I had the occasion to dine at this restaurant three times this year. The quality of their services, the overall experience and the excellence of the food cannot be expressed by words. They serve some of the finest tasting food I have eaten in Romania. The staff is very accommodating and I have thoroughly enjoyed the time I have spent there.

Restaurant is past the hill. Not what is was. How can you bring a plate with food having chewed gum stuck on the side? The owners are not visible any more and the quality sank. They coped with inflation by making soups thinner and poorer. The whole town is in a very poor shape. Dangerous potholes. Bear alerts every evening between 22:00 - 24:00.

Great food, but you can not make a reservation, meaning you are going to wait in line for a while. We waited for half an hour for a table of four, at 3 pm, so i suppose for a larger group at 1 could even take longer. Servers were great as well and very helpful.

Very good restaurant. We went there with big expectations and we were not disappointed. The atmosphere was pleasant, music playing nicely in the background and the decore was elegant and cozy at the same time. Although it was crowded the service was good and the wait times more than reasonable. The staff was kind and the food was good and very good. We had beef soup, mountain grouse with potatoes, pork ribs with rosemary potatoes and the famous desert 'papanasi'. I have to say that the ribs were quite awesome but, and mark my words, I've eaten papanași a couple hundred times, but these papanași were out of this world❤️❤️❤️! Would definitely recommend this restaurant!

We've visited only restaurant. Nice place, with good food but unnecessarily expensive, with view on petrol station. Carpathian schnitzel with cheese and champignons was good, but paying for it 70RON with side dish was too much in terms of price/value. Menu has English translation, however staff was talking only to our Romanian friend in Romanian, not putting smallest effor to interact with us in English although we were asking some questions.

I stayed here 1.5 years ago, the room is very comfortable, beautiful and peaceful. But the restaurant is the cherry on the top ! The best food I've ever ate is here, so many times in different years I had to pass by, I always stopped to eat lunch or dinner. I highly recommend this place, not only the traditional food, but my favorite is the mussels with garlic, wine and white sauce, I haven't ate a dish so good not even in Italy ! Also the focaccia with parmesan and garlic ! The waiter was very polite, friendly and professional, he deserves every tip ! If you ever have to drive by Hotel&Restaurant Dragului, you should definitely stop and try something!

The best food in Valea Prahovei. Here i ate the best chicken in Romania ( pui a la Predeal ). It is also the only place where i ate a salad served in bread, which was surprisingly delicios The only thing i didn't like is the fact that you can't make a rezervation for the restaurant we he had to wait 30 minutes for a table to clear out ( we arrived at 3:30 PM ) because this is a very popular restaurant in the area ( and with good reason )

Best lamb pastrami you can find on Prahova Valley. All the food is great and the menu is really diverse.

A place where I return with pleasure, where the food is as good as it was 5 years ago. My favorites are mussels in white wine sauce. Very good service!

We stopped on our way home to have lunch. The service was excellent. Food came out fast and the taste was very good. Highly recommended.

Great experience, good food, best place to eat in town: 1. Very tasty meal with a lot o variety to eat; 2. Different choices for vegetarians: fish, pizza, pasta; 3. Nice and clean place, where you can enjoy your meal; civilized customers; 4. Very friendly and helpful staff; 5. Decent time to wait your order; 6. Decent prices. 7. You should book a place if you don't want to wait: usually is very crowded.

Perfect place to eat ! First thing I’ve noticed was that the waiters have behaved very professional. Everything is clean and very nice put in place. The food is delicious and the waiting time is decent . Congratulations, leaders , for the way your employees act and behave !!!

Arrive the hotel only for dinning in the restaurant. Very nice place, great variety of food, very tasty. The servoce was increadable, fast arrival of the order, very pleasent waitres.

The waiter handed me and my boyfriend two different bills, one where he wrote 1€ tip, and the other one with 100.000€ tip. Guess it was supposed to be a joke, but I came to eat here, not for bad jokes.

The variety of the food is great. Just be aware that the portions are big, don't order too many. Everything is delicious and definitely this is a place to eat, regardless if you're looking for a lunch or dinner. A very nice surprise, the hotel is rated 3 stars, but the restaurant is, for certain, above that.

The best food and Mr. Marinica, our waitress, was 7stars ! The fantastic environment and the manner of the staff, very clean, fantastic food etc….

We consider this being one of the best restaurants in the area. We stayed in Predeal for a couple of days and went also to Brasov. Surely this is the best place to eat. I gave it 4 stars cause the pizza we eat yesterday was not great. Besides the pizza I would say everything else was great

Surprisingly awesome place for a small town like Predeal, even if that small town is a touristic one, I was impressed. And even though there were kids in the restaurant, the parents were very careful that the kids don't bother the other guests. Service was quick and discreet, food came out fast and felt fresh. The only complaint I have is that the portions were too large, I would rather have less food so that I can taste more courses, because everything was delicious!

I don't like Papanași. I went there because my girl wanted Papanași. We had Papanași. Now I like Papanași as well. Even took the time to write this. 5/5 for Papanași.

Probably the best place to eat from Sinaia to Brasov. Meals are very large and tasty. Service is excelent. Only downside would be that sometimes is there is a waiting que. Though there are plenty of children seats there is no area or toilet for children.

Same high standards as 7 years ago when we first dinned at Dragului. All dishes were very good and tasty, quite big portion for one person. Staff was helpful and lovely.

This place is my first option for eating lunch/dinner since 2007. (I never ate breakfast here, but I am pretty sure it’s delicious!) In my opinion the food is simply delicious. You can taste traditional Romanian food (sour soups, sarmale etc) or pizza, pasta.. The waiters are well educated, always with good intentions. Don’t hesitate to stop and eat or sleep here!

Taking into consideration the aspect of the restaurant and the hotel you would expect at least decent conditions, but be warned the food is awful, with the burger meat being dry and frozen and the potatoes being hard as stones. Mediocre would be a compliment, and the sheep pastrami was hardly apetizing... Sad for that price, just walk down the street to another restaurant!

A very pleasant place, with kind waiters and among the best dishes I have served. I recommend this place to anyone passing through Predeal!
