The restaurant is famous for lamb. We were 3 guys and 2 are lamb lover so we ordered 2 lamb dishes, one is good one is not. The first name I forgot, but I think it is top recommended which you could easily find it on the first page first line of the menu. The second is grill lamb chops, which is too dry to taste the fresh of the meat. Besides, have to say the lamb quality itself is good, so hope the chief could improve the grill skill. And the environment is great, but it is not friendly road to arrive.

Looking for a traditional place to enjoy a truly Romanian taste? Well, this is the place for you! You won't be disappointed. Not only fresh but the whole food is ready and prepared in front of you in their oven. One piece of advice - make sure you come here with your empty belly.

What an exceptional meal we had here the other day. The food was hot and fresh. Full of great flavors and we had a spectacular view from the patio. I would recommend coming here and experiencing a traditional Romanian meal.

If you want to try authentic Romanian food and listen some traditional music also, in an cozy and worm place, this is the perfect location. For children there is no facility but the place is huge and they can go out in the garden to play. The personnel is very friendly and the food... well... depends on the people taste and choice. The prices are a bit higher but for such location are acceptable. The acces road to the restaurant is a nightmare but once you reached to the location it worth the effort.

I wasn't that satisfied with the food, very big prices, didn't had all the things in the menu, The last mile is on dirt road so I got my car dusty. The place though is looking very nice and traditional. Next time I will go to another Sergiana restaurant, the one from Rasnov was amazing.

About my experience and this place I can only say: Wow! 🫶 Very well done to the owner, the location is lovely, the decor amazing, very traditional as its name, the staff extremely friendly and professional but last and not least the food is delicious no matter what you take, you can see the products used for it are fresh and nicely cooked. If you are here, to try “Ciorba de miel” is a must, fried potatoes (cartofi prajiti) are same as you use to make at home in the pan, the bread is baked in the oven, I was almost eating alone the whole bread! Also must try “Carne la garnita” PS: one thing that is missing is a hotel so you can enjoy this amazing food at the same place that you are staying. Can’t wait to come back here!

What a place! Wow ,Wow and WOW! The service it's very good ! The food is incomparable with other dishes in the area, it's on another level! Homemade bread ! they make in their ovens in the same place behind the restaurant, bacon, ham, peppers dipped in Romanian vinegar and many other traditional Romanian goodies. The prices are normal, they are not exaggerated and I really thought that at such a quality, the price will certainly go up, but I was wrong, the price is quite normal, it's really worth it. I was fascinated by this place. I will definitely be back soon I recommend 100% Thank you Stână Turistică Sergiana!

Wowowowowowowow what can I say….UNBELIEVABLE!!!! Everything is just impecable and pure romanian! Food is amazing, the views are breathtaking, the setup in the backyard is just out of this world!!! I wish I could go back in the winter and be able to experience the bonfire!!! The day we went we even got a bit of romanian entertainment and that really made my soul sing! Even the bathroom blew my mind!!! Love it! Absolutely PERFECT!!

One of my favorite restaurant line in România! Delicious traditional food, made from their own farm. Highly recommended visiting it while around Brasov county. Try stew with polenta or a delicious peas soup in bread. On top of this, enjoy the mountain landscape! Ps: unpaved road, but easy to access!

A place where you need to go at any cost if you're in Brașov! Nice atmosphere, with live music! I've been in "sergiana" restaurants many times, but this one is different! Also they have live traditional music ! Good quality of food , and good products! This place is a must, specially if you're a tourist from a different country! It will take your holiday to another dimension.

It was the first time we visited this restaurant, we were able to cal in the morning after new year and get a table for 20 people. Once we arrived were seated promptly, the food is absolutely amazing, but so is the service and everything else, they had traditional Romanian live music, and the decor is also perfect for the restaurant and location. Every dish was delicious as expected and the service was great, we will definitely be back.

Authentic Romanian cuisine in a very beautiful spot. The food is absolutely delicious. The homemade baked bread that comes with the soups is enough to accompany you throughout your entire meals. Tripe soup with onion and sour cream is a must try! For sure will be coming back when visiting Brașov and Poiana Brașov!

Love the whole aesthetic, It's a re-imagined old Romanian restaurant/tavern: all made of stone and wood, rustic, even the chairs are hand-made. The service is superb, if you order soup, it'll be at your table in maximum 5 minutes, the other dishes take a bit longer, but still quite fast. All of the food is incredible, left completely full, in a good way. Looking forward to come again

It's the probably the most beautiful location you can be in Brasov and for the food I don't have word.Everything was homemade and really delicious.I hope you continue to work more years to come.

We had one of the most delicious traditional foods in Romania, we loved all the dishes and the location is just gorgeous! Also the styling of the location is very thoughtful, in sync with the nature, it really feels like a time travel capsule back in the days 😅 Irina was our waiter and she was just lovely, always attentive and we appreciated this. Will definitely come back and I recommend the location, it's a must!

Great food and a great place. The “mici” were juicy and cooked to perfection. The polenta was very smooth and nice paired with cheese. If you are around get the drink “Must” it was amazing.

Great place to eat and enjoy the Rumanian countryside. One of the best bread I’ve got in a restaurant ( it was free but I don’t know if it cost otherwise), it was warm and soft with crunchy crust! Portions are pretty small so I recommend soup and main dish. Excellent papanasi ( Rumanian donuts ). Good service with friendly stuff.

A wonderful place to experience Romanian culture. The perfect blend of interior design, food, and service. Everything is styled in the classic rustic Romanian tradition. The food is fantastic, fresh, and rich in flavors, made from high-quality ingredients. A huge thank you for allowing us to visit with a dog. It's quite challenging to find a pet-friendly place in this area. They allowed us to have a special table and helped our dog settle in comfortably. Truly outstanding hospitality. Thank you so much.

This is unique place with excellent service and traditional food. Strong recommendations even it's a bit out of road. But that's great on it. Special thanks to Vladut. Super waiter 😉

The food is very good and tasty! The live music and the environment is also very nice! However the service kills the whole experience. We waited 1h15m to get the chance to order! Another 30 min to get the food! Worth it? If you want to spend 3h waiting for a very good meal, definitely!

Review for end of August 2022, after several visits for lunch in all seasons. Friendly staff Delicious & tasty food. Do try anything beef/pork related. Soups & Ciorba(s) are extremely tasty. Beef soup is served with sour cream and large chunks of beef meat. Also received part of beef's tail. Kid ate all serving! Decorations are really nice. At the inside you can see stuffed animals (bears, wolf, bear skins, stuffed birds, deer horns, wild hogs, etc). Really educative for kids. Each food order gets you an oven baked bread, served almost hot. Really tasty. Second plates courses are rather large. Leftovers could be arranged for take-away, just ask the waiter. Menu contains a lot or different plates, but can be rather hard to read in Romanian, even for a native person. Old words and playful combination of sentences describe each course. See menu details attached as photos. It can get crowded during opening, lunch time so expect sone delays in serving. There are also 3 outdoor serving areas: -in front of the restaurant (nicely shaded from the sun), - at the back of restaurant (here tables are spaced really well and there is a sense of privacy. Large sun umbrellas are available) - at the back of restaurant in a sort of patio. Do recommend calling ahead for a reservation! Parking on gravel, plenty of spaces. Also there is an EV charging station. (didn't pay attention to details)

TOURISTIC SHEEPFOLD RESTAURANT TRADITIONAL KITCHEN There is no better place to set a sheepfold than a meadow. And if the meadow is in Poiana Braşov, than the sheepfold cannot be but the touristic sheepfold, a place of feasts and pleasant halts, where Sergiana invites you in for a meal. Whenever you please!

Food so good I forgot to take pictures… Jokes aside, this is one of the best places for Romanian cuisine and traditions. The view and setting is also beautiful. Live music (often) and some of the best food I’ve had. Making reservations might be advised. Ask when the lamb pot-stew - “berbecut la ceaun” - is ready (it’s slow cooked, and it won’t be available all day). Prices are high, but for good reasons.

The best! Too bad that it's not the easiest to find, because the unpaved road to it begins in a working zone, but you'll get rapidly over this once you experience the food and the atmosphere of the restaurant. We'll be back soon. Very nice, helpful and accommodating staff.

Definitely one of the most authentic and genuine culinary experiences we had since our arrival in Romania. In terms of location, we couldn't have been more pleased with it. It's in a remote corner of Poiana Brasov, but not inaccessible by taxis. In one word, the perfect place for a Sheppard's cottage restaurant. As for the staff, we were more than pleased with Mr. Marius and his impeccable service. We owe a big part of our joy to him. The food was delicious and came in huge portions. Overall, a must see and eat in restaurants in the Carpathian mountains. Greetings from Japan 🗾

And the Oscar goes to... Stana Turistica Poiana Mica! An awesome location in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by woods and trees. About 10 km from Brasov, 2 km from Poiana Brasov. Bus 20 from Livada Postei, bus 100 from Main Railway Station. This is a traditional Romanian restaurant, actually a complex of indoor restaurants, outdoor terraces, a bonfire place, lots of open spaces. The food is great, meat, soups, vegetarian. Great taste. Traditional wines and spirits. Preparing the barbecue is a show in itself. Also the bonfire. Very clean and cozy. The staff is friendly and professional. Generous parking spaces. I guess there are plenty of extra activities around, like walking or ATV. And Poiana Brasov Spa is a walk distance. Thank you for a nice experience!

Located on side of the mountain, with amazing views of snow covered mountain picks in May, great log construction covered with regional artifacts, and all five of us greatly enjoyed the delicious Romanian food!

Food was good and fast. Fair prices. Good service & awesome rustic decorations. The only downside is getting there, as the road is not paved (might be a problem during rainy days). Also google maps might not take you there correctly! So take the turn fron the main street only of you see the big Sergiana indicator.
