We had a few days out with Marcus in Summer 2017. Marcus' extensive knowledge of trails and local geography allowed us to traverse some impressive tracks and visit some stunning locations, not to mention some fantastic wild camping. Marcus' local knowledge and contacts also proved invaluable helping us to obtain parts to repair a fault on a vehicle allowing us to continue with our tour! We originally planned to spend 3 days with Marcus but extended it as there was so many things to do. Some good off road tracks and trails, definitely not something you would find by yourself or on the internet. Almost all of our off road trails were leading from one attraction to another not just round in circles for the sake of being off road. We elected wild camping rather than hotels and were not disappointed by the locations for our evening camp. We were also pointed towards several good spots and places to visit after our tour. Marcus has a range of contacts that were a huge help for everything from sight seeing, translation and sourcing of parts (repeatedly). I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Transylvania Offroad Tours to anyone visiting Romania.

Had an amazing experience during my two day tour with Transylvania offroad tours. I got to see many incredible sights that I wouldn't have been able to do without them. Marcus was amazing at handling the Land Rover through rough terrain and was knowledgeable about the area. They are great at responding to requests! I got to see the sunset on the mountains then hang out and photograph the milky way. Thanks for the unforgettable experience!

We are from Spain and it has been an amazing experience. We spend 3 days with Marcus full of really good off road tracks and trails that can not be found on the internet. He adapts to the level and needs of the group stopping whenever necessary and helping the whole group, also when you get stuck ;) Another advantage of going with Marcus is that he has a huge range of contacts that can help you in any situation. To sum up i’m going to recommend transylvania offroad to all the people who come to romania. In my opinion he’s a very cooperative, attentive and friendly guide. In Marcus we trust.

Outstanding experience! Went for a short 1 day trip in the mountains surrounding Brasov with my family. They took us places we couldnt have driven to in our car.
