Cheile Bicazului is that one place you should definitely visit if you are around these parts, a beautiful view is guaranteed even during rain time, multiple walking tracks for tourists that lead through forests to mountain peaks, from shopping I guess you could try out the small souvenir boutiques but they're all mediocre and have the same products so don't really waste your time on them.

Beautiful place, not really safe since it is surrounded by stones. However, from there, you can do mountain hiking and discover Carpathian mountains beauties.

A very beautiful geographical formation just in the heart of Transylvania. You can see in real life how enormous it is according to a person. There is a river and several little waterfalls along the path as you walk. Unfortunately the weather wasn't nice when we visited, but it was an amazing experience. You shouldn't miss if you come to Transylvania. You can find some gift shops on the way as well.

Everything about this place is beautiful. However, many people tend to park on both sides of the road, making traveling for others very difficult. Be cautious when you drive up that road.

Lovely scenery, shame it's not very pedestrian friendly. You need to be really careful at the road traffic.

If you're visiting the region of Neamț in România, then the Bicaz Gorge, Cheile Bicazului, is a must see on any itinerary. Honestly, it blew me away. The road through the gorge feels as if it's been carved out of the shear rock faces by some roaming giant with a pick axe! Please go and visit it for yourselves: you won't be disappointed.

Amazing ascent, descend road is not as good. It all pales because of the breathtaking scenery

Very beautiful but very crowded. You can hardly find a spot to stop and take a photo or admire the view. The mountains are amazing but make sure you clean the car windows before, so you can take some photos. I'd love to go again but I'd choose Autumn. Avoid going in Summer or weekends, if possible...

Cheile Bicazului are a phenomenal destination and a road that is easy to visit.Despite deveoping in the recent years there is still a lot of work to do to improve the experience.Road is ok, but we are lacking decent parking spaces. There are some placese where you can dine on the way, which are also the only places you can use a toilet.

Great place to visit with family. Wondeful sightseeing and many interesting activities. There are many places around where you can eat. Additionally there is a small market/bazar with lots of souvenirs and handmade things.

Breathtaking view of the mountains. Available of road parking areas but limited due to high demand. Many small shops to buy souvenirs from.

The nature part is amazing, and one of the "must visit" places in Romania; but to be avoided in August and/or on holidays, it's very crowed, no parking spots available, and little-to-no actual enjoyment of the place to its true splendor. Most of gift shops are very crowded and full of the same "made in china" stuff :(( The road to/from there is pretty bad
