Great place to visit on foot. Leave your car At the INFO post and then walk for 4-5 km til you reach Dâmbovicioara Cave. It’s worth visiting especially during summertime! PS: there’ s an entrace fee of 3 RON Per person.

The cave is ok, the gorges would be great except if the Sunday revelers with loud music (manele)

Nice place. 3 lei entrance fee. BUT We've been there in 2007 and it was a bit different. May be we had a luck back then, because we could walk all the Cheile and no cars were there, but now it is impossible to walk there (especially with small kids) - too dangerous due to an amount of cars and absence of the sidewalk. And also amount of garbage in the river is just dissasterous. So pity.

Very nice place to visit, the landscape is amazing. 1 small minus for the road width, but all in all a nice place to visit anytime of the year.

Amazing place, still not overcrouded. The nice village at the end plus cave to visit Or, go forward and climb to Piatra Craiului - i did, getting on Om in the winter :-)

This is a very touristic area, a real defile to cross along 3 h as pedestrian to have time enough to admire unique peisagies and roundings but also to meet few mountain specific villages offering you natural menus and accommodations for a real full relax vacations in freshest air, pure alpine water and fresh milk based products, cheese etc

Not bad at all but could have been better with a guided tour.

It is a very spectacular place, and when I was there with my daughter it was not crowded. You go there on a road so you have to be careful of cars passing by.

Highly recommended!! Very nice daily trips or treks, we did a small daily trip that took us around 5-6 hours
