Very cozy place! The food was tasty and served very fast (probably cooked in big quantities early in the day). The staff is very friendly and the decor is traditional.

Really nice place. We got here at lunchtime (1 PM) and had to wait around 20 mins for a table, as the place was full. Skeptikal about the wait at first, when the food was finally served it made it all worth it. The beef paprikas was really juicy and the meat tender, not to mention the fact that it being served with noodles is pretty rare (although traditional Hungarian). Had a food hangover for the rest of the day as the food was really a lot. I'm only worry i didn't have any digestion medication on me. I would still do it all over again though. The staff was also very friendly and helpful, despite the fact that it was unbelievably crowded at that time. This place is a really nice find.

Best hungarian food we've had in Romania. Delicious and perfect recipe for gulyas, papricas and everything we had. Very good pickles salad and dessert also. Nice personnel and pleasant atmosphere. We've been here twice in one weekend.

It was one of the worse experiences i have ever had in a restaurant. Food was execrable. I ordered the steak from the attached picture, and i got a reheated piece of meat with a lot of very spicy topping, which was unbeatable. Potatoes were also filled with some spicy dust, looked like they have dropped the whole jar of spicy powder on them. I took 1 small bite, couldn't eat further, was close to throw up from the bad taste of the food. Also, I got a bean soup, which should have contained some smoked meat inside, well it was containing pig sking and fat, there was no meat in it. Elderberry drink has also a bad taste. The toilets were very dirty, there was piss all over the place, lookd like nobody has cleaned there. When had to pay and returned the plate with almost untouched food, waiter didn't even bother to ask what was wrong with the food since i have barely tasted it, looked like it was a normality there people to leave food uneaten. I wonder if i got someone else refused plate since it was reheated. And wasn't even a cheap experience, prices are quite higher than in larger cities center restaurants, which have way better food. Worse experience ever, will never return.

Absolutely outstanding. Cute traditional place, nice atmosphere, cosy and comfortable. Nice music, friendly staff. The food came quickly, was hot delicious and excellent portion size. Good prices. Will definitely be back and highly recommended. Beef goulash and the goulash with beans soup were so tasty. Fried cascaval cheese also good. 100% recommended

The goulash is one of the best I ever had, layers and layers of flavour and it blew my mind. Then I had the paprikas and it didn't hit as strong but flavoursome. My friend were obsessed with the paprikas and the drinks were also really cool. Elderflower and blueberry based drinks were amazing.

4 of us had a celebratory lunch. The site was packed, we had to wait until the reserved table was freed up (no problem, busy, we understand). Parking is a challenge, with no free spot in front or in the street behind the restaurant. We see it is busy, lots of customers, waiters were running. We expected that waiting time would be long (we got our drink and kept on talking). After the long wait (1+ h), 3/4 of us received the food. The fourth person was waiting, 10 minutes pass, nothing. I understand it is busy. I understand we have to wait, but after waiting, I expect at least to have all of us food at the same time, 'cuz this made the experience really bad. On top of that, our orders were screwed up, did not receive exactly what was ordered. I did not have the best time due to this, I advise some attention to the customer service! On the other side, if it had been a different day, when it is not this busy, it could have been better. The food is tasty, enjoyed every bit of that, couldn't recommend another restaurant in the area with a tastier food.

Excellent food, very tasty, and at fair prices. The restaurant has traditional food, but if you're interested in trying some local traditional food this is the place. There is a parking place in front and easy to reach. If you're passing through the village, I highly recommend trying it.

Great food but poor service.

Very good food and service! We were a larger group (9 people) and they helped us find a place inside. The food was delicious and very affordable. 4 people with food, drinks and tips 40€ (200 Ron) Parking is behind the building, it has a few spots in front of the restaurant as well, but there is a larger space behind the restaurant. If you want to try something traditional (as in romanians eat this alot) I recommend the "Pulpe Dezosate" with fries. It is basically grilled boneless chicken. Quite healthy and tasty.

The food is really good, but when the restaurant is full, the service gets really bad. The tables where unclean. They gave us the menu and then forgot to take our order.

Mixed feelings after coming here by train just to check it out since I absolutely love Hungarian dishes... First of: the goulash is one of the best I've ever eaten in Romania, hands down compliments to the chef 💪 But, the pork knuckle which on the menu appeared at 1100 grams was definitely NOT that size even if I include the sides and the plate it came on :)) It did taste very good though, rich flavor and tender. However the staff were ... some of the weirdest bunch I've ever met: my table (for one person) was waited by FIVE people in about 45 minutes! I asked to pay by card and ended up paying cash, I was checked by a waiter I've never interacted before who wanted to make sure I left the right amount even though I had tipped about 20%, I asked for a beer that never came 🤣 When I left some of the girls were out smoking while the people on the terrace were left unattended... Probably management treats them poorly, it's sad because that goulash really is at a superior level

Very good food. Hungarian gulasz highly recommended. Small playground for kids in the backyard. Lots of choice for beer. Young waiters not experience yet but only minus

It is sad that the food is tasty but the service is less than modest. Angry waiter, long time waiting for the food (not even hot enough) and, in the end we have been presented a bill belonging to another group (200 RON more expensive). Be aware!

Big portion of meals, good service. Inside and outside. Drinks and coffees as well. Really need to stop here for a meal and refreshments.

Amazing food! It is very tasty, diverse and the portions are big. They have a nice terrace and it is suitable for big groups. I would definitely recommend it.

Among the best goulash in Romania, excellent place for a trip break, accessible prices, good food. Traditional old fashioned interior which brings you back into the 19-20 century atmosphere. Very attentive and prompt waiters and team. Can be also recommended for families and groups.

Been here a lot of times, amazing food, great service, sometimes too busy, but worth waiting. The Hungarian beef goulash is "from a different planet" amazing.
