great potential. Unfortunately the lack of customer service and the rudeness of the personnel are lowering the potential 5 star rating of this place to a mere 1 star. The quality of the food....i couldn't tell as we did not had the chance to try it: when we asked for a menu, a place to sit or other info, we were turned away by the personnel. Their main excuse was that they are overwhelmed by the number of guests (which should be a good thing for a restaurant, especially nowadays when all HORECA is complaining about the low activity level). The personnel was overworked, overstressed and completely outnumbered. Unfortunately this seems not to be the exception, but the rule in a lot of locations. Me personally i will not go back there again. I prefer to pack my own lunch and enjoy the beautiful scenery which they mountains have to offer.

So many things wrong with this place, from poor customer service to the accommodation itself. Im going to start with the few good things, which are: amazing view, fresh air, possibility to go fishing, good restaurant staff , and lets say acceptable food. Now I'm going to start by saying that for the price you pay for you room, its not worth it. You get an outdated room, dirty carpet, the curtain was hanging from a corner, door from cabinet hanging on the side, the radiator in the room was rusted and seemed like paint dripped on it. The bathroom was also on the bad side. The towel support was moving on the wall, dirty toilet brush and the worst of all the shower was molded, it looked horrible. How can you wash your kid there? The restaurant staff are doing everything they can but they are all over the place, some are nicer than the others, but you wait too much for the food, not to mention they forget the bread, ice, salt, the little things that you end up waiting to long for them. They apologize at the end but the fact that you waited up to 2 hours , you get a mediocre service, average food, served almost cold and on chipped plates. And there are other small details that add up and ultimately makes you not going back and thats that. The worst its the price at everything, different prices on the menu and obviously you get charged more, and the lying behind the room price. Some price online, other price when on the phone with property to make the reservation and at the end they charge you with something extra. Its a no for me, kinda ruined our weekend. And i haven’t said anything about staff not wearing a mask,reception, cleaning staff etc. Its a shame really, its a shame.

Very nice personnel, kind and helpful, especially at the Reception. I couldn't stay because of the excesive smell of deodorant in the room, is was unbearable for me. I didn't refuse it from the beginning, as I was explained it's recently cleaned and I hoped the smell will be reduced during my Lunch. The owner / manager was not as polite as I expected, but he agreed to return all my money even if I didn't expected it or asked specifically. The garden is wonderful, the rooms are clean. The design of the rooms is a bit too much from 90's. The food is good and the service at the restaurant is fast. All in all is a nice place, but please check your compatibility with the smell of the rooms.

It's okey to drop in for lunch but don't expect much from the place. Coffee is awful and expensive.

A lot of ups and downs and the 3rd star is only due to the very good communication we had with the management, but the whole week of having breakfast here was a small fiasco. Missing food, random portion sizes, waiting close to an hour for a plateau of salammi and chese and 2 boiled eggs and the rudeness - oh the rudeness of the "chief waiter" was really infuriating. We found understanding with the management, but little has changed. The street side location is a bit noisy, but we knew that from the start. However, a wedding also took place there without any previous alert for us, so, even if they tried to keep it down, no chance of getting to bed early on that day... Also, we really wished for a more diverse fish menu, but nothing was worth having and nothing fresh. We don't think we'll come back,but we do appreciate the effort they make to keep this business up and competitive. Maybe next year will be better.
